Yes. Exactly 💯 correct. Action and implementation are the need of the hour. Simply reading doesn't make things better.

What is that accent, sounds so wierd. Please get a Indian accent narrator. Listening to this itself people will run away from reading.

You can’t read the whole Vedas with understanding in one life time. All these scriptures end in developing love for god and living life with only one philosophy- All that I do through the day , I do only for the happiness of Bhagwan - so I cook for him, read for him, sing his glories, fight for him etc and let him decide the result. I have no wish for personal pleasure.

Bhagawan Krishna's Bhagavadgita is the essence of vaidik or Sanatanadharma.

One may read one more book: Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. This is freely available in Ramakrishna Math & Mission website. This book contains the practical teachings for leading a higher spiritual life while being in Sansara ( non-monastic life)❤

Please add thirumandiram. திருமந்திரம் ancient philosophical science in tamil unknown to the other part of India.
This ancient text, written by Thirumoolar more 5000 years ago in Tamil. This text encompassing a range of topics including spirituality, medicine, science, philosophy and psychology and encompassing principles from birth to death and afterlife. Infact, Lord Shiva himself has given profound teaching of ancient science to mankind, but this text also mentions about vedas as an authority and Thirumandiram in Tamil as great scriptures for mankind. The vedas and Tamil sastras are revered scriptures that unveil divine truths. God has bestowed these sacred texts upon humanity. Therfore, Thirumoolar maintains that these two text don't conflict but rather converge in meaning. He elucidates that by studying both, one can discover divinity and attain profound joy.ஓம்

Vedas are not "read" like a book.
Upanishads are also part of Vedas.
Autobiography of a Yogi is not a religious text and a must read.

    The name of this is

Mr West, Puranas aren't mythological. But we fools, especially the West, recognise them so.
