In the end, the cost and round capacity had me leaning xdm elite. Once I held an xdm elite in the store and noticed that the flared mag well made it a perfect fit for my large, wide hands I decided on the xdm elite. It felt like a custom fit! I'm a law enforcement officer,my department allows you to carry any hand gun you can qualify with has to be a Auto 9,40,45, or 10 mm I carry a Ronin 10 mm I carried a Springfield operator 45 acp for 7 yrs and before I Made the Switch to the 1911 10 mm I spent a year training with it 200 rounds 5 days a week, Using that drill you mentioned 5,10,15,20,25,35,40&50 yards but I tossed in angles also 12 o'clock and 2 & 10 position because that changes the width of the target sight picture,I've been carrying this 10 mm for awhile now and very happy with it, Recoil is nothing really my Glock 22 40 Cal actually feels more snappy than the Ronin,I always felt safe with my 45 acp but knowing now that I have the power of a 10 mm that extra confidence in my opinion Makes a better shooter, There's only 2 Loads for it that are excepted by law enforcement the 180 gr critical defense and a 200 gr Winchester load that is basically a black talon bullet with a different name, I've tested them on ballistic gel blocks and it usually splits the block in half, But thanks for a great video I'm a 10 mm fan Girl
The old 5.25 inch 10mm was 15 rounds. They no longer make the 5.25 inch 10mm anymore. They only make the 5.25 inch model in 9mm, and it actually has the highest capacity magazines of any standard 9mm pistol. It comes with 3 22rd magazines. The CZ P10F and CZ P09 come with 21rd magazines. Nonetheless you are right the 4.5 inch 10mm comes with 16rd magazines. The problem with Springfield 10mm magazines is that nobody makes high capacity 10mm magazines, so the 16rd 10mm magazines are really the highest capacity you can get. There is a company that makes a base for the XD 10mm magazines that holds 7 extra rounds. What most people do not know is that the 25rd 45 ACP magazine will actually hold 10mm ammo without modifying the feed lips. So if you buy a 25rd 45 ACP magazine for the XD, you can load it with 28 rounds of 10mm. Most 45 magazines will not hold 10mm ammo without modifying the feed lips, but the XD magazines will. The only other magazines I know of that will is the 45 Grease Gun mags, because they will hold 10mm also without modifying the feed lips.
If you don't own a 10 mm at all which one would you go for?? Especially a guy over 6 ft in the protection field too sometimes when I actually want to be 😆
I just bought this exact gun today. I have the Glock 20 gen 4 but I have had issues with it. I can't wait to shoot it but 10mm ammo is insanely expensive!!
Far from trashing the grip safety, I prefer it. It is a significant advantage over a glock when reholstering it can prevent "glock leg". The only downside to the XDM's are weight over a glock. They shoot better, have more features, are safer, better trigger, fit better in the hand, etc... But weight is a big deal when packing up in the mountains. On the plus side, the extra weight probably is part of what makes it shoot so well.
I’m not sure how it helps keep it safer when reholstering because you are gripping and depressed the pad on the back while doing it. But I’m glad you have found something which works for you 👍
@@HuntFishShootChannel "I’m not sure how it helps keep it safer when reholstering because you are gripping and depressed the pad on the back while doing it." When reholstering, lift the pad of your hand off the grip safety so its not engaged. You can grip the handgun with your thumb on the top of the slide in such a way that the grip safety is not engaged. When holsering a glock, as we have seen many times, and a drawstring catches in the trigger, it can cause a negligent discharge. Not possible with the XDM when holstering without the grip safety engaged. Another example is that there was a undercover cop who bent over in the airport, his glock fell out of his holster and he attempted to catch it. He caught the trigger and it went off. Not possible with the XDM unless you somehow engaged the grip safety at the same time. Sad to see springefield abandon it. Love the XDM, but will probably switch to glock because of the weight. Just have to be extra careful when reholstering.
@@HuntFishShootChannel "negligent discharges do not constitute a necessity" Of course not. You shoot yourself, its your fault. The grip safety is a feature that allows you to eliminate the possibility of certain negligent discharges that would otherwise have been your fault.
Just an FYI, the magazine holds 16 rounds. Some earlier versions of the gun shipped with 15 round magazines that had the shoe removed and replaced to work with the XDM Elite 4.5s. This gave it 16 round capacity despite being sighted for only 15 rounds. Try it, put some ammunition in that magazine and you'll see it holds 16.
Great review! Would love to see you compare the S&W MP 10mm, this XDM 10mm, and the new Sig P320 10mm for your next vid. (Also throw in the Glock 40 for 💩 and giggles too.)
Hello great video. I just won my Springfield XDM Elite 10mm at a gun bash but been wanting one for a while. Glad I didn't buy it already. Anyway I did just buy the Baldr pro r tactical light with green laser to put on it. Mine didn't come with the factory red dot. I saw you had a tactical light on yours and it fit in your holster. What holster are you using in this video? Or any suggestions for my gun/light combo? Thanks very much
Thank you! The holster being used is a Blackhawk Omnivore for the Streamlight TLR1 HL. I would recommend it for the gun and worked well as a holster on the range or you can get something specific for the gun from QVO Tactical or C and G Holsters.
If the 45 had a lil more heat 🔥 on it imo it would be the ideal round!...it's big but Slow for yrs i mean yrs i thought it was up there with 44mags until i finally bought a desert eaglel lol haven't owned a 45 in years even if i get a 1911 I'll get it in 9mm I'll still buy one but these days i just stick with 9mm...but would love to try one of these but think I'll rent one first before i buy...i carry a Xdm elite(23rds) so to me that's over kill unless your facing multiple attackers even then it's enough to do the job
This was a perfect video for me I'm making my decision I'm buying this pistol I have a Springfield Ronin MMA just like you the only difference on mine and yours is my last three digits are 007 yep lucky me but anyway watching this video has made my decision on to buy this or not thanks again like I said perfect video for me at this time.
Certainly not my intention to troll, just a question...How many others noticed right away that in the first group at five yards, was a SIX SHOT group but only FIVE HITS were counted? Excellent video, would like to see more shooting tips for the hot 10 mm.
I noticed that too. Also, on the final round when he had to change mags, he shot 3 rounds with the first mag, and 4 rounds with the 2nd for a total of 7. Nitpicking aside, very good drill😋 I want one of these pistols, I currently have a Glock 20 and 40 and the new Sig P320 XTen, now I want one of these for the collection.
Can it handle real 10 mm? Like underwood or the Norma loadings? I have a box of underwood that sends a 180 grain @ 1350 fps! They don’t sell them that hot anymore either, I think they’re 1300 fps now. My G20 handles it well. I put a heavier recoil spring and I think I need a stronger mag spring because the rounds, sometimes, can’t feed because the slide is so fast, at least that’s what I think. When I hit the lotto, I can buy a bunch and test the theory 😅. It’s good to see more 10 mm handguns coming out, it sure looks nicer than my G20😎
Well I didn't send you guys roses Lol. but how the heck are you. ! I really like my XD 40 Tactical it's a shooter. good video stuff ,you guys stay safe , and living the lifestyle 💪🇺🇸
Back Country, and could use this for bear in back country, so I am told, and I think the +p Buffalo Bore 255 gr in 45 may suffice, but in Grizzly country I think there is no subs for a .30 20 in rifle, just ask Grizzly Man (there is some YT video of his eaten leg, wow) to defend yourself.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I I did some digging, what I have is considered the compact, but within the same series. If I knew they were going to come out with this barrel length like I might have waited. Mine came out about 5 months ago…. Oh well I’ll just have to get the 4.5 like yours, 2 is better than one. Lol
That is tough, I generally like 1911s in 10mm. This shoots great in 10, comparable to the G20. Looking forward to trying out the Smjth and Wesson and Sig X10
Nice video! Fellow Ohioan. I’ve been considering getting a .40 full size but a bit curious about the 10mm pistols as well. Never shot a 10mm but have a Ruger GP100 .357 mag that I’m assuming the recoil is similar to? Have you had any instances with the XDM of accidentally hitting the mag release with it being active on both sides? Also, have you heard anything about problems with the M&P 10mm pistols (feed or longevity issues)? Or any recent QC issues with M&P’s in general? I’ve always been an M&P guy but haven’t bought in a number of years and have read a few different negative things.. Thanks!
There were quite a few issues with the M and P 10 mm from what we heard but they should be good now. No issues with the mag release on both sides. Recoil wise, it’s going to shoot like a 40 cal.
Whats your thoughts on these three 10mm? And you had a chance to shoot all three? Im looking to add a 10mm to my collection. And as my side arm back up when camping. Im looking at Springfield, Smith&Wesson 4.6 inch 10mm, and Rock island tac ultra fshc 16 round 10mm
Good vid. Subscribed. I have a concern about that grip safety. in that if adrenaline is dumping and an ideal grip is not achieved (for example , when unholstering in a bear charge), the gun will not fire. Can you run some tests to evaluate that?
No need to run test, I’ve shot quite few Xdm elites so far and not a single one has had an issue activating the grip safety. It’s very sensitive and poor grip or not I don’t see any issues. I have shot them one handed (left:/right), gloves on and with a soft grip and it always goes bang. I can’t say that with a 1911, on occasion with those and gloves I need to adjust my grip to activate the grip safety. I wouldn’t have any concerns if I were you! Thanks for watching! If we get more interest in a video like that, we will do a video just for that!
That’s more of a rifling issue. The Springfield uses standard rifling vs Gen 4 and less Glocks which have the polygonal. Not to mention you likely will not shoot enough hard cast hot loads through the barrel to make a difference
Yes you can. Certainly would recommend testing different loads if you are gonna use it for Bear protection possibly. Other wise any fmj rounds will be ideal for practice!
Hmmm, I was always told that Springfield was not going to make a 40 for this make and model much less a 10mm. And this is my first time ever seeing a 1911 lock back and not see the guide rod. It actually looked cool. However, it is something to consider now that a 10mm is out. I had the Xdm 40 and it was a excellent gun...wished I never had got rid of it, but now the 10mm is out maybe it was destiny. heh heh heh.
I'd rather have my grip safety, than a 1911 thumb safety, or glock non existent Safety. To each their own but with an XDM theres no need to think about disengaging the Safety or lack there of.
Exactly, I dont even feel it on my xd and I like the look of it and I know it would be hard to depress the grip safety and the trigger safety accidentally
In many years and thousands of round through 1911 and xdm Ive never had a problem with the grip safety and I have never met anyone that had problems with grip safety on either of them
The trigger is pretty good but i wouldn't put it up with the best, i think right now the canik rival and some Walters take the best stock out of the box trigger award right now. Especially the rival its amazing in my opinion
The power of the 10mm is known, but controllability and precision accuracy are an issue in regards to practical effectiveness in law enforcement, and also for civilian self-defense use. I rather hit accurately with a 9mm than spread out with a 10mm. Great video, as usual 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You are correct! I definitely prefer a 9mm for standard self defense purposes and it’s an easier round to Shoot as well, by quite a bit. Thanks for watching as always!
@@Fyoutube444 Yeah, "that's common occurrence in the city." I get it. You live up in the mountains in an isolated area, facing bear attacks on a regular basis.
Yes and no. Todays 10mm rounds are pretty mild compared to the 90s. Alot of loads are just a little more than a 40 s&w and some are even the same (as it is the same bullet). Recoil wise they feel very close to 40 s&w. Sure for bear defense and hunting they also have hot rounds like buffalo bore, underwood etc but for range ammo and self defense ammo it is very mild and manageable. I honestly don’t feel like I am any less accurate with my 10mms than my 9mm firearms.
@@czwarlord9243 Then what's the purpose of the 10mm? If the new ammo is replicating a milder caliber, like .40 or 9. It is not different than having a 44 Magnum revolver loaded with 44 Special ammo. With that said, you do you. So do I.
If I could make one observation and not be condescending. When you went to holster the gun at the 09:51 mark, the angle of the muzzle was right into the leg.
Not condescending, thanks for the input. I work and carry a gun professionally. Undoubtedly flagging happens, it’s an unfortunate part of the job. Trigger discipline is paramount.
The Belt is a Blue Alpha Gear Molle belt with inner EDC belt. Pouches are HSGI Tacos and the holster is a Blackhawk Omnivore on a low ride drop offset from Bladetech
@@HuntFishShootChannel Thanks - I’ve shot a lot of different ammo through my 3.8 in XDM-elite and found that the SIG V-crown 180 gr ammo gives prob the most felt recoil - still not too bad though. That rapid 5-shot exercise is somethin I gotta try!
The high ready or compressed ready is just a carry position and when shooting or practicing here, it can help a shooter practice building a foundation or grip to full presentation. Additionally it’s a very effective quick engagement carry position. It’s not a new one and has been around for a very long time. If you think of it, it can be safer and quicker than low ready.
I just got this pistol. The gun is ok, it is accurate, but mine has the worst trigger ive ever used. Not even close to my stock glock trigger. Its like turming the handle on a jack in the box waiting on something to happen. Someone will get a good deal on mine!
I don't own either, but I am shopping, so if someone has any input that would be great. For the same money the S&W M&P 10mm with the suppressor height sights already installed seems to be the better option, but I see some people having trouble with hot loads out of it. No need to buy a 10mm and shoot watered down loads in my opinion.
No real hands on knowledge with the 10mm M and P but I will say these shoot hotter loads without issues. With that being said they both are great platforms for the 10mm!
It blows my mind when I see this comment, I like the look of the grip safety because it reminds me of the 1911, and as far as feel, I don't even remember mine has a grip safety until someone says something about the SA having them. I actually prefer having them over having a glock with no safety outside of the trugger

Heck yeah! Thanks for sharing your input and experiences!
Thanks for sharing real world experience.
I maybe wrong but I think it’s a 16 + 1 , great review. I have the
3.8 elite ,, love it ,, maybe picking this one up very soon
You are correct, it is 16+1. I must’ve misspoke due to the indicators on the magazine stoping at 15.
@@HuntFishShootChannel awesome review,, I will be picking this up in the next few weeks and let you what I think 👍👍👍
Please do! Glad you liked itn
Especially a guy over 6 ft in the protection field too sometimes when I actually want to be 😆
My XDM elite has a threaded barrel and suppressed height iron sights which can coexist with the red dot
Great video! Thank you for your time and energy sir!
Thank you! We appreciate you watching!
Back in the day I had COLT DELTA ELITE 10 MM loved that gun sad that I sold it this was 30 years ago
That’s a great 10mm pistol!
Can of compressed air cleans the optics pretty good if you get dirt or debris around the edges.
Does work good
The trigger is pretty good, I feel like the pdp trigger is much better. Excellent video sir.
The PDP trigger is way better! Couldn’t agree more, thanks for watching!
Pdp in 10mm would be excellent. I think the xdm elite might be the next best thing though.
I just bought this exact gun today. I have the Glock 20 gen 4 but I have had issues with it. I can't wait to shoot it but 10mm ammo is insanely expensive!!
Yes it is unfortunately
@HuntFishShootChannel follow up. My Glock has had several issues but this XDM Elite hasn't had a single issue.
@elkhuntr2816 negligent discharges do not constitute a necessity. They merely display a lack of understanding and respect for the weapon system.
Thank you for the information, over sight on our part
Lol, I noticed that you could do that, but I thought I was "abusing" the magazine spring.
You can get 17 in the mag... its tight... and works fine. Probably not how I'd carry it
Very good video. Thank you for this. First I am going to start lifting weights again so I can also say a full size 10mm is easy to shoot. 🙃
Thank you!!
It doesn't seem like you have the biggest wrist yet your controlling it amazingly!
Thank you! It’s all about grip and structure!
nice gun and I really cannot believe they got rid of the .45 XDs, I was going to buy one, but ...,
Xdm 10mm In 4.5inch is my EDC i carry underwood xtreame defender rounds
Good option!
Great review. Would love for you to get your hands on a _Girsan MC9 Match_ (MC9T) or the _SAR-109T_ for a future review.
I would be interested in those as well! We will see what we can do!
Great review! Would love to see you compare the S&W MP 10mm, this XDM 10mm, and the new Sig P320 10mm for your next vid. (Also throw in the Glock 40 for 💩 and giggles too.)
Lots of good options! Don’t think you could go wrong with any of them!
I have the 3.8 version and want this but holding off to see if the new Sig 10mm drops soon.
It just dropped! We are gonna try and get one and the S and W 10mm to do a comparison!
@@HuntFishShootChannel I got one of the Sig 10mm and love it. I posted a Size comparison of it to my other handguns to my channel.
I Love it, but say listen, I couldn't help to notice the 2A shirt your wearing, where you get that too, I like it!!!!
The Hodge Twins. it’s one of my favorites! Gotta show the support!
Great video Sir! 👌🏻
Thanks Dan!!!
Very true!
HS Produkt makes the best firearms.
Nice buzzer.
That my shot time ain’t got no batteries mode.
Good! Thank you for watching!
Stuck on both the XDM and Ronin 10 mm any suggestions on which one?
just bought mine. the grip is way more slippery than it looks. immediately called talon grips
They are not the grippiest and definitely one of the areas they lack.
That’s a CLEANNNN hodgetwins tshirt you have sir😎😎😎
Hahahha thanks for noticing! Love their stuff!
I noticed the recoil jarred your body more on the 1911 than the xdm.
Jarred? Not quite but remember polymer will absorb recoil impulse better than steel.
How does it handle hot loads like Underwood or Buffalo Bore? Standard spring in the regular XDM launches brass into the next county.
This does indeed launch the brass and the xdm elite compact 10mm handles those well, so I assume this is no different!
Springfield already had a full- size 10mm offering and discontinued it, then they come back with this one what are the differences??
It’s an elite model, so the trigger, slide grip, Magwell and magazines are all different
@@HuntFishShootChannelno no the only difference is one is competition 5.25 in barrel with adjustable fiber optic sights.
Certainly not my intention to troll, just a question...How many others noticed right away that in the first group at five yards, was a SIX SHOT group but only FIVE HITS were counted?
Excellent video, would like to see more shooting tips for the hot 10 mm.
Super sleuth of the day 😂 I thought it was only 5 too, maybe just that speedy.
@@conanlive3784 HA! Same here. Like them all but roll with XDM for backcountry. It's just a personal preference.
Will it cycle with 40 SW ammo? I have a Glock 20...it will. Glock triggers annoy me.
I haven’t tried shooting it with 40
Yes it will
Can it handle real 10 mm? Like underwood or the Norma loadings? I have a box of underwood that sends a 180 grain @ 1350 fps! They don’t sell them that hot anymore either, I think they’re 1300 fps now. My G20 handles it well. I put a heavier recoil spring and I think I need a stronger mag spring because the rounds, sometimes, can’t feed because the slide is so fast, at least that’s what I think. When I hit the lotto, I can buy a bunch and test the theory 😅. It’s good to see more 10 mm handguns coming out, it sure looks nicer than my G20😎
Yes it will handle those types of loads really well!
Yes it handles them and I have the same issue as you with glock 10mms failure to feed hot ammo. My Springfield eats everything.
Well I didn't send you guys roses Lol. but how the heck are you. ! I really like my XD 40 Tactical it's a shooter. good video stuff ,you guys stay safe , and living the lifestyle 💪🇺🇸
Thanks for watching Wayne! We have missed you!!! Glad you liked it!
What kind of eye protection do you use if you don't mind me asking?
Gatorz is all I wear! The code HFS15 will save you a few bucks too
Back Country, and could use this for bear in back country, so I am told, and I think the +p Buffalo Bore 255 gr in 45 may suffice, but in Grizzly country I think there is no subs for a .30 20 in rifle, just ask Grizzly Man (there is some YT video of his eaten leg, wow) to defend yourself.
I got the 3.8 elite. Way more reliable than my glock 20s. Selling my glock 10mms way too many issues to trust in grizzly country.
Never had issues myself but you carry what you can trust!!
This is one of the older series. The new one that I have is a 3.8 inch barrel
Actually this is only like 2-3 weeks old. This is their latest release.
Lol
Good idea!
Great Review . I love Your Channel. Which 10 mm gun is Your favorite to shoot?
That is tough, I generally like 1911s in 10mm. This shoots great in 10, comparable to the G20. Looking forward to trying out the Smjth and Wesson and Sig X10
What holster are you using in this video?
Blackhawk Omnivore!
Great review!👊 I just might buy this XDM.
-New Sub 👍
Awesome! Thanks for the sub!
Just going to ignore the extra round in the 5-yd Dope Drill that sailed over the target's shoulder, eh!? Dope Drill fail!
Not going to ignore it. No worries. Good take away though 👍
Nice video, what holster are you using?
Blackhawk Omnivore
@@HuntFishShootChannel thanks
What holster are you using?
Blackhawk Omnivore
It’s a 16 round mag.
Great!
What holster is that? They are few and far between from what I can tell unless all the older XDM holsters fit this model
That’s the blackhawk omnivore
Can I fire hardcast with no issues?
Such as Buffalo bore? If so yes!
@@HuntFishShootChannel underwood too?
@juniormorgan5401 can’t speak on that I haven’t used it
Whats your thoughts on these three 10mm? And you had a chance to shoot all three? Im looking to add a 10mm to my collection. And as my side arm back up when camping. Im looking at Springfield, Smith&Wesson 4.6 inch 10mm, and Rock island tac ultra fshc 16 round 10mm
I have shot two of them, not the Tac ultra. What I can say is I prefer to shoot 10mm from a 1911 than anything else.
@HuntFishShootChannel ok. Looks like I'll be adding rock island tac ultra fshc 10mm to my collection
I have the Springfield XDm Elite 10mm and the Rock island tac ultra fshc 16 round 10mm. They are both great pistols. Get both.
Great video! can you provide the link to the holster? thanks!
The holster is a Blackhawk Omnivore for the Streamlight TLR1 HL
Can anybody tell me what holster he has?
Blackhawk Omnivore
Good vid.
I have that pistol in 10 mm love it
Heck yeah!
Would you be doing a video on the M&p 10mm as well????
If we can pick one up we will! Would love to try one and the new Sig X Ten
Csn you shoot hard cast lead in this unlike glock 10mm guns?
That’s more of a rifling issue. The Springfield uses standard rifling vs Gen 4 and less Glocks which have the polygonal. Not to mention you likely will not shoot enough hard cast hot loads through the barrel to make a difference
@@HuntFishShootChannel so answer is yes i can through this gun? And as much as i can?
Yes you can. Certainly would recommend testing different loads if you are gonna use it for Bear protection possibly. Other wise any fmj rounds will be ideal for practice!
Which holster are you using that accommodates the light?
Blackhawk Omnivore!
Where did you get the holster for it?
It’s a Blackhawk Omnivore, it’s made to go based off the light in this case!
What Holster are you using for that? I've got the same gun but would love something that can handle a light and an optic.
It’s a Blackhawk Omnivore, it indexes off the Streamlight!
It shoots great! thanks for watching!
10 mm are gaining a lot of popularity right now. Sig is putting one out
I'd rather have my grip safety, than a 1911 thumb safety, or glock non existent Safety. To each their own but with an XDM theres no need to think about disengaging the Safety or lack there of.
You are right a lot of it is personal preference! Thanks for watching!
Oh easily Canik or Walther is killing it for striker fired triggers!
Good video. What holster are you running with your XDM - 10mm?
Would you recommend it?
Blackhawk Omnivore for the Streamlight TLr1
The power of the 10mm is known, but controllability and precision accuracy are an issue in regards to practical effectiveness in law enforcement, and also for civilian self-defense use. I rather hit accurately with a 9mm than spread out with a 10mm.
Great video, as usual 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You are correct! I definitely prefer a 9mm for standard self defense purposes and it’s an easier round to
Shoot as well, by quite a bit. Thanks for watching as always!
@@HuntFishShootChannel Particularly nowadays with the high performance design bullets in 9mm made by reputable ammo companies.
Keep it going!
Is the striker roll pin still an issue? Or over blown?
Seriously considering picking one up.
That’s overblown.
What kind of belt, pistol and magazine holsters are you using?
The Belt is a Blue Alpha Gear Molle belt with inner EDC belt. Pouches are HSGI Tacos and the holster is a Blackhawk Omnivore on a low ride drop offset from Bladetech
Not sure how different the elite line is from the old line. Is it worth selling my old one and purchasing the new one.
The trigger, slide serrations fully ambi controls, Magwell and base pad extension, sights and optic capabilities.
Hi - just wondering what 10 mm ammo you were firing...
It was a mix, but the ammo was federal FMJ, American Eagle FMJ and Winchester JHP.
For sure! Do it and test yourself!
Great video was thinking on getting this gun. What holster/belt rig where you wearing? Thanks!

Blackhawk Omnivore in the video, it index’s off of the TLR1 light I’m using.

Blackhawk Omnivore
How does it do with full power or "hot" 10mm ammo?

@@HuntFishShootChannel Really? It doesn't blow up like the Glock 20s or mags fall out and lots of failures like the M&p 2.0?
I never had any issues with my G20 and Buffalo bore stuff. Have shot plenty of hot loads out of the XDm 10mm compact as well!
@@HuntFishShootChannel Great. Thank you!
You are welcome!
I have to ask, does pulling that pistol back to your chest help you shoot at all or just look goofy. When did this trend start?
Are you talking about the high ready position? Or what specifically do you mean?
@@HuntFishShootChannel Is that what thats called, the high ready? Looks silly to me but I'm old school.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Also a step in recovering to the holster after firing .
Sure can
Best Factory trigger there is, but Powder River is a little better. Companies need to cease making triggers out of plastic.
These are plastic triggers on this. Thanks for watching!
I just got this pistol. The gun is ok, it is accurate, but mine has the worst trigger ive ever used. Not even close to my stock glock trigger. Its like turming the handle on a jack in the box waiting on something to happen. Someone will get a good deal on mine!
Yeah the triggers aren’t great. Definitely not the better of the striker fired ones. heck of an analogy tho!
Springer and Powder River Precision have nice upgrade kits for that trigger issue! Maybe some holiday sales too
I'd happily buy one if JHP's weren't so expensive. On top of that I'm a beginner.
Understandable
Dam even in the video i can hear that bark
i love 10mm
👍👍👍
Who has the best trigger on the market?
In a stock striker fired handgun, in my humble opinion, either Walther PDP or the Canik pistols.
You are right I've seen many videos about the m&p having issues with hot loads
it's a 16 round not 15.
You’re correct.
This Springfield looks really nice. I won an XD a while back. Sold it right away. Nothing wrong with a grip safety. I just can’t stand seeing them.
Understandable, they aren’t for everyone!
It blows my mind when I see this comment, I like the look of the grip safety because it reminds me of the 1911, and as far as feel, I don't even remember mine has a grip safety until someone says something about the SA having them. I actually prefer having them over having a glock with no safety outside of the trugger
On other hand what you eat? Yiu look very fit. Need food deas. I can see chest bones shoulder bones joints in myself portruding out little muscles un me
I’m on the sea food diet. I See food, I eat it! Hahah thank you. The gym on a regular occasion and a moderately healthy diet plus some donuts does the trick.
Would love to own one, but hearing too many horror stories now about the meta trigger breaking the pin in the hinge. Understand that it isn't a lot of them, but that trigger looks so thin.
Can’t say the trigger is any thinner than most the competition. I hadn’t heard of this issue, but now I’m curious!
Yeah under incredible stress it seems to break but I dont think average use would pose a threat. I'd probably swap out the trigger anyways.
