How can Doris Day, the late Princess Mother of Thailand, and a Thai insurance company combine to bring national attention to a very special school for disabled children? This video reduced me to a crumpled ball of tears within seconds. It's not the children, it's the adults at the end of the song. Chances that the kids will neither be pretty or handsome let alone rich. However they'll always be happy regardless. The parents must be filled with worry about their future. However their impact on people like me was priceless as we live in such a spoiled nation, Canada, and I have gained an enormous amount of respect from these children. I have crohn's and ulcerative colitis and have had cancer 6 times, i'm still here and am NO LONGER feeling sorry for myself. God Bless these children, learn from their smiles.

Well said, and not just the parents, but all the other _'adults'_ in the room. I like the frame focusing each of them individually, from the pianist, the cameraman, and etc. They are who they choose to be, whether out of passion or out of other circumstances.
And that frame zooming into the sky. That was magical!

This video's absolutely beautiful.
While a lot of people would try to argue (not sure why), but these children each have conditions that place a harness on their lives. Whether it's the inability to walk, or the inability to speak.
To see these children, with such difficulties, being so happy to sing.. Well, that just makes my day.
They say smiles are contagious, and this is absolutely spot on. While I don't have a belief in a god, I do hope these kids get everything they can ask for in life.

When camera pan to cloudy sky, my tear just flowing. Children sing and smile innocently about unseen future, while adults know too well that it is a cloudy and rainy day ahead.
How could 13 people dislike this? I want to take every one of these children home and love them forever........Buddha bless all of them and their families and all people of Thailand.
some people are complaining about having no shoes, new clothes and some are not thankful about who they are while some people have no legs and some are wearing the same clothes everyday dying in hospital and embrace life fully. This hit me really hard

Well, that made me cry and think at the same time. I, who feel so sorry for myself if I don't have enough to go to the theatre....but then see these kids, all handicapped....and smiling and singing. Happily. Put me in my place, immediately.

first time I watch and heard this was 8 years ago at local tv station, I don't know the lyrics, I don't understand at the song meaning. But I really loved this and always singing it.
