@@gewglesuxI’m in Pennsylvania. I have the 28, 35, and 50 Summilux-m, but I will be using those mainly on the my M11 since I don’t think I need that much resolving power on the MP. I will try out my 28 Summaron and 35 Steel Rim reissue on my MP to get that vintage look on film. And they are smaller/lighter, and the silver lens on black body looks cool.
Nice!! NY here. Normally the MP is sold out everywhere. I went down to the leica DC shop. and got mine. after searching for one. I have not given up on digital as i still have a Nikon kit and a Nikon. F3T. How do you like your Q3? My "qwins". get a good amount of use. The M11 is on my Radar but i think i might wait to see what replaces it.@@sc1
The Leica MP is a fully manual film camera and does not have a sensor. The image changes depending on the type of film and lens used. It can’t be compared to the Fuji x100vi
@@sc1 you’ll be delightful pleased with monochrome digital files. Now that you have 28mm lux you can slap that on the M11 trade the Q3 and get the M11 mono.
@@xiiiconcepts Giving up the Q3 sounds like blasphemy right now. I not crazy about B&W and haven't understood the appeal of a dedicated monochrome body yet. But maybe I will end up there anyway. I will try out B&W film and digital conversion for now.
My friend, after owning half Leica store while wearing a Rolex, do you really mind the costs of film developing? Hehe. I own an MP and still watching your video. If you haven’t yet, try the first Q, you will be blown by its colors. Hope you still shoot film though. Nice work

I got my MP on Saturday it's such a lovely camera and I just started shooting film a few weeks ago.

Congrats .Black paint always looks good. I have a BP M4 from `69. I`m sure that you will enjoy the MP.
The black paint looks Great! And the body is smaller than the M11, so it can be nice and compact with a smaller lens.

i have a Q2M it's a great camera.. There's a big difference. I didn't believe it between shooting a dedicated MONO and a color machine

Do people then get films developed, scanned and process in LR ?
Some people do, or some people just order prints, or some people develop the film at home by themselves.

the paint will wear off on the lever in maybe 3-4 weeks :D
it's not durable at all.
No worries, I’ve been using this for 4 weeks, nothing has worn off on the lever.
