My four year old will sit and watch anything claypool related. Of course the desaturating seven videos. I wish my dad would have listened to primus with me when i was young... or maybe not such a good idea. Also, that is the one and only badass xylophonist ever
@@ibangwaytoomuchofthat660 Is xylophonist really a class of musicianship? It kinda makes sense, but I've never heard it used previously, nor have any idea how to pronounce it. Perhaps a bonesman? I particularly like his work on ... 'Please Don't Take the Ladder Away'.
He really is the most versatile musicians and bassists of my time. Never disappoints and I have been to every show he's done in Western Australia and each as unique and entertaining as the next
Les has always surrounded himself with professional, but eccentric musicians. Look at Buckethead & That One Guy ... I love how freaky fast that xylophone player is.

What a fucking kook; I love it. I was fortunate enough to see the show on this tour in New Orleans when Les and the Fungi played in the hull of a riverboat as it cruised down the murky, choppy Mississippi. Definitely one of the most surreal experiences I've had. Thank you for posting this very nice edit with great quality. Much appreciated. P.S. - 37:00 = definitely a scary moment when Les is literally looking you in the eye because he knows that you're filming the entire thing...
+Davor Bradara You should check out the Mike Dillon band. He does some really far out stuff with the vibraphone. He has an electric one that he plays with distortion.
Then about 1/2 way through red state girl I barfed while I was trying to use the cat as an invisible bass, he scratched me, then due to the awesomeness of this performance, passed out and woke at the start of southbound pachyderm, then decided if I don't see them play soon ill have to check into the rubber room for a bit of a while I'd say. Where the fuck is my cat? Les for president of the universe
Les Clay pool and friends have explored several visual ways of expressing the music with several different bands, but it's always surreal and somehow comic. I think it's cool he chose to hang those banners of those blown-up drawings. If you get a chance to see some HD photos of those, they're incredible.
There's not a movie but check out another performance by primus called Desaturating Seven if you haven't already it goes along to a book...dont give up now comrade said yellow just think of the bright colors up ahead...the valley of the rainbow.....
les has had more bands than anyone else i follow. where does he find people to play his uncatagorisable music? I would jump at an opportunity like this.
Mike Dillon on the vibraphones. Check out his 8,274 bands: Mike Dillon Band, Hairy Apes BMX, Critters Buggin', ALL the incarnations of Les' bands (including the Fungi Ensemble's Chocolate Factory album/shows here on youtube), BIlly Goat, Malachy Papers, Ten Hands... Dude's incredible.

There should be quirky movie to go with the characters that the band members represent. The music would make it a masterpiece.
