i bought this and i have a warning: it stains quite a bit and tastes really bad. it’s really pretty though!
I have this too and it doesn't smell or "taste" bad. But it does stain which I like tbh..you just have to apply carefully that's it.

So I thought it would show some difference within the certain level.

I'm no scientist, but I don't think this reacts to ph levels in the skin. From my very basic knowledge ph level tests show the acidity or alkaline nature of liquids, so the only thing it should react to is the oil and sweat your skin secretes which wouldn't really be out of the neutral 7 anyway. This most likely just works when it comes into contact with body temperature, creating a chemical reaction that causes the change in colour. But, like I said, I am in no way a scientist and didn't even take a GCSE for the subject.

I have this, the smell is really good but it gets in your mouth and tastes bad, also you cant tell if your applying too much and it stains, my lips were bright pink (ugly bright pink) for a week, you just gotta be careful really

A long time ago my got me this color changing lipstick when I was like seven or something, and it goes to purple to dark pink, and I'm pretty sure she either got it from Walmart during Halloween or dollar tree, but I think she got it from dollar tree.

It doesn’t adjust to your Ph level,why does everyone think that! Basically everyones ph is roughly the same and the way these colour changing lip/makeup products work is that they use a colourless,weak,acidic pigment that when comes in contact with your skin will turn pink.The colour it becomes after applying will be the same for everyone it just looks different because of someones skin tone.
