My kids and I watched this video so often that I got each of them their own copy of the DVD when they moved out in the mid to late 2000's. They are treasured, and enjoyed with my granddaughters and the many friends my kids have made along the way.
When they finished the faster faster version my hands started clapping on their own. It feels so silly when you're sitting in front of a computer at midnight.
I did this show as theater in the park. Quite different scriptwise - love the changes in this one- and of course quite different in setting. Great show guys!
This is my school spring drama, but we're doing with a cast of 9 instead of 3. I'm playing Tybalt, Friar, Rapist, Duke, Antony, Henry VIII, Bernardo, and Claudius.
Yeah I saw a diff version too down in Long Beach where during the fight scene they did it in slo mo just like the shooting & fighting scenes in the Matrix
@MrThinkagain1 you should see their Romeo and juliet one if you haven't, which is also on UA-cam, and the complete world of sports(abridged) I saw live and was really good, but sadly is not on UA-cam
LMAO!!!! XXD i luv the part, when they're doing it backwards, and he throws the wig and it lands on Adams head... lol i never thought anyone could make me interested in shakespere, but they just proved me wrong :))
Im playing Hamlet in this play right now. (its a school performance) and i came here to try and see if this would help me memorize the backwards bits. all i could do is laugh
High school students from another school did this at a thespian convention for the entire state and it was the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen, that was in 2006! It took me FOREVER to figure out what it was! This was for sure the entire performance - although I think the live high schoolers were better than these guys which says a lot but it’s true cause they were super talent.
When they were doing it backwards, he said to listen for the satanic messages. Well, somewhere in there, I heard Adam say "Frank Sinatra is God".................does that count?
@nitronic12 Frank Sinatra is one of the most famous jazz singers of all time. I have a feeling that the actors are big fans of Sinatra, and therefore calling him God is a reference to their love of his music. Some of his most famous songs, such as "I've Got the World on a String", are often used as part of pop culture.
It is I, Omelette, The Cheese Danish! Oh, yeah, be sure to listen for satanic messages. Frank Sinatra is God! Omg, I just about peed my pants laughing! I have the DVD and got my friends to watch it too; now they can't stop talking about it! I LOVE these guys! They rock!

Lolol the reverse drowning!!!! And the perfect throw of the wig on to Adam’s head Lolol these guys are comedy wizards
I love how the show just devolves into madness in the last 30 minutes! GO RSC!
Oh I watched this YEARS ago on a school trip. It was amazing, and just as I remembered it!!
I did this show as theater in the park. Quite different scriptwise - love the changes in this one- and of course quite different in setting. Great show guys!
The part where Ophelia gets drowned backwards is so hilarious the sprite I was drinking at the time spurted through my nose onto the screen
"Be sure to listen for the satanic messages.."
"Frank Sinatra is God!"
Hahaha
Best line in all of RSC: "Be sure to listen for the Satanic messages!"
I never got that joke until now!
This is my school spring drama, but we're doing with a cast of 9 instead of 3. I'm playing Tybalt, Friar, Rapist, Duke, Antony, Henry VIII, Bernardo, and Claudius.
Whenever Adam says "there's some young children here tonight", I want to say "kind of too late for worrying about that..."
Saw this a few years ago in theater class. Absolute favorite!
Adam spitting out the water from which he "drowned" as Ophelia. Haha, funny!!!!
First watched this in one of my English classes in high school. Still hilarious even 5-6 years later xD

Is it just me or does it seem like that the people in the front seats keep changing to different people during Halmet scenes.
Doing the backwards thing was cool
When they were doing it backwards, he said to listen for the satanic messages.
Well, somewhere in there, I heard Adam say "Frank Sinatra is God".................does that count?
