Doesn't stop me from riding, but i want people to be aware that vehicles that are basically just you riding an engine can be very dangerous and can kill you so fast you didn't even comprehend it before it happened.

Devastating to watch this after Ken's death. Don't even follow the sport, but Ken's larger than life personality and his fantastic team have left a deep impression on me. Sending prayers and condolences to his family, colleagues, friends, and fans from Stockholm.
@your local idiot He made it to 55 years old and enjoyed every second. I'd say that's a life well lived. I would like to think i would want to live an action-packed life like him and choose to pass at 55 rather than living a boring life to 80 or 90. But as you age, you usually value family more than anything. Legends never die.
I rarely let a celebrity death affect me, but Ken was more than a celebrity. He was a legend, an inspiration, an icon, and seemingly just the nicest guy you could meet. While I am bummed we all lost Ken, I am grateful to have witnessed his time here on this planet and the impact he made on us all. RIP KB43.
RIP Ken. You made my childhood sweeter, and I am still nostalgic to this day about some of those moments I spent discovering your amazing performances. You were also an impressive human being, passionate and fully dedicated to your sport and style. Sadly not all sports protect their driver as well as professional rally. Your days ended doing a sport you love, hopefully it can help you go in peace.

Ken was so good at describing the experience and the visual experience is really incredible when paired with the comments from Ken and Alex. Theres no replacing Ken, but I think you guys should continue this with Travis, and especially with Lia and Lucy. I would really like to see Lia's pregression in the sport!
That’s what a team is all about!! They all share the blame. The highs and lows. Peaks and valleys. Victory’s and defeats. Competitive sports is fall off the horse-get up dust yourself off-lick your wounds and go seek victory until you get it. Sometimes at great cost! You must push thru the defeats until you see the victory ahead and Ken can surely do that!! Some days are diamonds-Some days are stones! RIP John Denver. 😟

After Ken's passing, and seeing how his daughter Lia is refining her driving skills here. I really hope she takes after her dad and gets into rally. She's already an amazing driver!
She couldn't be in a better spot honestly. She's young, she's got the team there already, she knows people and they know her. She could potentially be the first female WRC champion if she's determined and talented enough.
Damn, what an absolutely EXCELLENT documentary about an insane year. Very well done, the driving and team effort as well as the presentation in this video! My heartfelt condolences to his family, his friends, his team and everyone affected by his way too early death. His words and attitude will live on in the people he inspired. Just in this documentary, when he said you sometimes win a lot more in a failure than in a win - it stuck with me since.

My opinion is milder than the other commenter... It is great that it inspired you. This is awesome. But don't forget that on the safety side a project car you work on yourself/at a small scale is nothing like a car made for rally. Have a blast hooning on closed roads, but be aware that you put your life on the line, more so than pro drivers with more financial support.
Yeah listen to these folks. Spend as much as you can on safety shit. It's way more important than the go fast stuff. Rolled a car, broke my t10 and T11 vertebrae. I'm lucky I'm alive, and I'm even more lucky I can still walk.

It's quite tragic that we've lost 2 legends in less than a week who not only changed their sports respectively but change lives. May both Ken and Pele rest in peace and may their families have my condolences
Damn yes reminds me of Australia losing two legends in 7 days also. Steve Erwin who whole world should know.

I'd wanna die young and live hard like him. Definitely too early though
RIP KB43.
