Yes I agree. I think they'd be good for classes - easy enough for beginners, precision not needed, but absolutely beautiful! The tricky part might be doing the small dots, but you could show them how. And you could use any shape, the first time I did it was on a butterfly and even that turned out neat.
thanks for this! i always thought you had to have a thicker consistency for the border but glad to know i can use flood consistency that id use to fill the cookie!
Which bags do you use to package your cookies!? All the one's I've used leave noticeable finger prints as I'm packaging my cookies. I hate when my customers see finger prints! 😭
I know what you mean, it's hard not to leave fingerprints with all that butter in the cookies. I order my bags off of Amazon and they are NOT fingerprint proof. I try not to handle the front of the bag, just touch on the top and sides if possible, especially the top because I usually end up cutting off the top inch. Also, once you get all the cookies in the bag, you could wash hands or switch to new gloves so you don't have greasy fingers for the next step of sealing the bags.
Your voice is so soothing. Thank you for the marvelous tutorial!!
Thank you, very kind comment!
Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm thinking this would be a good cookie for one of my classes! Kids' classes, too!

Is that navy blue or royal blue?
I would say royal blue. Bright enough to stand out against the black icing.
How do you make the cookies? like what's the recipe?
Ahh, trade secret at this point. But not to worry, there are lots of good videos on YT of sugar cookies!!
