Last time we had this kind of video was in 2014 after the Monaco GP. It focused on the talk between Hamilton and his race engineer when they were thinking of boxing.

Daan Kaya Not really. This race was bungled as was the Monaco race where he finished 3rd after leading comfortably. He still may have retired in this race but with a lead he might well have been able to finish and not stress the car.
Also, the German Grand Prix last year where the wrong choice of tyres was made and he scraped a 9th place.
The 2014 Hungarian GP could have been won with the right call, having started from the back of the grid.
On a slightly different note, the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix with the headrest issue was another team error.

For all the people calling F1 boring , this is how you follow a race ! These kind of story's happen every race, but I guess a lot of people are only waiting for crashes/sensation and don't understand the strategy game.

Unlike the *crazy race* in Baku and the unexpected retirements of Mercedes in Austria, everyone knew who was going to win in Silverstone after the first corner.
British GP was flawless and nothing special. So it's unlikely

They were always so far ahead they did the same thing multiple times in other races if KLewis couldn't win the power was suddenly 'lost'. Just to spare their engines., pretty smart lol!

I am missing the tyre management Max displayed, everyone needed to make an extra pitstop due to blistering. But Max kept the power down in certain corners, which kept the tyres cool enough to prevent blister forming.

and this is what i don't like about lewis. when something goes wrong he doesn't play the team game. I thought james admitted his misjudjement just once but it seem he had said that twice. and after that he said it for the first time, i think it's not fair to complain again.
i understand that it all happen in the heat of the moment, but these guys are special. they train to have the mind set which does its best under pressure. i respect him as a super talented driver, maybe even at the level of alonso but this is the reason he is not my favourite.
I agree completely. Hamilton is one of the best ever, but I've always had a hard time rooting for him because he's such a whiner when things don't go his way. Mercedes is hands down the best team in the pit lane, both in building a car, and creating winning race strategies, but on the few times they screw up like this, instead of being a man and just getting on with it, Lewis pisses and moans. Another example of how he is a whiner, was Canada 2019. Vettel's penalty for re-entering the track in an unsafe manner was very debatable. Many old school drivers felt that it was just hard racing, and Vettel shouldn't have been penalized. What bothered me about Lewis though, was the instant it happened, he was on the radio crying for a penalty instead of just keeping up the pressure and trying to pass him on the track. That's not how I'd want to win a race, and I have a hard time rooting for someone who does want to win that way.

At the end 4:17 just unbelievable to see and hear Lewis just throwing the team under the bus. Like sure even if there is validity to it, just two scapegoat things "bad calls and reliability" just completely implicitly calling out the team strategists and the engineers/mechanics of his still unbelievable car.
