1:21 My mother went CRAZY when they returned. Mosh was an old high school friend of hers, and she was so happy to see the real life Charles Warrington on TV again
This video just proves that Smackdown 2016 was a super highlight in that era of the WWE. Also just shows how stacked the SD tag division was. Hate them or love them you gotta admit the Headbangers and the Spirit Squad was a nice addition in 2016. It also showed how Vince cared about the tag team division somewhat.
Mabel made a then one-off return in June 1998 (on the 30th, taped for the Jul. 6th RAW) to challenge Ken Shamrock. Pairing him against Shamrock was allegedly as punishment for hurting people. Taker has also stated that he asked to have Mabel in the Ministry so Mabel could not hurt him again.
The Outlaws last appearance of that run was the WrestleMania squash loss with Corporate Kane to The Shield; Billy suffered some kind of legit internal injury to his throat and left TV to be a trainer as Road Dogg went back to the office, and Kane put the mask and wig back on to feud with Bryan...
Everybody's opinion wasn't great on Nia by the time she was gone. When she came back, the same people weren't exactly excited about it. She's turned around a lot of people's opinions of her since then.
While yes Asuka was losing a lot she also won a lot. In fact she got a better push than Nakamura and Finn Bálor. Also the AEW women's division is just bad I know it's sad but it's true. Sure there's some good things but it's pretty bad and while Toni Storm has done great in AEW. She also had some good things in the WWE. But her being great in AEW doesn't throw away the fact that TM barely puts his women on the shows.
@@zanethind The only bad thing that happened in AEW woman's division was Jamie Hayter almost ending her own career at Double or Nothing by pulling a Jeff Hardy 2011 by showing up despite being told not to show up.

Are we really gonna pretend Slater and Rhyno didn’t get over when they won the tag team titles?
@@daylanberry7955 exactly they were crazy over and a fun team as well

They didn't even have their Attitude theme music; it wasn't even a "Headbanging" track...
@tomseville2345 rip I didn't even notice

The Headbangers were the best tag team of the Attitude Era.
Just followed you on bluesky champ!
I love the Headbangers…wish they treated them better
Jake Robert's in 96 only to get his @$$ whopped at Kotr and leading to Austin 3:16 !!
I totally forgot about the head bangers 2016 run
They came around the same time as the Spirit Squad
@ yeah I forgot about it until this video but wwe tried to bring back a bunch of people when smackdown went live and the roster was split again
@FFA441 yeah
@@zanethind It was to make the numbers in the SD Tag Title Tournament won by Heath and Rhyno...
@@tomseville2345 yeah although they they already had a pretty good amount of tag teams
Drew won in front of millions of people watching at home .

You may want to look up the definition of “genius”
Nia Botch in the thumbnail. Nothing genius about that return. It is indeed dumb.
Real mature 🙄

I’ve been a Nia Jax fan her whole run. Glad to see her prove all those fatphobic people wrong
Asuka should''be quit WWE like Toni Storm and went to AEW or TNA. She is a jobber 6 years later.
Jobbers don't win the world title multiple times.

Why does Simon talk like that?
It's narration. He's supposed to talk with character and charisma.
He's British.
