Megalovania originates in the Earthbound Halloween Hack, a romhack/mod of Earthbound made by Toby Fox; this gives Netherrack Nightmares access to the original form of it.
Then, seeing as Painful Dreamers just pulled Mother: Cognitive Dissonance, an RPGMaker fangame... There's a funny thing about its ost: It has a fanmade arrangement of Megalovania which was given official permission by Toby.
In other words, this mashup right here gives justification for both of them pulling Megalovania and I PRAY this is what happens, it'd be peak.
