having just casted my vote, i'll share here why i voted for painful dreamers;
I'm probably a little biased, yume nikki and weird indie rpgmaker games have been a foundational cornerstone to my life since adolescence but with that in mind, i feel like the potential going forward is just incredible.
until this current round i find that they hadn't really found their shine yet. but with nowhere train, and still waking up at 3 am now it's pretty firmly solidified to me, that i believe these could be endgame contestants.
neatherrack has an *interesting* repertoire to be sure, but something I have personally noticed already is a somewhat, *samey-ness* to their output. tending either towards corny fallen kingdom esque, minecraft MV parody songs, and c418 ambient mixes. which have a place, and are by no means terrible in their own right especially with some of the use this tournament provides. but even with that said I Can't envision a way that they go much further on anything other than the good graces of being minecraft themed in general.

Expected a creepy type of music with these two cause Creepypasta Minecraft music and Horror RPGmaker titles, but this first one is a pleasant surprise. I know the rest of the duel tracks isn't going to be like this tomorrow tho... 😐. Little BigPlanet pull is crazy tho... Go! Dreamers!
This song has made me even more conflicted, because I’m really glad to see other side here but also Painful dreamers make up a majority of this track and are why it’s so good.
