This yellow background is a vibe 👏🏾 Also, I watched One Love earlier this week and I actually liked it, I can’t lie… Patois and accents were a bit rough sometimes, but I learned a lot about the political side and how Bob tried to bring people together. I liked how they kept it quite light-hearted too. Proud of the family for piecing this together and proud of my culture fr 🇯🇲🤎🌟
I’m shocked Fred didn’t like the Vince Staples show. Thought that would be his bag as it had hidden references: like the old man at the barbecue, that was OJ Simpson and his white bronco etc. Overall it felt like Atlanta but a Vince Staples episode. Kinda how Swarm is an extension of Atlanta. I like this style of comedy.
It’s true female action leads are always doing this Vogue Runway Model camera shot after the deadest fight scene. And somehow, they can beat everyone up. You would think after Kill Bill 10/10 performance, they would build female action leads off that.
Anyways - I recommend that new animation on Disney Plus Iwajú. It’s based on this new technology in Nigeria and some Oga trying to access it to exploit the wealthy. Why should we watch it? They were casually eating Amala in one episode. AMALA IN DISNEY!!!!

To be brutally honest One Love Bob Marley movie was for people like M Dot R and Chet Hanks. Even though Rita Marley was involved they could have easily got Skip Marley to play his grandfather. Even the soundtrack yeah let's not even talk about that.

omg speaking of live-action Disney, please never watch the live action for Dumbo - it's a real disappointment. The elephant isn't as cute and the pink elephant scene 🙄it was done much better in the 40s! Absolutely dead in the live-action version. I mean, is it harsh to criticise the live-action on this, when there's only so much you can do in a live-action setting compared to animation? Perhaps - but still! If it can't be replicated, just don't bother mate.
I love your work guys, and I absolutely love the Things We Watched segment - I have such a blast getting to know new titles to see and stuff. The bob Marley film made me really appreciate the music, to know how much of his soul he put into his music and how he truly believed Reggae music is a reflection of God was beautiful and makes you listen to it with a different perspective, but other than that the movie was very bland. 😢 There was no action to keep the audience engaged.
