Tbh I found the kitchen kinda disappointing , the film felt flat and underdeveloped with a Unsatisfying ending IMO. The performances were strong tho especially the kid that played Benji and Kano (obviously)
I was surprised at how much I liked Backroad Gee in it. His performance felt so natural.

This video was so insightful, I genuinely paused halfway through the Griselda review and watched the whole 6 episodes before coming back. Now I plan to watch the Death's game show. Keep it up!
Unpopular opinion lol I really liked the kitchen, it was giving Orwell (dystopian) vibes, the limited dialogue played a purpose. Forcing my husband to watch it tomorrow 😂
@Elidah Great minds think alike, coz when I first watched it, I immediately thought of Orwell, and Zamyatin. I even commented about it's dystopian vibes in the live chat. It was a great film honestly. I will deffo watch the film again soon. 🔥

Ngl I watched the creator with no expectations just casually because I had nothing to wash and I enjoyed it, the ending could have been wayyy better but it was a cool little evening movie and denzel son a good actor so that helped

Kitchen had some great themes, but it didn't develop the characters well enough, and left mad plot holes. Would've rather they gave Kaluuya a series, so that he had the time properly develop the characters and story.

@@TheAlkebulanTrustI was waiting for something to happen for the whole film. The first interaction between the boy and Kano, you knew he was probably his dad. There was more or less nothing to the film other than it being futuristic
@@renss98the premise of the film was about gentrification. The father and son element was just an added storyline within the whole story. But I understand where you are coming from tho

GRISELDA WAS A SOAP OPERA. I CHOONED OUT AFTER EPISODE 3. A HARD WATCH AS I KNOW OF HER STORY THE LIMITED SERIES MADE THIS LOOK LIKE A SPOOF! VERY MUCH EASTENDERS WITH A COLUMBIAN TASTE. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.
