    Mr. Goodpliers, I think others will agree, these types of videos are more then welcome to your viewers. We like to know what you have so we can maybe buy parts or project car. Please if you have more cars, do another inventory video.

    Made earlier comment about my 78 Impala, then saw the Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Got one too. Mine's a 68 Galaxie Police Interceptor, originally based on the 390. All original, from a many years ago surplus auction. That thing still rips, it's a beast! 😆 " San Diego Police! Pull over!"
    A 79 Impala in the yard, another law enforcement car? My 78 and that 79 would be great girlfriend/boyfriend thing going on..

    My most prized car is my 78 Impala AroeCoupe 2 door. Base is 350/TH 350. I'm 3rd owner. Well maintained and taken care of in the past. Without boring ya with the details, it's set up for both drag and daily drive. Had it about 15 years now. Impala and Caprice parts still easy to find here in San Diego. I went totally sleeper build on it, factory look.

The males had large horns like a big horn sheep they would fight at times hitting each other’s heads together sometimes running between the cars they mess up tail lights but they’re all the dirt kinds of goats and sheep that are more docile !

At the salvage yard I work at we have used to have to use those old swinging sickle sticks like they used in that movie cool hand Luke between the cars but you have to be very careful you don’t damage the cars with the blade ! When they came out with those weedeaters that was the ticket we use up a lot of the line but it should’ve kept the yard clean !

    I hope the car community wakes up in this election.....because ALL of our gasoline powered cars and equipment are in danger of eventually being regulated off the road. You can't buy gas powered yard equipment in some places already. A much bigger "Cash for Clunkers" will be coming.

    • @mr.goodpliers6988
      @mr.goodpliers6988  4 місяці тому

      They didn't change much from a functional standpoint between 1967 & '68. Hidden wipers, slightly different dash configuration, some different sheetmetal & trim, and that's about it.
      The real difference for me is that the '67 has a bigger pool of people looking because a television show popularized them. There's a cult following which few other years and models have that specifically.
      Right now I hear from the guys that follow the tri-Five market, that the '55s are most desirable. Of course any year and model can be less desirable overall, but coveted by one person because they have a specific attachment to it

    The malaise era land yatchs are attaining some value because they are no longer made. The last panther body was rolled off the line in 2011 now a land yatch sedan or traditional American wagon is cool if your under a certain age it may seem weird it's street traffic.

      We have a 2004 Lincoln Town Car. It was definitely the end of an era. The chassis design and fuel tank placement go all the way back to the 1965 Ford/Mercury full size cars
