Nice looking 53 Chevy, my brother has had one for many years but his health has kept him from doing much on it. Sadly sitting and rotting away in his yard. BATMAN
No bad choices in this video. IMy favorite is the Dart convertible. Wonder why the Olds' price was dropped so much? I like it and the Buick also. Missed the Bentley, but got the other two. "Batman"
Like quite a few but then you got to that model a and even though that was never one of my favorites that one changed my mind. For some reason I really like that one. Great show but then you always have great ones. Thank you.
Beautiful vehicles Solon! The Dodge Dart is intriguing; didn't see many like that up here in Canada. That beautiful Packard is sure to deliver good value. Ask the man who owns one! 😁 The shoebox has got piiiiiiiipes! 🤩
Any type of Packard Solon. I try to work into my comments classic advertising slogans from the various auto manufacturers into my comments as a way to amuse myself. It was Packard's turn this time with "Ask the man who owns one." It's my idea of a little joke! (Some might argue VERY little.) Thank you Solon, for indulging me. May be more to come. 😉
Hi Solon. I like the 53 chevy tonight. Since you showed the sewing machine, I have an interesting fact. My distant relative Elias Howe patented and invented the first sewing machine. He also patented the automatic continous clothing connector. (Zipper) But let that go to develop the sewing machine. Someone else perfected that and ran with it.
All right ! # 251. on our way to # 500, another nice selection. The 1929 Model T and the '64 Dodge Dart ragtop are the real steals. Funny how a lot of the cars featured in this and other vids used to be what we thought were "Dad" cars, but appeal now... Love that 1950 Shoebox, but I'd want to rescue the 1955 Packard and ensure it wasn't hot-rodded....
The 54 Olds, 55 Packard, 53 Chevy, 31 Ford coupe, shoebox Ford, 50 Plymouth and for sure the 59 hardtop Plymouth. This is one of your best shows yet. BATMAN
One of those shows where I want them all! Closest I could get is a tie between the 55 Rivera and the Packard. Then again the 50 Plymouth is pretty sweet and of course the Dart ragtop is awesome and the... Great job Solon!
Solon like your taste in if you won the lottery you would buy a batmobile my choice also that car is a dream car just so cool Batman that bus was a tongue twister lol
The 1956 Chevy station wagon is a 210, not BelAir. The 1954 Oldsmobile would've had a 4-speed Hydramatic when built. The 1955 Packard has the Ultramatic transmission quadrant, with no quadrant for the advertised GM transmission. The 1953 Chevrolet is not a BelAir. The 1950 Plymouth reminds me of the first car I remember Mama buying - 1950 Dodge Coronet DeLuxe sedan.
Good catch on these, Jerry, and good info! Yeah, I don't have time to vet all the info in the seller's ads. It already requires about 24 hours of work time to create one video and get it out on time! Thanks for watching my friend!
@@Americanrodshop I know you have to say what you're supplied by the seller and I mean no disrespect with my comments. I lThere was a 1963 Series 75 advertised on Hemming's claiming to have been the car in which Mrs. Kennedy rode behind the President's casket. There was also another car advertised on Hemmings and then going to Mecum claiming to have been the car she and President Johnson used while in the White House. Both claims were bogus. Mrs. Kennedy used her family's Imperial Ghia while in the White House, which can be seen in footage of the funeral procession, and the 2nd car hadn't been built until after she left the White House. I lived in Washington during the Kennedy years near their Georgetown townhouse.
I’m retired and on a fixed income I can’t afford any of these. I just watch and dream. Thanks anyway. Ha ha I can’t even afford a barn to put them in ha ha ha just waiting to die happy holidays. I don’t even have anybody to spend holidays with. They’re all dead. I was the youngest of the family.💙🇺🇸 by the way, most of these cars, I have either rode in or have driven. ain’t that funny? my first car was a 1970 Chevelle SS 454. Yeah don’t have it anymore. I sold it to a guy and he wrapped it around a tree.
