@xan1242 It has a 50 or 60 FPS selector at boot, I didn't take it on video because the video would then be recorded at 50 fps instead of 60 after the selection was made.
The Geforce 210 is extremely low end, 2,3 Ghz will be barely enough except if that dual core is an i3-i5 (which I doubt). So in general, it will probably not run well.

@xan1242 Huh? I am controlling the resolution from PCSX2 and this was recorded in 2048x1792 internal resolution as the description clearly states. Whatever resolution in PAL or NTSC modes the game would use I am overriding them through PCSX2.

@dendonflo The graphics card will do fine but I don't think the processor will...the CPU hungry games will have major problems but I'd say give it a try especially with the new MTVU hack which will use your third core as well.

Is this using v-sync on or off? whenever i play with vsync the input lag is massive, but without it it suffers from stutter instead of it being smooth.
PCSX2 came from the original PCSX, which meant PSX on pc, but they ditched the development and went to PS2 emulation development, so they named it PCSX2 :P
how about using the enb series and the enhanced environment patch? the game will look more nicer i still have my copy of the ps2 version but i still play the pc version more using enb series,enhanced environment,hd texture,and hd movies because you can mod the game while in the consoles you can't.

If this is PAL, then it has to work at 50 fps, not at 60 fps, unless it is PAL60, but no game can work at PAL60 mode unless you forced it to with GS Mode Selector. Only game that screwed the PAL signal so far that I have seen is Yakuza, it works at NTSC50 mode.
someone help plzz I formatted my memory cards, but everytime I try to save in re4 I get a failure to save. sooo annoying. stuck and don't know what to do???
Try deleting the memory card files and let the emulator create new files. Then format them in bios (boot with no disc). Also make sure you use the latest SVN: pcsx2.net/download/development/svn.html

Hi PCSX2team so I have a problem with RE4 on pcsx2 DX11 Hardware my current version of pcsx2 is 5188 in Resident Evil 4 my sky is broken like its all black and it makes the map very dark and it doesn't look right can you help me? I only have DX11 and DX9 Hardware with this version it might be because im not using DX10 but wouldnt DX11 be the same but more updated lol if you can help me fix this that would be great I searched on google and got no results.

karadanianoI You should get this game on Steam. It looked way better than the PS2 and the original PC versions that the cutscenes are now rendered in real time and ability to change costumes in Mercenaries mode.
What is 'nothing'? You aren't even describing your problem. I suggest you make a thread in our support forum: forums.pcsx2.net but make sure to include all info like PCSX2 version,plugins PC specs etc
This game on PC was a very bad port, some HD textures patch were made after to resolv the issues, but i think even now with the PS3/xbox 360 hd versions, the PS2 version running on PCSX2 is better looking. Only issue i can't solve is the Vsync problems
Silly me! But the PS2 port was vastly inferior visually compared to RE4 on the Gamecube which is what I meant to refer too. The PC port by Ubisoft in 05?/08?/07? was atrocious!
Well the ps2 game wasn't actually rendered in 480p either. It took the gamecubes squished widescreen, and zoomed it in. The wii version is the same way. Try running it in 4:3, then use your tv to zoom it in. Won't notice a difference ;-)
to bad, I had to download PCSX2 cos the pc port keeps crashing every 20 minutes and is unplayable and unfixable if your using win 10, and no, my pc doesn't suck ass.
***** UHD is not only better than PS2/PC, but the best RE4 version out there as well. With simple mods you can get the exact same lighting as the Gamecube version and there is an extreme HD retexture coming next year. And of course 60 fps, 1080p and Mouse support.

Yes and yes. In fact I was using Windows 7 x64 and an Xbox360 controller when I recorded this.

Works fine here, maybe you changed some advanced GSdx settings? What revision is your GSdx plugin? You should try the latest r5330.

Yes that's correct, assuming you also have the BIOS from your PS2 console, which is required for PCSX2 to function

It's locked to 60 FPS, maybe you played the PAL version which would run at 50 FPS and would be noticeably slower

If you set it in the GSdx settings, it will render to whatever you chose (regardless of graphics card)
