This was beautiful, it gave me goosebumps and that voiceover was perfect. Thank you for doing this, it really captures how first love and how it feels like when it ends.
It was the first time. The first you fall and the first time you broke your heart but it is also the first you learn to fight for yourself to get back up from being bruise to being braver and wiser you. The first time you pick yourself up and building it again in a much stronger foundation that you gain from the pain. No pain, no gain therefore without the pain you're not who you are today. A much stronger,braver and wiser person!

Lost, confused, unreal and puppy thoughts are the words that made me regard myself with self deception, in one sense I asked "was I even in love in the first place." I sound dramatic. i know. #AB

I watched this when it first came out last year, but I came across it again tonight by chance -- a little more than a month since I broke up with my first love. Every word spoken in this video resonated in me and brought me to tears as I remembered the warm and bubbly memories and the many first-time experiences I had with him during the honeymoon phase. It reminded me of how, in spite of the pain of distance and feelings subsiding, sensing that it's coming to an end, the final conversation, and to now being almost strangers, I'm still so thankful for the experiences and this first love because of how much he's allowed me to grow, learn about myself and his own culture, and inspired me to reach for higher goals. I'm grateful for all the good and hard times, the adventures had and the pains shared together. Our relationship ended in the most ideal way with no hard feelings, mutual understanding, and wishing the best for each other. I still love him and wish for his happiness, but now want to focus on investing in myself and loving myself so that maybe when I can love again, I'll be ready, more mature, and the experience will be better. It takes time to process and move on, and I still miss the idea of him and those times, but time heals and we'll all be ok and better because the love existed. Thank you DanKhooProductions! ❤️

The truth is, even if you’ve convinced yourself that you’ve moved on from your first love, deep down inside your heart you’ll always feel something for them. Bc they were the first person you deeply ever cared about, the first person you ever gave your heart to completely. You’ll always have some sort of feeling for them. That’s just how a first love works. You’ll never forget them.

He may be your first love but you ain't his, and no matter how you see it relationships that end do hurt but the hurt that you experience from first love feels like you'll never love anyone like that again, that you'll never be able to love all the little things about someone the way you did with your first love. It seems as though first love makes you feel as though you can't love again. But then first love gives you lesson that makes you love better, first love makes you realize the things you could've done better. It breaks but also makes you. Goodbye first love.

I was going through my first heartbreak when i watched this for the very first time, and of course he was also my first love. It broke my heart to hear her speak so honestly, that everything she said was true, and all that she was going through in this short film i was coping with as well. I am now 19 and its been a journey of self healing to say the least. I am happy to say i am healed, and i am happy. Thank you again for such beautiful, relatable and moving content. ❤️

I don't normally comment on videos...but this is the exact story that I have witnessed with my sister. She truly fell in love for the first time...then it ended. After sometime she has found someone new. I'm glad this video shows the importance of how precious first loves can be, rather than 100% pain of falling out. Good video.

Ahh, no. This is so wrong. Love isn't a feeling, it's a commitment, it's putting someone else's needs/wants above your own. Love doesn't go away, because love is a decision. What you refer to as "love" is purely just chemicals and emotions.

This video has always had a very deep meaning to me, but coming back now, realizing that I lost my first love who was right in front of me, simply because it wouldn’t have worked out, is absolutely and utterly heartbreaking. You realize when it’s over, you realize when it won’t work out and you know in your heart why, and it sucks. It feels like I lost my best friend. I miss him so much.
I come back to this now realizing that I now have my true love, my absolute best friend and what I was feeling them was far from what I figured. Wow. The first love is definitely not your last, but I found the one.

Everyone has their first love . The earth is bigger than anything , meeting the right person who shares everything with you , accept your flaws and weakness and still willing to stay true to you , care about you after all the first times is very hard . There a lot of ruined relationships lately bcs people just change when they are comfortable with each other .

It's not about who you chose to love, it is about how you choose to love. Cherish the good times, respect your partner and his feelings. Even if the day starts to get routine, try to make the best out of it, don't just let the every-day-life take away the simple and beautiful things in life. Some people don't even want to make an effort to love someone, they think that love is there and will last forever which is not true. Learn to appreciate what you have.
