My nail salon uses that builder gel to “glue” on rhinestones!! And they never fall off! I know before you said you don’t do a lot of crazy things with your nails and don’t lose any gems but just wanted to tell ya :) love the turnout!

Fiberglass nails make me so uneasy. They look beautiful, but if they get in your lungs while taking it off you will hurt

i’m unfamiliar with fibre glass. what happens if you breathe it in?
Fiberglass is what you find in cigarettes filters and insulation in your house. If it touches your skin you can break out in a rash. The fiberglass gets embedded into your lungs and can cause bleeding. Please use a mask and cover your skin during filing and removal if possible file outside your workspace especially if your home has children. Honestly I Iike using silk wraps you will get the same results.
It’s a different kind of fiberglass the fiberglass that god on your nail is not the same kind you use for your house. It different
The one that's used for housing is a combination of material which contains fiberglass. I tried it one time because of the hype a couple of weeks ago. If you don't protect your skin it will pierces the skin and you'll need gorilla tape to remove, tweeters will not help. (personal experience) 😀😀😀 fyi I lost arm hair in the process too 😀😀😀 yes I used gloves

There’s also a gel one! It’s actually resin/thick nail glue but we’ll pretend it’s actually gel haha (just don’t dip the gel brush into the activator)

I applaud you for trying this stuff, I have that same lamp from wish, everytime I have it in the wall with my table lamp, my lamp goes out while curing the gel lol then once it's done the lamp pops back on lol

You should definitely try the clear Bulldog clips. Amazon has them, they come in colored clear plastic but this way you can leave the clip on while you cure.
You still can let the metal clips on the nail while you cure It.
Omg I was sooo scared for your nails when I seen the pinching tool!!! Yes you definitely should have did the 2nd coat. But i guess the lil pinchers did good 😳😊edit: I think the pinchers are for short nail. Yes you are doing it right with the tweezer tool.

Fiberglass nails need a few layers. After the initial wet layer and it’s cured another “wetting” coat is brushed on than a bead of gel is walked down the nail. You can flip your nail upside down to help level. With all of that being said, I’m impressed with your outcome. I know all the basics of gel but I have never dedicated the tome or effort to learn how to actually do a set. Good job!
Loving these ones 😍 always love how you do so many rhinestones! Gives me so much more confidence to just bling up my own nails when I do use stones. Such a simple design yet still such a pretty set 😍

Your nails look fabulous and thank you for sharing. You are not a professional I gather and everyday person who does nails at home due to cost of doing nails. I know people in the industry don’t like it cause they are losing business from people who do their own nails. Pinching tools or building the apex is so technical. Your nails before and after is such a change and look so pretty after. People will notice those nails. Good job ❤️

On your nails (except for the thumb), you should not use the whole fiberglass thingy. You can like cut half of them off the purple glued part, not on the length, but the amount of fibers, and use less on the 4 smaller fingers. That’s why they get quite heavy and you don’t really need the whole amount of fibers in the smaller nails. (Idk how to explain it better, sorry lol)

I could see 2-3 minutes in UV, clamp and cure with clamp on but that's usually clear clamps so the light gets through. In LED would be half the time
I have those same top coat and base coat but from wish. I find them very good as well. Didn't buy them in a kit. Just bought them separately when buying gel polish.

It's so weird for me to see fibre glass being used with gel....
When I trained like 15 years ago(eek) we learnt to do it with the resin etc, gel was only used with gel. Pretty amazing what can be done these days. Now I just do Acrylics and Gel polish mostly, and some polydips.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but the reason your nails are coming out unevenly pinched is because those binder clips are meant to be used with pinching rods that you put under the nail to create your c curve
This is really cool. I’ve seen other gel nails tutorials that use the clips, but they are clear plastic so the light from the lamp can get through, and you put them on halfway through curing.

They literally sent you binder clips lol they aren’t meant for nails which is why your nails are “pinching” funny.
We use these kind of clip on Brazil, and works fine. The problem is... Fiberglass nails need a lot of skill and knowledge. I'm a nail technician here and work with fiberglass. But I haven't learned it from a UA-cam video. She did good for someone that didn't study It.

Ur sugar is the only brand i buy on Wish, it's so nice and they've got lot of colours and special gels! I liked it very much btw!

Olivia Abrahamian just in case she doesn’t answer i like the kiss dip kit & ive never needed a drill for it just a basic nail file and it’s also really cheap
She has a drill linked in the video information section. I ordered one off amazon (the pink one)and it works just fine but you should gets some good bits. But usually for dip nails you can hand file. Because dip kits usually don’t get to thick(the nail I mean). But get a good hand file usually the ones in the kits are not to good!!!
The ones you can get at Walmart work just fine. And for a dip kit u can totally file with a hand file and I personally love the serendipity dip kit
My nails have been soooo much nicer since I got a drill. I don’t think you have to have one but it makes a big difference. Nail career education does a video on cheap drills you can get without a licence. I bought the makartt one on amazon and I love it so much!!!

You should try more polygel kits and test really cheap drills too

If I’m not mistaken you can also put the clips upside down. Like under the nail to help curve them more
I love these nails, but I really miss your extra and long nails!! They're so cute and so you! If you prefer shorter nails now, that's fine, but if you do them shorter because of us, please don't! Most of us love them really long on you 🦄

You have to have a thicker builder gel on nail before you have to start pinching them. The reason they are curving uneven it is because it is too thin.

Hi there👋🏽 new subbie here 👍🏽 I just purchased a similar kit to yours on Amazon but it has the fibreglass tip wraps instead but everything else included but no UV but I already have one and I cost me £12 (similar price to US dollars). Anyway I’m too scared to use those fibreglass strips you used as I’m heavy handed so I’ll probably mess it up that’s why I opted for wrap sheets🤗👍🏽💪🏾🇬🇧
