Unfortunately it is a working yard and is far to dangerous to have the public walking around.

Maintenance has never been an issue. Communication has for years. I quit using GO Transit in 2012, it wasn't worth the hassle anymore. Yeah, I know, stuff happens that's beyond the control of the folks who run GO, but it doesn't or shouldn't take 4 hours to get word to the riders who are stuck on a train, or waiting for a train... Nothing like finding out what went wrong on the nightly news as you're dozing off in bed, after a screwed-up day. But hey, hike those fares up again this year and tell us the same old thing - it's going to help GO Transit run on time !

Is the consist number the same as the fleet number? Like for example at 1:55 you can see the fleet number 2819 is that also the consist number?

no sir, the consist number is the train as a whole and the 2819 is the individual coach number

every coach will have a 4 digit number on it, currently a consist will have 12 coaches and all will have different 4 digit numbers.
