Not to say the other games are bad, the first three boost games was fun, but I just don't get that thrill of multiple characters in the future games anymore.

I think it's mainly due to it being very hard to come up with a logical reason for them to show up in a Sonic game. Look at Knuckles. People wanted to see him return more often and now Sonic Team has forgotten his role in guarding the Master Emerald. I think they just don't want all the other seemingly one time used characters ending up as another "Knuckles" type character.
Mike Anthony well technically in Chronicles there is one other Playable character whose Like Knuckles my girl Shade the Echdina Blaze is still Sonic Best Girl but Shade ain’t that far behind. But Ken Penders being the highly protective of his Echdina characters completely removed Shade from existence by suing Sega and BioWare and taking them to court where he won over Chronicles and Shade. What really Sucks cuz Shade actually was a good Sonic Character to come out around a few years after Sonic 06
I honestly think Blaze should get her own spin-off game like Shadow because she doesn't get enough Sonic series her background is far to short and she doesn't even have a proper theme. Don't get me wrong Vela-Nova is an awesome theme but most of the characters in the franchise have Theme SONGS with LYRICS. Somebody has to tell Sega that we need a Blaze the Cat game and trust me, They would LOOOVE the idea

She, Omega, Marine, Silver, Cream and Team Chaotix are the most underrated characters and they all need more screen time, and more plots roles in future Sonic video game content. Blaze hasn't been playable in so long since Sonic Rush, to Sonic '06 and through the M&S crossover games. Her old voice actresses were cool and i like how Laura Bailey takes over the role to voice her for the "new generation" voice cast of the Sonic characters. Laura Bailey also voices Lucina in the Fire Emblem series as well and I feel like Blaze, Silver and Marine could've been in Sonic Heroes, just like how Team Chaotix was in the game, their team name could be: Team Dimension, but she should really be included in the Sega Heroes mobile game.

Considering if 06 is canon, I like to consider that the Blaze present in this game is from an alternate reality where she failed to save her dimension in Sonic Rush or possibly because of Iblis. As such, how she exists and dies in Silver's time and manages to remain alive in the main timeline. The reason being of course, that they're two completely different people.

Considering if 06 is canon, I like to consider that the Blaze present in this game is from an alternate reality where she failed to save her dimension in Sonic Rush or possibly because of Iblis. As such, how she exists and dies in Silver's time and manages to remain alive in the main timeline. The reason being of course, that they're two completely different people.
Sonic rush is her cannon, thankfully. She has nothing to do with silver or 06.

Blaze is one of my favorite Sonic the Hedgehog characters after Tails, Silver, Wave, and Zeena. I do hope Sega makes a game focusing on her like they did with Shadow 17 years ago.🥺

Blaze the Cat 🐱 is my all time favorite female character in the Sonic universe since she first appeared in Sonic Rush on the DS and I loved her in both Sonic 06 with her best friend Silver the Hedgehog 🦔 and Sonic and the Black Knight as Sir Percival I hope she gets more recognition in future games and other media thank for sharing this great video highlighting my favorite fiery princess 👍💜
