It's named defamation, and if you falsely accuse a person to a public officer it would be slander felony.
Some folks are campaigning for her by saying "there's a difference between doing something against your will and doing it by choice"... however, she put a lot of emphasis on specifically disliking dressing sexually, that being free meant she could stream in a less exposed manner.
It's horrible to be abused in any way, shape or form, but she doesn't seem to have any real problem doing what she made the primary focus of her sympathy gathering vids.
I would side with those people making that argument if it wasn't for some glaring issues. For example, Amouranth implying money isn't important to her, and making the assertion that she wants to rebrand herself to distance herself from the old Amouranth. When people questioned her about rebranding and transitioning, she said transitioning is going to take a few months because she doesn't want to fire her current team right away until they are able to find new work due to their specialty of "adult content", yada yada. Giving the impression that she is serious about rebranding and getting away from adult content.
Fast forward over a year later, no rebranding, no transition, no acknowledgement, like she never said or implied she wanted to change. She played everyone.

The ones who are insisting there's a difference are pretty much saying 'I don't know how it's like during the aftermath of getting out of an abusive relationship' without actually saying they don't know how it's like. A couple of the things my abusive ex-husband loved was getting blackout drunk and having parties where everyone gets sloppy or blackout drunk, and if I wasn't doing that too I'd catch hell for being a killjoy even though I was someone who at most had a glass of wine with dinner type. I hated being forced to keep drinking until I just felt sick, but compared to the alternative...whelp. In the 10+ years since the divorce, I haven't even touched a glass of wine much less have a few drinks to get a buzz going. In the beginning, it was from the bad experiences before the divorce that I wasn't drinking, but after that it's just it's not my thing so I'm not going to take the choice of having a drink. Granted, it's pretty much made me everyone's designated driver and I'm fine with that.

Upon knowing of Amouranth's existence i never really disliked her as a person, I mean I had no reason to think negatively of her, even if I have never really liked OF (I ain't paying for sht that's two google searches away) I've always thought she was just a bathtub streamer and that was it. But after noticing that the controversy related to her was if not false at the very least exaggerated, misused and that she apparently even lied to everyone who cared, I've lost all empathy for her, she's doing the same sht, the same way, and without addressing what really happened.
How was it false or exaggerated? Her ex isn't claiming she defamed him. She caught him dead to rights in real time saying what he said. These YT channels are going after her for the easy clicks.

When she said she can wear normal clothes again, she's telling the truth if you consider how ridiculous her stream schedule was before they split compared to now. Now she shows up maybe a few days a week for a few hours. If it was her decision, why did her stream schedule change so drastically after the split?

I cant imagine if she were truly being used and abused, that her abuser, who supposedly controls all her content, money, time, etc, would allow these accusations in the first place. He wouldn't want to be outed as an abuser. He would want to keep control. So, he apparently is so "evil" to force her to make this content for money, yet allows her to speak out on her abusive husband. 🤔 the two don't align for me. These two actions completely contridict each other in my mind. He is so controlling yet apparently not enough for her to be able to speak out about it, get help, sympathy, money, etc. Therefore, losing all control. Make it make sense.

(psychology is a field I love delving into, and attempted to go to college for) For a person that has/wants full control over someone, allowing them to PUBLICLY speak on the situation is basically raising the white flag, and knowing that you've failed. Exactly. Just because she decided to continue adult content (which is extremely common in people that were forced into it after they escape), doesn’t mean her husband wasn’t abusive and didn’t force her to work/wear revealing clothing. The call still happened, that’s enough for me.
I don't believe her situation was fake. As a victim of SA and abuse, I can genuinely feel her pain with every word, and she does the coping mechanism of trying to make self-depricating humour to ease the pain. It is immensely more than likely she didn't lie about her abuse.
It's more possible that A. she got back with the abusive partner (very common) or B. she felt guilty for leaving the abusive partner and proceeded this behaviour to punish herself in a sense (also very common). The entire reason why abuse is abuse is bc it traps YOU in a pattern of behaviours and thoughts as a form of exploitation. The effects of abuse don't just disappear after a break up; that's utopian.
Most people, especially women, who end up in abusive romantic relationships, usually had abusive parents to an extent -- and this causes permanent damage into how they perceive relationships and themselves, causing these cycles that maybe wouldn't make sense to someone who isn't on their shoes. I don't condone the lying, but I also don't see any amount of lies or acting in her body language when she told her experience.

I was one of the guys defending her, even though I've never actually watched her stream. If you use Twitch often, you knew who she was, and you knew the type of content she did and the insane amount of hours she put into it. Everyone I knew agreed that she was just a money-driven girl that valued income over her image, privacy or even free time. I still remember how Ludwig caught her looking at his stream while doing ASMR.
So when the story came out it just made sense. It made sense that she did that type of content even if she was bored of doing it. It made sense that she did it for so long in order to avoid her husband. And it didn't make sense that she would just make shit up for no reason when she already was one of the top content creators on Twitch and OF.
Now, I've lost all my sympathy for her. I don't know if she was in an abusive relationship or not, but it's undenniable that she used the opportunity to clean her image just to jump back into the same morally questionable content in a couple months. Not happy with that, she doubled down and joined into every trend that these type of streamers were doing. Simply repulsive.
