This is movie was so good. It was hauntingly beautiful. It was a great movie for younger generations to see who didn't get to live through the "Camelot" period. Portman demonstrated Jackie's grace and elegance perfectly.
Normally I don't watch anything like this, but for some reason, this movie has me intrigued. Personally, I'd like to see more movies like this, focusing on First ladies. I wonder if Caroline Kennedy has seen this movie yet since the movie has come out today.
What a dumb inquiry!!!!! Duh, the Kennedy's two kids hated their family's tragic tale, as the endless fodder for the insatiable Hollyweird crappola cannons! Caroline has remarked about her revulsion of TV and Hollyweird's obsession.......
She should've won, and it kind of makes me mad she didn't. She did a good job, and I think she worked really hard at playing Jackie. She had to talk and sound just like her, and in my opinion, she nailed it.
I only found out Why she scrambled to the back of the limo after the shooting. She picked up the pieces of JFK's skull to keep his head whole.A brave fact!!!
totally agree w u- Jackie's hair is more buffont/ tease == that alone she should not win--- Meryl Streep nailed Margaret Thatcher to a tee ( perfection)
Pablo Larraín really knows who to pick to portray real stories of known people with unknown stories. From Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy, chef’s kiss btw to Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. Kristen just said one line in the trailer and she got it TO. THE. POINT!
I love this movie. Now that they've made a movie about JFK (1991) and Jackie (2016), I think they should make a movie about Bobby and his wife, Ethel. I would really like to see a movie about Bobby's assassination and another movie coming from Ethel's perspective like they did with Jackie.

*LOVE this film. Natalie Portman is winning her second Oscar, even though it's a shame that that's likely to be the film's only awards recognition when Pablo Larraín's direction, Noah Oppenheimer's screenplay, Stéphane Fontaine's fairytale-like cinematography, Mica Levi's haunting score, and more also deserve to be recognized.* *Well, in any case...Jackie remains my 3rd favorite of 2016 so far, below Eye In The Sky and above Hell Or High Water. ^_^*
I already watched it 3 days ago 🎉 And in just 29 more days, it’s Kennedy’s birthday. So all I’d like to say today is: “Happy Early Birthday, Mr Kennedy!”
I'm going to be the black horse here among the comments: I do not picture Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy. I simply don't. However, I would like to see the movie. Like every one else, I've been intrigued by Mrs Kennedy all of my life.
She doesn't look like Jackie. Her face is too narrow, and she's too "frail." Jackie had a wide, round face and a very sturdy body. But she nailed the voice and mannerisms, from the clips I've seen
Even though I liked Emma Stone in La La Land I thought for sure Natalie deserved the Oscar for best actress hands down. Her portrayal was so strong and firm as Jackie
She has commented about her revulsion of TV and Hollywood's obsession with her family and has succeeded in blocking some TV movies/series from US TV!!!
If she does get nominated for all the awards, it's gonna be stiff competition between her and Amy Adams for ARRIVAL. Plus Natalie is pregnant again so she could win all the awards.
Ugh i was SO outraged, everyone seemed to worry more about the mistake for Best Picture than Emma Stone winning an Oscar for a basic as fuxk role where she was basically playing herself, over than Natalie who literally BECAME Jackie Kennedy. I feel like the Academy just gives the award to the one who's more mainstream and to the fan-favorite.
I could focus on nothing else than the annoying, very noticeable way the narrator said 'Larraín'. Please, stick with the narrator's normal accent, rather than this.
Natalie Portman turned in a decent portrayal of Jackie, but to me Caspar Phillipson looked amazingly like JFK. Too bad he wasn’t in the movie for longer.
Maybe it’s the Hairstylist in me but the hair n brows were so off..It just made me want to jump through the screen an fix it..She shouldn’t have worn a full wig ..You can always tell a will at the bottom hairline.. it just doesn’t fall right.. Her hair should have been cut n darkened an a fall for fullness that I heard Jackie wore.. Her voice was amazing..I couldn’t think of any known actress who could have done better..🏆
What a great performance, esp. that unique, angelic yet sophisticated voice, how did N do that? Ever wonder who will play Melania T? Wait, they don't have to, she did a lot already w/o her clothes on! How fast our country slide down the drain!!
I was not happy with the way that Portman slurred her speech. It was not a very good representation of her voice. Jackie Kennedy was much more polished than represented in the film.
It's truly amazing how Natalie Portman got Jackie Kennedy's voice right, she sounds almost EXACTLY like her, it's scary!!
I know, right? She should've gotten an Oscar for this movie. She earned it.
This is movie was so good. It was hauntingly beautiful. It was a great movie for younger generations to see who didn't get to live through the "Camelot" period. Portman demonstrated Jackie's grace and elegance perfectly.
she should have won the OSCARS. She transfigured herself into Jacqueline Kennedy
Normally I don't watch anything like this, but for some reason, this movie has me intrigued. Personally, I'd like to see more movies like this, focusing on First ladies. I wonder if Caroline Kennedy has seen this movie yet since the movie has come out today.

I agreed with you where Caroline Kennedy, if she had been open publisher about movie of her Mother's film?
She was robbed of an Oscar!!! How sad!
Little known fact about 'Jackie': Just 20 yrs. ago this film would've been rejected as a t.v. movie. Now, it's an Oscar contender.
Baby Irene u maybe right everything with a moive is all about time in
emma stone didn't deserve the oscar as much as Natalie Portman, and I'm not even a fan of the latter.
Natalie is so talented since The profesional to Jackie. I think she'll win her 2nd Oscar
She should've won, and it kind of makes me mad she didn't. She did a good job, and I think she worked really hard at playing Jackie. She had to talk and sound just like her, and in my opinion, she nailed it.
She should've won best actress at the oscars
This movie was as close to perfection as any movie released in 2016.
such a beautiful film. made me tear up seeing how much she adored her husband ❤
I only found out Why she scrambled to the back of the limo after the shooting. She picked up the pieces of JFK's skull to keep his head whole.A brave fact!!!
It's good but the HAIR isn't right!
totally agree w u- Jackie's hair is more buffont/ tease == that alone she should not win--- Meryl Streep nailed Margaret Thatcher to a tee ( perfection)
michelle stein-evers frankl wow this is so relevant
salem saberhagen why is it irrelevant ? Because you don't agree with it? Pfft really !
michelle stein-evers frankl i hear ya girl. I also thought she sounded more like Audrey Hepburn than jackie k, but thats just MY opinion.
Kelly Jones Jackie must be one of the hardest too imitate because many actresses have butchered it
Pablo Larraín really knows who to pick to portray real stories of known people with unknown stories. From Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy, chef’s kiss btw to Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. Kristen just said one line in the trailer and she got it TO. THE. POINT!

There is a movie called Bobby.
i wanna see this movie so bad. I always loved Jackie and the Kennedys
vidstar1 That is not even addressed in the movie. You're either a troll or a lunatic.
vidstar1 he killed jfk you idiot
If Natalie Portman doesn't win an Oscar, I'm gonna write them a very angry letter
Agreed!
enjoyce why dont you just sue them 10mil dollars
The scene on the plane as she cleans the blood off her face ALONE was Oscar worthy acting, Portman is perfection
I hope she wins a Oscar so they'll show it in a theater near me.
Tara Guidry it just came out at my local AMC
give this movie as many Oscars as possible.. she deserves the Oscars :*
I can't wait to see it. I hope it's good.
Laquisha Jean Me too!! Looks great. Man o man, Natalie just gets better and better.
Laquisha Jean saw it last night. It's absolutely fantastic

I can't wait to see this!
I really love this movie.
brilliant actress ... showing a life of moments, into a roll, of respect and fear but above all strength ... saw it last night in Athens Greece
I'm going to be the black horse here among the comments: I do not picture Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy. I simply don't. However, I would like to see the movie. Like every one else, I've been intrigued by Mrs Kennedy all of my life.
i hear she's great and deserving of the best actress oscar this year..
She doesn't look like Jackie. Her face is too narrow, and she's too "frail." Jackie had a wide, round face and a very sturdy body. But she nailed the voice and mannerisms, from the clips I've seen
incredible film. Knocked my socks off
Natalie deserved the Oscar this year.
damn!! i love this women, she Always rock everything her role
At the end I was like: it sounds like Natalie, no kidding, haha !!
she better get an Oscar for this!!
Natali Portman was Wonderful. The only actress, I am watching all her movies after watching Black Swan and this masterpiece.
I love her.
Even though I liked Emma Stone in La La Land I thought for sure Natalie deserved the Oscar for best actress hands down. Her portrayal was so strong and firm as Jackie
Nice video 😁
go natalie!! get that oscar!!!
Thaaank you for at least trying to pronounce Larraín correctly! Even Natalie Portman is doing it wrong lol
Doesn't matter what I think of this movie-documentary, but what matters to Jackie Kennedy O.'s daughter, Caroline!!! 😐
Yes, what matters is what she thinks , Jackie was her mother after all!
She has commented about her revulsion of TV and Hollywood's obsession with her family and has succeeded in blocking some TV movies/series from US TV!!!
If you can still catch it in theatres, watch it! I'd go see it a second time if I wasn't so broke. It was that good.
If she does get nominated for all the awards, it's gonna be stiff competition between her and Amy Adams for ARRIVAL. Plus Natalie is pregnant again so she could win all the awards.
albert penuelaz both fantastic movies, both amazing performances. It'll be close
I swear to god if Emma Stone wins Best Actress for the fucking overrated La La Land over Natalie, i will SNAP
Sure Jan I love La La Land but Stone's performance was relatively unchallenging, Portman is amazing
+My Edits
Just curious to know what your aftermath reaction is now?
I totally agree with you, that Natalie should have won!
Ugh i was SO outraged, everyone seemed to worry more about the mistake for Best Picture than Emma Stone winning an Oscar for a basic as fuxk role where she was basically playing herself, over than Natalie who literally BECAME Jackie Kennedy.

Such an amazing film
She was Amazing
I see an Oscar for Portman
A very difficult roll Natalie....full respect
She did an amazing job. She should have won the oscar
I'm sure Emma Stone is going to win the oscar but I truly hope Nathalie Portman will
Im waiting to see this film since the first trailer was release
love natalie... a very talented, kind, intelligent woman! i look up to her, this movie was one of her best. if not THE best!
I could focus on nothing else than the annoying, very noticeable way the narrator said 'Larraín'. Please, stick with the narrator's normal accent, rather than this.
where can i see this???
Something I've noticed but haven't seen mentioned is that the title "Jackie" is in Mrs. Kennedy real handwriting.
I still want to know the name of the song used in the last half of the preview.
Great film
If Emma Stone (who I like) beats her, I will be fuming.
Agreed!
Unfortunately she did win which freaking suck I was so mad
I hope it's good.
Mina 12 it's far more than just good
And she chose Sweet Aurora...-Miss Mary Costa to sing at President Kennedy's funeral.
Natalie Portman turned in a decent portrayal of Jackie, but to me Caspar Phillipson looked amazingly like JFK. Too bad he wasn’t in the movie for longer.
No one cares if you're first
she looks way better then jackie kennedy cause jackie had some far apart eyebrows but she was a great person
Johnathon Santiaro Jackie was stunningly beautiful...you done lost your mind
But Jackie hides her feelings?...
savage
Its gonna be Portman or Amy Adams
Maybe it’s the Hairstylist in me but the hair n brows were so off..It just made me want to jump through the screen an fix it..She shouldn’t have worn a full wig ..You can always tell a will at the bottom hairline.. it just doesn’t fall right.. There was 2 shooters
Perfect accent???!!!!
She's not in every scene, she's not in the one where they see lee harvey oswald get shot on tv.
great film.
I wish a director could say that to a Black actor or actress? Oh well, shit happens right?
I think they should of gotten Katie Holmes to play Jackie Kennedy
she is Michelle Obama in that era
2 nd
What a great performance, esp. that unique, angelic yet sophisticated voice, how did N do that? Ever wonder who will play Melania T? Wait, they don't have to, she did a lot already w/o her clothes on! How fast our country slide down the drain!!
Natalies okay but I like Katie Holmes as Jackie more.
Natalie Portman clearly has an enlarged ego.
+
I was not happy with the way that Portman slurred her speech. It was not a very good representation of her voice. Jackie Kennedy was much more polished than represented in the film.
Worst movie I've seen in months
