Nas and Pac definitely, their social conscious content was amazing and that is missing from the game today. Biggie was an amazing rapper but his content wasn't the same as the others. He was more into the party and bullshit!

Nas didn't even diss Pac, and he was a much better rapper. Okay, so I'm going to expand on my statement because a lot of people have replied. I'm not trying to make fun of Tupac, he's a great rapper, and a legend actually. I'm just trying to say that Nas didn't start the beef, and they actually ended it before Pac died. Also, Nas is a better rapper/lyricist, his rhetorical dexterity is a lot higher, that's just a fact.
Nas was a good lyricist but Pac was more engraved with his lyrics. He practiced what he preached. Nas is good no question but Pac is still untouchable till this day, he was a poet, a philosopher, an extraordinary actor. Nas was a terrible actor. In my opinion, Tupac was the superior in the rap game. He is the Jordan of rap. If you disagree, study Pac before u criticize. Nas was not better.
Walter Azzari Nas was much better than Pac lyrically, his rhetorical dexterity is way too high. Who's the better artist? That's subjective. Pac was amazing, he's a rap legend, but he is overrated. He's not even top 10 when it comes to lyrics.
Guhsteh I understand where your coming from but 2pac was much more deeper about how he rapped, in my opinion 2pac would of blown up way more if he was alive today and he was only at his peak before he died which is a coincidence, because alot of artists die before they reach fame. Bangerz Breh 2Pac was very deep and he was an incredible artist. But me saying that Nas is a better lyricist, isn't an opinion or an insult, it's just a fact. There is truthfully something about this era that I miss and will forever long for ..for the rest of my life. There was a huge difference of the understanding and the acknowledgement of these young men that were raised in very rough and harsh neighborhoods. Obviously not all of them. But without the cell phone and the constant apps they have now a days. I find people to have been more intellectual back then. I remember as a kid, besides when MSN came out, I read books, spoke to other kids on the streets. Its so hard to explain. Its just a feeling of communication and expression that does not exist or rarely found in today's era....then again I'm in my 30's but I feel for my kids. ........

For those who don't know the backstory, Nas was supposed to be a member of Death Row East, but it never happened because the week they were going to Make it a reality, Tupac got killed. When Nas stopped his Concert to say RIP to Tupac, that was the same exact week. Nas concert just so happened to be in Las Vegas and that was the same place Pac died. I think at this time Tupac knew that Nas was going to join and was just doing this to keep the shock factor when the announcement was made. According to Nas the main Death Row figures already knew about him coming to join. Go listen to the Song "Death Row East" by Nas and he talks about this. He also mentioned about how Suge Knight was a dangerous and untrustworthy person which years later we all know to be true.
Pac so passionate when he speaks he got me believing that death row east killed it for 20 yrs lol some stars shine so bright they arent able to shine for long, but the memory and impact of them will last forever.
Actually I see discomfort in his face while Pac is speaking as if he knew their limits and Pac didn't. Pac was confident and pierce but Suge didn't seem to like that....
Hip Hop is all about being raw, unfiltered and unapologetic. Going straight for the jugular and showing mercy only when the battle is won. Pac became a master at his craft. The intelligence and knowledge this guy had at 25 superceded anyones in the game at that point. He knew the only way to get people to hear him was if he had everyones attention. All eyes on him. He won, even in death.
Hmmmm intelligence and knowledge unprecedented???? You must have no gruel knowledge of the actual game then. PAC was loud and talked too much. So, it made him seem like he was super intelligent. However, maybe you need to listen to Brand Nubian, Poor Righteous Teachers, of course Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy, and a host of others. AND, they were lyrically better. They were rapping conscious lyrics well before AND during PAC. PAC and I would have been the same age if he were alive today. PAC was raised by a black Panther mother. I was raised by black Panther parents. So, when you say something like he was wise beyond his years, personally, I don’t understand that. You’re looking at the loud talking Pac and some of the issues he speaks on. However, look at what Pac did, and you see intelligence wasn’t what you think. Now, I’m only saying this because you said at 25. Let’s look at the stupid mistakes anyone from the hood knows NOT to do. If you’re not a street dude, you don’t run with street dudes because you will always get caught up in some mess, directly or indirectly. His rape case, he was hanging with true thugs. He got set up. They snitched. He got the blame. An intelligent dude would know enough not to even bother with that UNLESS that is your life. And, we know PAC wasn’t a street dude anyway so we won’t even dive into that. Then, he turns around and sings with Interscope (not death row). Suge was the pawn used by Interscope. So, an intelligent brother knows singing with someone like that is a recipe for being broke, which he basically was at the time of his death until his mother got things done. Then, as in my first statement, you get signed and then all of a sudden you hard with yours? You run up on.a true, known gang member. Well, anyone from the hood knows you do something towards a made gang member, consequences will be paid in full. Knowing this, he tries to show us loyalty to the people who would not be loyal to him. As my father and uncles always told me, “The Streets Have no loyalty”. So, I beg to differ that he was wise beyond his years. He made some very basic mistakes that any intelligent hood dude wouldn’t make.
@@Keepdapocket Yep, it's shocking how many people don't realize any of this, or maybe they don't care. Tupac was a walking fucking contradiction. He wanted to be a black liberator but he also wanted to be a gangster. Orlando Anderson was a known gang member and psycho, yet Tupac decided to initiate an attack on him. Tupac didn't deserve to die, but he suffered the consequences of gang banging. Real intelligent guy, right?

@commanderpp None of these rappers were overrated nor underrated they all had distinctive styles
The metaphorical syllabic raps of Pun was birthed by Rakim , Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane. These were the main architects that paved the way for new school hip hop
Big was never trash, he had one of the most eloquent wordplays, smooth flows and deliveries. He's Top 5 just like Jadakiss.
Pac's early work from 1988-1993 before Death Row's featured his most lyrical prowess. Plus the topics he talked about had notoriety such as social injustice, politics, poverty, etc. Pac was poet. So was Nas, Pac and Nas was more alike. Pac was even influenced by Nas' It Was Written before he died.
Not to mention Big L, the best emcee to come out of Harlem. If L didn't die, he would've had superstar status. Unfortunately, he was merked before reaching mass appeal.
Then you have the whole Wu tang, Guru, the list goes on.

Nas and Pac definitely, their social conscious content was amazing and that is missing from the game today. Biggie was an amazing rapper but his content wasn't the same as the others. He was more into the party and bullshit!
That is because most hip-hop fans that start this idiocy are arrogant, rash and close-minded stans, you can't really force people to get along with something they like to rebuttal and want conflict over from in the first place.

If he was smart and intelligent he would be alive. Maybe you talk about Nas because he is that all
@@dr.ianmalcolm4510 pac was young he wasn't perfect you hating dumbasses
Don't go against the greatest simple and plain, which is Nas... 2pac is up there, but he straight up cold clocked Nas for no reason
PAC was the greatest if he was still living the world will b different ,,that prove he was powerfulr, nas is not
100 % real shit....i love pacs music but nas is the goat
you stupid stfu
+Heyitzj0sh
you sound crazy he had the East Coast punked and he knew it even though he was a backup dancer for digital under ground and strip down to a thung on stage, many people feel like the east outnumbered the west and they did lol and they never dissed back. He just missed DMX by a year because that's who would of destroyed Tupac. rappers weren't intelligent like the rappers in today because the nose ring to those long girl eyelashes tupac could of been destroyed back then but people were scared of Marion Sugar Knight lol. you think hard about going to war with someone when they have a 6 foot 4 320 pound ex college star football player with them who hung a white bubble gum rapper over a balcony and took 2 million dollars from him and nobody did anything!!!!
There was a reason why he went at Nas
My guy was ready for war with anybody in anytime. That's what I call a real warrior 🔥
At some point you just have to acknowledge how wise this man was at only 25 years.
Involved in gangs. Not wise enough clearly
Yes such wisdom. If you believe in God then believe in ‘Death Row East’.
@@silloweet Just because someone had a horrible past doesn’t mean they didn’t learn and adapted from those experiences. Being wise is also about the bad things that you experienced from life and educate the ones that never lived that life. 2 pac was around gangs because of the hood he grew up in, he didn’t have a choice you dipshit. 2 pac was never in the suburbs with the whites because the whites didn’t like his kind. Thats the life here in White America 🇺🇸
@@jasonroberts2249 lol some of these pac worshippers be killing me
I'm not saying Tupac wasn't wise but where do you here any wisdom in what he just said!
Man Tupac could carry a message with force. What a spokesperson he was through his lyrics.

Brandon Salam illuminati? Thats some mockery shit, killuminati ain't nothing but Pac mocking people who believed in that shit other than the real threats they dealt with
+The Truth x couldn't tuch pac bro
Tupac is such a likeable guy. We really missed out when we lost him!
Black people love to kill each other it’s a shame ❤
Pac was just source of energy, even he was mistaken - he was telling it for real, not for show or fame.
For him, hip hop was not a game, but a way to come deep inside our mind and to change it by doing total revolution.
It is not about gangsta life, hustling or living luxury life - it is about rapping exactly how you live.
Pac was true pioneer of arts.
And I think it’s some truth to some of that, but I also think that passion for revenge kinda also blinded him.
Shut up
You just heard him say he was doing it for the money
@@thebrokemusician i don't care, Pac was soldier and used money as a tool.
@@orion8 It was also apart of his downfall to some extent.
