I've seen NIN at least TWICE, and I don't know if I've seen Patrick with Nails or Filter. Pretty sure I didn't get to see with Crystal Method, at least not in person, not in this lifetime. Then, how the F would I know? Spent at least half a year walking Comatose after a Murder Attempt on Me, without notification, provocation, or anything to indicate anything of the "people", the girls, the situation, the place, the setups, the connections, the organizations and I woke up in FLAMES. This is part of their M.O. it is known but was actively covered up by those that you would hope you should be able to trust.
When someone VIOLATES their Oaths, or Terms of Existence, or Contractual agreements, single, multiple, written, verbal, known or implied, they fuck everyone they're connected to. So, instead of burning inside, burning alive, and the sins, or whatever you want to call them, get Overridden, and the Opposite of their cover up began, plus, I woke up, In Flames, VERY Literally.
I might say I was burning. I might say I was melting. I might have torn myself apart and opened up what was necessary in order to breathe, I was Awake, and I was trying to stop the fire from consuming my home, body, pets, family, friends, and anything else that I could.
I got pulled out- dragged out of the fire and I worried about the pets that were in the same place I had just been. So, as stupid or funny it might sound, I said what I meant.
"Save my Snake!" Like Ren & Stimpy, cuz like Mr. Horse, Nope, I didn't like it.
      I don't like it. Nope-
It is so good to be alive! It is so underrated, and Brilliantly Amazing! I am so Grateful and Lovingly Thankful for all help and assistance I have gotten, still get, and all I will receive. NOW. I am not one that holds a grudge very well. However...
I find myself a bit lacking in the Empathy and Sympathy department with regards to Evil fucks. I am not judging them. That's not my job.
I just might not have the full unconditional love that others speak of. It's not that I don't love everyone- don't get me wrong- I do love everyone! I love them like Ye loves everyone. Might not love what they have done, but it's not my job to love that, just them: maybe their ego needs reworking? Maybe their life needs self removal? Maybe I find myself unable to physically move when hoping to save someone's life... I have Faith. I am not sure how I found God, but I am really excited and quite amused as I watch the Image, the Imaginings of the Collective, and myself Change. I am enjoying the reflection and apologize if I am occasionally a bit more than some might prefer. For those that have done their Killing Joke Antics and Actions, and all connected in all ways, I am working on improving myself and helping others. For those that have worked to my demise, I don't know what will happen to you. I have stayed my will and my hand, and I continue to try. Don't Triall my Patience is Low, my Fire is Burning Inside, and if I get the Decision from Host of Hosts, Organic Creator, I will say hi. I don't know what it means, and I don't know how I might feel. I don't know if I will keep form or pull something real fresh or F-King Ancient and Olde that you will dread. Of course, the usual course of action wouldn't involve myself or another human at all.
You're familiar with the Force Major? A legal term... I think it is correctly written in French, but maybe it's from another language. It means a Force of Nature, and it's incredibly intriguing! Such examples can be seen quite often NOW. There's lots of stories I don't mind whispering to the depths of your dying soul, if you even have one. Having a soul or several, or none, or maybe something stranger is not common, nor very effective against a Force Major. I don't manipulate synthetics, with regard to such things. What is known is that Truth rises to the top, and remains as the rest of those lacking are washed away. We shall part the ways- maybe we part the worlds in twain. Maybe it's something that is not ever yet seen. It's coming. It's got an Eye out for you, Precious.
You've dangled your parts with the snakes I've saved and helped to simply survive in some form.
Am I Making Myself Clear? Oh Yes.
As for yourself- you already know my thumb points down, but only regarding your fate. I shall not overstep my Calling.
If you want to know, just fucking ask. You know how to ask a question, don't you?
Cremate this? You said! You tried, you went so fucking far over the line and something is required to be done.
Probably not very quick. See, shit don't click with you.
Your so called friends... well, you know- or have some idea...
An apology wouldn't be enough, and I would only accept one if compelled to be the Higher Authority.
So, I wish things were different. I wish to rise above the BS. I don't hate you- I don't care for you. I know better than to become the things I hate.
Everyone, be good to eachother while I am away, and when I am here, you may or may not know. I simply seek peace and a harmonious existence with like minded souls. If there was no point to the world, I wouldn't be here, not NOW, nor before, nor in the future.
It would be a nice and acceptable gesture to cease the agitation of others. Whether in willingness or persuasion, intimidation, or queer fancy, and/or anything else, regardless of how you feel or rationalize, something Has a Special Eye for you.
Try not to judge yourself too harshly?

The background story wasn't so nice. It was rumored that Patrick tried to work with Reznor when he played for him as NIN guitarist. Was told he could be credited but would have to sign away all rights. That's when he left the band. Reznor is a tyrant.

Richard and Trent playing onstage together for the first time in who knows how long is amazing. Them doing it in Cleveland was no mistake or accident. I bet that was magical for that audience.
Edit: for those who don't know, Cleveland is where Pretty Hate Machine and Short Bus were recorded and where both bands were started.

      @MidnightMechanic Рік тому +2

It actually kinda was a coincidence. This concert was a celebration for being inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame, which is in Cleveland. NIN got inducted in 2020 so they didn’t have any of the normal ceremony or performance. Before this show they did a Q&A at the Hall and had a special display for the weekend

Here is my Filter story. It was 1995. I was at a White Zombie concert and Filter was unknown as this was right before Short Bus. They were opening for WZ. Richard had a broken leg in a cast so he sat on stage with his leg propped up. He was in a terrible mood. He was pissed people weren't paying much attention. No moshing, no yelling, no nothing. So he was saying "Fuck you guys sing along! SING ALONG! We will just walk off this fucking stage. Fuck you all!" People booed him. I barely remember the set but it felt brief. I ended up liking them though and the rest is history.

You know Richard Patrick’s older brother is the dude who plays Liquid T1000 in The Terminator? Like they were raised together.. I dunno why that surprised me so much but it did.

I wish the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame would have put a show together that revisited the inductees of the pandemic class, I feel like they just threw together what they could and moved on. While the artists and the fans didn't get a chance to see what their favourites could have put together for a live performance.

Nin wouldn't exist with out Richard Patrick, he left Trent reznor to start filter and Trent was pissed and the song piggy is about Richard Patrick. Just goes to show even almost 40 years later you can call peace and unite together.
