I like how Rufus is added. It's a nice touch considering his partnership with the Turks in Before Crisis after he was found to be the one funding Avalanche (which consists of his "5 year business trip"). If you need any footage of Before Crisis, Grimoire Valentine's channel (and the FF7 Excavation group in general) have you covered for translated gameplay. The Before Crisis Turks also get a feature in both the BC animated intro and Last Order (both of which were animated by Madhouse).
Wow Madhouse was actually behind that animation? Only seen clips and it already looked badass to me. Him funding Avalanche is news to me. Awesome you played through Before Crisis then? Would love to see a remake on that game :D
@@pneukleus6414 Oh no, I have never played it. No one outside of Japan has ever played Before Crisis. Such a shame that Square didn't port the game to Nintendo DS like they originally planned. I just watched the translated gameplay on Grimoire's channel as it's really the only way to experience it in its original form. The missions that aren't recorded can be read on the FFVII Excavation site for Before Crisis. As for Rufus, yes, he was the original funder for Avalanche's early exploits, but most importantly he was a leak of information for Avalanche to use to plan their attacks against the corporation. After he is caught in Corel by the Turks, Rufus begins helping them by providing information that he still has exclusive access to. He remains in their custody for nearly 5 years until his father finds him and releases him. Be cool to see what will become of Before Crisis now that Square has renewed the licenses for Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus.
@@petercampi2840 Man what you just wrote gave chills to my spine. Al I can say that whoever wrote and constructed the story behind this was an absolute genius. Did you know that Square is releasing new announcements next month and in August too? Crisis Core and Dirge has a potential to appear haha but will also lower my expectations at the same time to avoid disappointment
@@pneukleus6414 The story writer, eh? Well, as far as I know that is Kazushige Nojima, the main writer for the Compilation of FFVII since the original game. Although, to be fair, the wholeness of FFVII was a collaboration between Nojima, Nomura, and Kitase.
@@petercampi2840 Wow you know a lot. The only guy that I'm familiar here is Nomura hahahaha. We're just blessed to have them revive the FF7 world in modern gaming era with the PS5 lying around the corner.
@@notoriousalien yeah...just his lore with Veld alone would be cool, or his role at the end of Crisis Core fleshed out. He's just too awesome to be sidelined like he's been.
I'm just realizing how much of a BANGER Reno's boos theme is

Cloud and his friends and ex soldiers do kicking their ass hard during original game and remake.
Hey cousin Rufus what’s up? Cloud.
Ya got me! Thanks for the video!
Tseng is the leader of the Turks and got almost no screentime...sadge
super sad they don't incorporate more of him considering he has just as much or even more lore than all of the turks lol
