You probably know this, but just to make sure... Charge to 100% only when you go on long trips. For everyday comute, try to charge only to 80% or 90%. Lithium batteries don't like to be charged to 100% or drop below 10%. It will degrade faster over time.

I’m in the US and I have one pretty much like this but without the HUD and GTX accents. It’s just called Pro S AWD and you can get it in different colors, mine is Kings Red. Same performance though. Loving it!

Couple of months ago I took a taxi from airport and it was a ID.4 and I was really surprised how quiet it was and comfy. On the way back to airport I got an tesla 3.. That was an awful experience, not only because it was so small (there were 4 people both ways). VW really surprised me positively with good build quality and noise suppression.

Dashboard had a little GameBoy feeling to it, but it is combined with the interactive LED directions and the HUD with augmented reality, so that makes it very cool again!

Driving Model 3 SR+ now and it's boring as fuck. ID4 is slower, but I heard you can at least drift with it at winter. Musk doesn't allow snow drifting at all, which is a huge bummer

Too bad it's still a long way until electric cars become the 'average' consumers' cars. 😞 They're still too expensive. Tesla is considered a "Luxury" brand. Not sure if VW's cars are cheaper than Tesla's but I assume they're about the same price range because of all the technology involved but it's still VW. Maybe in the future they turn it into an exclusive luxury EV brand???
In the VW Group you have the Audi etron Q4, which is the 'luxury' version of this Volkwagen ID.4. But in reality the VW is only about 5000 Euro cheaper than the Audi. And both are in the price range of a Tesla Model 3. From what I have seen and driven, I can tell that the Audi has a more luxurious feel to it than a Tesla Model 3 or Y. Tesla and ID.4 are comparable if you talk interior.

.....a beautiful car... a real German, neither too big nor too small, everything fits inside and still probably easy to drive, the trunk is as big as it should be, the engine compartment and the interior of the car are tidy, the lines are reduced but it still seems rich inside,I don't like these blue combinations in the interior (as if they ran out of material of another color) but that's a matter of taste.It looks stable and comfortable, a simple and practical car, but your neighbors will still envy you if you buy it, for me this is a complete car for a class of its own

One of the things that makes this so ugly is the mismatched “leather” door panels and dashboard. Like match it to the rest of the car, make it black. Simple and fluid color choice, seems like they are trying to save scrap material from somewhere else.

I know of one instance where a car barely few months old blew one of the motors. The dealership is saying they do not have spares and is offering a regular gasoline vehicle as a replacement till they fix the ID4 in a few months. Something to know for people who are considering buying an ID4

The ID4, which uses low-quality Chinese batteries, has very poor battery efficiency. Not recommended.
And no way of swapping / upgrading… maybe a new business model for the future, when these cars are sold second hand! 🔋⚡️
