Worth a mention: when you are ordering new equipment (i.e. PWC, new seat cushion, upholstery, shower/ commode chair, etc.), be certain that your chosen vendor has the correct contact info for the appropriate doctor as to NOT DELAY any durable medical equipment progress. Too often, in my experience, providing an obsolete fax number can wreak havoc!

The last three months have been busy and interesting. Had the Cataracs removed, one eye at a time - what a difference. I went to the dentist, and she referred me to an Endodontist; originally, a root canal on #2 but feel safer getting it pulled (doesn't owe me a dime) a week from now. I was invited to write a couple of articles: one for our bi-weekly local newspaper and another for their free tri-monthly magazine (2024 eclipse). My first at writing for the papers instead of being in the papers (lol). Joined the YMCA through Silver Sneakers and classes for the elderly begin soon, hmm. We've attended many little league games to see one grandson just a short trot away, gotten to know/ watch our young and daring skateboarders and bicyclists on their respective new tracks now open in Batesville. Love our grandsons' sleepovers and keep asking myself, 'why don't they want to play pool, ping-pong, hockey, blah, on the expensive GameTable we gave 'em for Christmas'...I'm learning as I go.

Yoo Mase. Whats up, my BD just passed June 29th. Cancer baby! Not much going on with me. I'm about to be let go from my job because my disability. I'm a 51yo M T4 incomplete. It happened 15 months ago. But I find that I have no tolerance for hot weather. I often get dizzy when I'm out in the sun longer than 10 minutes. I'm going to partner with a local dating matchmaker here in my town and we are going to start a dating/matchmaking site for cripples/disabled people-or whatever the new PC word is now a days.SMF, people get do offended nowadays. If I lose my job then I'm thinking about volunteering my time to libraries and a local rehab facility so I can talk to other SVCI people that are going through the grieving process. Happy belated BD bro!.

Have you done a recent faith update on your channel? This is a very personal topic with some and always a work in progress. Thanks for sharing, Mason! God bless! ❤

Hey Mason, I just wanted to let you know that I've been following your UA-cam channel for years. Although I don't always comment or like your videos, I have to tell you that what you've achieved is truly remarkable. I even saw a member of my rehab team showing one of your videos to another patient in the clinic. I hope you keep it up because I believe you'll be rewarded in the long run. If I could ask you a question in person, it would be: where do you see yourself in ten years in terms of life, relationships, and career?

There really is no way not to have to use something for Compression because you swell up unless you are laying elevated and I need to do that more now.

That is a great shower chair and you are right that a lot of medical equipment falls apart right after you get it. I got a reclining shower chair and they are good but you need a bigger size shower to use it because it is bigger and reclines back so you need more room to use it.

I got the compression socks with the zippers on the sides because they are easier to get on me. I was having problems with swelling and went to the Wound Clinic and they made me get Custom Velcro Compression Wraps too because they work better than Compression Socks but you need to have them put on and they have a lot of Velcro Straps that need to get put in position but they work good when you get them put on you.

I already posted a question on another post. Here’s another. I applaud you for wanting to be as independent as possible, I on the other hand have to consider energy conservation while maintaining independence. Do you have any tasks that you can do but prefer not to due to time or energy constraints
