I appreciate that! I'm glad to hear that I can inspire you. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for this video. I have been wanting to see someone use that knife in real life.
You're welcome! Here is the Active Hands Bread Knife as well: ua-cam.com/video/yQBr8pRNvGE/v-deo.html If you purchase something from Active Hands, use coupon code AHME10 for 10% off. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Mason Ellis = Jacques Pépin ! YES, do a cooking video ! :) But Dang skippy at the 2:52 mark while cutting the celery and pulling the knife back NEVER put your left arm/hand in that position unless someday you want it to slip and you cut your hand off as well. There's got to be a better way. I'm sure you'll figure it out. 🤣 Anyways, you're looking good mason ! Stay happy and healthy and successful. :)
Well, I've done a lot more worse things than that. Lol Thank you for watching and commenting!
I use a rocker knife looks like a traditional Alaskan Inuit knife works well. The one you have looks awesome for cutting steak 👍👊♿️💪💪
Someone else mentioned the rocker knife in their comment. I looked it up, and it looks quad-friendly. I appreciate you sharing that! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Great demo of a very useful tool again; debating on an assistive glove to safely hold these knives. Thank You!
Here are two options, and I have codes for 10% off for both:

Awesome vid. I do the same. I put a mixure of veggies in a bowl with itallian or greek dressing for a snack, its delicious. Natures candy!
I've never tried that. What kind of vegetables do you use? What is Greek dressing? Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@masonx54 I mix carrots, celery, cauliflour, broccoli, bell peppers and cucumber. I buy Kraft Greek dressing with feta and oregano. No problem. Keep up the great informative videos.
I find the rocker knife easier to use with my quad hands
I just looked up rocker knife, and it looks quad-friendly. I appreciate you sharing that! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Just a heads up...I had some baby carrots in the freezer (the dog eats them for treats). However, a few months later (I was in Canada and didn't give them to her in the winter--too cold for frozen treats) and they were bad. So I looked them up. They are indeed carrots, but because they're now only the cut sides, they’re more prone to drying out and developing carrot blush, a thin white film that forms due to dehydration. Not to mention they’re actually pretty expensive. It takes two minutes to cut your own carrots. Seriously. You can enjoy better tasting carrots, save money, and avoid supporting an industry obsessed with promoting false vegetable beauty standards if you just buy a bag of “adult” carrots and cut them yourself. It’ll take two minutes-less time than you spent reading this article.! By the way, I have the same OCD-type pattern...LOL.' I cut my cauliflower and broccoli like you...take off the stems...but the florets actually just come out by taking the individual stems off.
I don't think I have ever bought adult carrots. Lol
@@masonx54 lol...that is funny! They are quite a cost savings. I know the ones in Canada are super sweet! I don't know if their soil's different or what.
Hi Mason that knife works well for you and you make it look easy .
Yeah, it's a great tool for people with poor hand/finger function. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Nice vegetable prep! You should do a cooking video sometime!:)
I plan to do a cooking video. What should I cook? Thank you for watching and commenting!
See you on the food network
It would be nice to see you cook a favorite meal or item you eat! Love your videos!
I'll see what I can do. I appreciate your idea!
omg wow 😄 could we see a video of you cooking? I will love it
What do you want me to cook? Haha Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@masonx54 what are your favorite foods? 🤔
I could tell you spaghetti but I don't know if you like it, do you like it?
Oh yeah, I like spaghetti. I'll consider it. Haha
@@masonx54 😊
@@masonx54 just make the food you like ok 😊 don't worry
Love me some fresh veg! Have you ever listened to 'How not to die' by Dr McGregor. Such an amazing read/listen. He goes into great detail re published studies about the benefits of whole foods in your diet e.g. fruit, veg, nuts, pulses versus diets high in meat and dairy. Thanks for the vid :)
No, I have never heard of that book. I do like my meat though. Haha Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hello Mason I’m a C4-5-6 SCI. You mentioned in an earlier video about a medication you take to help you release your bladder. I really appreciate it if you gave me the name of that medicine. Thank you very much. I wish you well.🙂
I googled it n I found that medicine Mirabegron
The name of the medication I take to prevent bladder spasms is Myrbetriq. As of this month, there is finally a cheaper generic version called Mirabegron. You're welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Nothing quite like freshly cut raw veggies of your choice. The aroma and taste can't be matched by a bland ready-made salad. Now you can make it your way
I have been eating these vegetables for lunch almost everyday since starting my job in August of 2018.
@@masonx54 vegetables and especially fruit maintain regularity. Now you might not like what I'm about to say but you obtain very little micronutrients from fruits and veggies because they're bound with so called oxillates making them indigestible. The only way to obtain sufficient digestible micronutrients is from internal organ meats such as liver, kidney, tripe, heart etc. I was disappointed when I recently learned about it. But keep eating those fruits and veggies for the sake of regularity
Bro I thought you was fixin to cut yourself!
No, I'm a skilled chef. 👨🏼🍳
