I live here in Cary, Linville Ridge, and as a retiree my wife and I love the quiet life. My wife loves the fact that there are a lot of shopping options close by. Our second son came for a visit from California, and didn’t like it here because it was too quiet…..I do know that if I wanted to move here now, I couldn’t afford to buy a house, that to me is the biggest con.
Cary is like paradise for people who grew up and lived in rather hideous cities from the north or rust belt. It's nice to know where your tax dollars go. And a lot of those dollars go to improvements that make life better for the citizens. Markedly lovely projects. Tidy, friendly. Somehow they hide 180,000 people here. Costs a fair bit. But there is diversity in housing. Love it.
