@@digdug1431 Not really. All of the other characters have big things that make their characters cool / powerful, and while his power would be broken normally, it is held back from that point by the lack of overall control that Sips has over it. He has his moments of control, but ultimately, he cannot keep it in check. He’s a deeply flawed character who actively makes bad / reckless choices as well, which keeps him from being what a Mary Sue is. Also, this is told by his player from his point of view almost always, so it’s going to lean towards his views just by virtue of the fact that Dingo knows her character better than she would know her fellow players’. But I know a lot of spanish speakers who can speak it but not read it, and I know a few people who can read a language but not speak a word.
Sips just keeps making me more and more concerned for him. It feels as though he is losing himself all while trying to prove he is himself and in control. I'm worried for our favorite monkey. And dang, that ending; gonna be real intriguing to see all the context next time.
Funny thing is, right before Erina met up with him again, he was all "Welp, guess it's cool for me to lose control!". And now he's trying to prove he's in control. I don't know it's weird when someone asks you to kill them. I bet that Walky Foreclaimers have a tyranical ruler that kept them on the path that made Xanu hate them. I agree, i also find it suspect that in the early episodes, foreclamer power crystals were yellow, were as "Walkys" is blue. Plus, we know the iridescent crystals are addictive due to Rascims drug problem way back when... especially since the Foreclamers had a crystal capable of curing said addictions
Another alternative, Elowen is also a tyrannical out of her mind ruler that has been carrying guerrilla style warfare and, she and her faction were just the underdog and not actually less evil.

His complex from throughout the whole series is being amped up till a climatic point where he breaks down fully for a reconstruction an some voice acting that will kill all your hearts :) I have seen shows like this before an oh god it gets tense
@@senritsujumpsuit6021 Oh most certainly, the demon side of the curse is amping up since Zanu and Sips merged. Zanu knows and its likely why he's working with Sips to wall off this malignant aspect of Sips and likely Zanu as well but yeah cracks are starting to show in his personality, and especially taking more extreme risks. Cause this thing inside them only appears to come out fully is when Sips is knocked out its Monkey Hyde coming out to do murder things. Zanu is certainly lawful evil he's willing to give the wait and see if the foreclaimers had changed mostly because he feels he owes it to Gothi but that line is mighty thin if he feels they hadn't changed. The chaotic evil monkey just wants to murder death kill everything and Sips is just getting tugged very thin between the two. I feel there's a connection between the power crystals that these foreclaimers are utilizing and that Felix is strongly hinting this material that's prevalent isn't jiving well with them and why there's so many uncontrollable constructs. I wouldn't put it past Zanu might be stretching himself thin trying to control all these constructs especially the dragon one and well evil sips might take advantage of it. Overall I'm enjoying how this campaign is running its giving off familiar vibes with my old campaign and how my wolven mad scientist artificer was slowly becoming seen as being the bad guy of the campaign or at least a anti hero. Even when we killed off the evil god bbeg It didn't affect the guy we were actually trying to stop and even though his ways of stopping the endless cycles of war was just to whip out a bigger stick it was working. The campaign ended a bit bittersweetly but I felt for my character he wasn't wanting this to end in a blood bath he already felt band enough that he wiped out 4 of the 5 cities of his own people and he didn't want to add another to it.
The possessed mech dragon just hovering there is somehow just so ominous, and in a way perfectly symbolizes Sips' current predicament. He's on the brink of catastrophe with his powers and the curse, but is barely holding on.
Honestly, one every two months is a fantastic rate of turn out in my opinion. There's some content creators I follow that don't release more than once every 5-6 months
Dingo has truly mastered the art of making a 13-minute episode seem no longer than 3 minutes. I am super entranced in this world and these characters by now, currently rewatching the whole saga to spot little things i missed or forgot
i discovered dnd through the first episodes of your campaign when they came out way back, and now i’m in my first campaign!! it’s been a long ride, but i’m happy, and your videos are such a comfort to me. keep up the good work!!
I recently did a oneshot, I was an ice devil fighter (chaotic good) then there were 2 other fighters, one of which was a topaz Dragonborn. a reincarnated elf, an idiot who the reincarnated elf (Beth, who became male and is used to it) is dragged with because idiots is dumb. also a rogue with dumb morals. and of course, the whole campaign revolves around 2 characters. Fizzlebok, the DM's character from a different campaign, who is known for getting into trouble and USALLY getting out of it (Fizz is a gnome wizard and he didn't get out of trouble this time, he did quote "a much bigger mistake than usual") and Vecna, who we actually defeated. and now we need to destroy his phylactery in 70 years or he kills us all. and considering most of the party can live for hundreds of years, and Frigilius (my fighter) can live for thousands, 70 years is NOT A LOT.
I've been watching the series for a while now and am noticing that there does not seem to be much real threat, like back when Sips happened to solo a vampire that collapsed dead for seeming only a convenient reason right as he started to fight him. Then this episode, I get the feeling that the check to stop the dragon was either rigged for the sake of tension or was made easier with each failure. Having watched each episode up to this one I've simply noticed a lot of conveniences.
Two months in between this video, and the last video is actually pretty good Dingo. You’re doing a lot for these videos. Drawing, voice recording, editing. These things take time. Plus you’ve been maintaining the quality of your art. And then there’s real life that you have to tend to as well. You’re doing great! The part with Elowen talking with the group: 🤣🤣🤣 Whacking Sips/ “Silence!” “Wow, breaking out the old s*** for you guys” Elowen winning the bet Irina’s reaction to ANOTHER MECH-DRAGON!!! Xanu language blasting the group. Both Irina and Jack get migraines. The tension in the group. Yipes Sips. You could’ve killed your friends just to prove that you have your curse, magic, and Xanu’s power/partnership under control. I mean even the god inside you is saying this is a bad idea. Oof.
I realized sips' story completely mirrors zanu's story. something taken from were it belongs and forced to come to Consciousness and left with no control in its life. Eventually it has the opportunity to seize that control but in doing so they destroy themself.

Xanu
1:54 Sips looks so offended-
4:13 And I already love her. She's like Erina if she decided to become a tribal elder herself.
Very much Arina+Old Gothi
The possessed mech dragon just hovering there is somehow just so ominous, and in a way perfectly symbolizes Sips' current predicament. He's on the brink of catastrophe with his powers and the curse, but is barely holding on.
"you need to kill me"
sips: "that's... why I'm here"
this series means so much to me :) ive been here since episode 2 and watching the story grow and seeing the characters develop is so awesome
At 6:17 I was sort of expecting a “We want you to bring us a shrubbery” moment
HAHA
I love rewatching this series from the start and seeing the why her art style improved
Gothi geeking about the frog was cute
“Oh, please, I am the plan” is one of my new favorite quotes, right up there with LazyPurple’s “I *AM* THE DEFENSE!!”
Honestly, one every two months is a fantastic rate of turn out in my opinion. There's some content creators I follow that don't release more than once every 5-6 months
Only one episode into the portal and the "Foreclaimers have no empathy" narrative is already a hard sell.
4:25: Getting some crazy swamp witch vibes. Do all depowered Foreclaimers end up like that after a while?
They probably found a way to live low powered
Without the memory issues.
Dingo has truly mastered the art of making a 13-minute episode seem no longer than 3 minutes. I am super entranced in this world and these characters by now, currently rewatching the whole saga to spot little things i missed or forgot
You can't keep doing this to us Dingo
(In all seriousness I love the series)
Oh YAY! THIS kind of cliff-hanger is back. [smacks head into wall] I'm SO glad /s
Real talk, though, still in love with this story.
“I already hate her”
WELL TOUGH SIPS CAUSE I ALREADY LOVE HER!! 😂
i discovered dnd through the first episodes of your campaign when they came out way back, and now i’m in my first campaign!! it’s been a long ride, but i’m happy, and your videos are such a comfort to me. keep up the good work!!
Honestly, I'm really impressed that someone could make so many episodes of one thing on their own. Great one as usual!
This story has gotten so dramatic and tense. It's amazing to see how Dingo's storytelling has improved over the course of this incredible series.
Yay another episode! I love this series
We need a "yeah" face shirt like Gothi needs a flower toad.
I have been watching the whole series and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!
Buff mimic doing an elbow drop is something I didn't realize I needed in my life.
Love how the story has been going so far
Felix: Don't think about it too hard
Me whose brain has already self-imploded from thinking about it too hard: 😑
Two months in between this video, and the last video is actually pretty good Dingo. You’re doing a lot for these videos. Drawing, voice recording, editing. These things take time. Plus you’ve been maintaining the quality of your art. And then there’s real life that you have to tend to as well. You’re doing great!
The part with Elowen talking with the group: 🤣🤣🤣
Whacking Sips/ “Silence!”
“Wow, breaking out the old s*** for you guys”
Elowen winning the bet
Irina’s reaction to ANOTHER MECH-DRAGON!!!
Oof.
Gothi fangirling over the frog/toad/thing is one of the most adorable things to come from this series. 10 outta 10.
Oh ma gahd this journey just gets crazier with each upload awesome job on the animation as always!
Yeah, I'm calling it now, Xipsnu is gonna be the final boss of this campaign.
Immediately I love the Elowen. Got a bit of the Old Gothy energy
I realized sips' story completely mirrors zanu's story. something taken from were it belongs and forced to come to Consciousness and left with no control in its life. Eventually it has the opportunity to seize that control but in doing so they destroy themself.
Rolled real well on the “mysterious jungle civilization” roulette
Thank you for a new great episode of this amazing series
ohohoo brilliant last frame they r all looking to sips with varying expressions of fear, pity and more and sips is so CONFLICTED
OMG A NEW EPISODE! I love your vids ♡ definitely worth the wait ♡♡♡
I’m getting the dingo tingles. A new video will be uploaded soon
Damn! Another great episode and another hell of a cliffhanger! You keep nailing these episodes.
Elowen feels *very* Monty Python. Like a mix between the Knights Who Say Ni and the Frenchmen.
“It’s got a flower!” Gothi is me.
I jump out my seat every time we get a fools gold episode
And yes I agree the tension is forever high
Wheeeeew what an episode! Dingo, you are a master storyteller!
I have only known Elowen for a few minutes and I'm already getting Momma Odie vibes from Princess and The Frog and I love it! 😂
