I LOVE YOU GUYS! 😘
Gary is another one that is gone too soon. He poured his heart into his guitar.
Indeed.
Gary was one of the greats. Excellent lead player and singer as well.
Gary meant every note he played.
Indeed. Except for the final solo (and half of that) this is note for note and sustain for sustain exactly off the album track. Even the changes in the solo were to make it better (if that is possible) from the original he recorded. It's stunning.
Gary Moore played guitar at the frequency of my soul. I cried for two days upon his passing, and quite often whenever I listen to him .. like now .
Awwww, a true fan
I saw Gary Moore 4 times
He crushed the audience
Gary Moore was a fantastic guitarist gone too soon thank you for the beautiful music ❤👍🎸🙏god bless you 🙏
This song never gets old. His guitar sings right off the bat, then his voice, then his ending solo. He was simply an amazing musician.
I've listened to him a thousand times and still have the same reaction as you. Gary blows me away.
RIP Gary.
OMG, One of my favourites. Can’t wait for this. Edit: that was lots of fun. If you do want to be blown away even more with an instrumental then his cover version of The Messiah Will Come Again live in Montreux 1990 is breathtaking. The emotion in his playing is what I love the most.
Absolutely. The messiah will come again was epic.
Yes, please! ❤️
Just listen to Roy's Buchanan playing the Messiah will come. He wrote it and is definitely a forgotten wizard on the old geetar. Please listen to live version.in fact here u go
ua-cam.com/video/deeBQZ8Aklc/v-deo.html
IMO, that's the greatest musical performance I've ever seen, bar none.
I think his cover of THE MESSIAH WILL COME AGAIN may be the greatest guitar work ever recorded.
I'm 59 and have listened over the years to shit loads of top guitar solos . For me , this solo is tops . It has it ALL . Everything ! Jeez Gary !!
This guy belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of guitarist.
Gary Moore was one of the finest and most versatile guitarists ever.
This is why our parents say that new music is shit.
Only the true masters play with delicacy, eloquence and power. Gary is another of the greats that was gone too soon. For more Irish guitar brilliance check out a contemporary and great friend of Gary's, Rory Gallagher, who also passed away relatively young. Both are stunningly brilliant with no showy tricks.
I already adored your reaction videos, but seeing this one pop up, I knew Gary was going to floor you with his tone and technique! A brilliant player, and a great experience. Thanks Pink!
"The Messiah Will Come Again" by him ...wow!
Gary Moore is something extraordinary
pure emotion
I personally preferred Gary’s earlier rockier/metal period but this is an amazing tune, was lucky enough to get to see him a few times before he left us.
Gary had talent that not many have. He was a fantastic musician and to do both on stage play and sing as well as he did it is just incredible. These were the times of pure talent. If you didn't have it you just couldn't make it as simple as that not I'll make this for you and just sing it. No no you had to have it in you and none of that auto tune crap either everything LIVE.
And that's how one guitar can talk, cry and scream.
This song is perfect in every single way possible rest in peace Gary Moore
One of the greatest guitar player ever lived.
The best guitar player for me
How to make a guitar scream and cry. Beautiful 😎🎸🎸
Great Reaction, check out Gary Moore & Albert King video of them performing “Stormy Monday” live. Rock Blues at its best.
Blew me away for sure, so sad he is no longer here. I saw Gary open for Def Leopard and Krokus back in the 80s when he was primarily in a hard rock phase and he did most of the album Corridors of Power. Search for that album and take a listen on You tube, it is magnificent. One of many, he has tons of great albums. That song you just listened to is the title track of the album that made him a star in not only rock but blues as well. Amazing guitarist with a ton of great songs. Try Don't take me for a Loser, Cold Hearted and End of the World. Nice to see you again, please react to more rock as time permits, you get it. 😎Enjoy! 🎸
He was incredible. Nuff said.
He was one of the best.
I hope to see you do more of him! Parisienne Walkways is another great one! love your reactions! have an awesome weekend!
So much passion and heartache in this song.
Have been listening to him for many years and I believe this is one of his best vocals EVER! The guitar sounds pretty good, too!
What do you even say about this epic performance that encapsulates the spirit of the man. To distill this down into earthly meaning. I would say that at 6 minutes and 20 seconds in, we see a man that has now become a glorious God archetype. He is the God Hero Of Music and, we love him for it. It's only music until Gary shows how much accomplished at his craft, he is. This is pure and naked brilliance. Gary is a genius 👏
Been playing guitar for almost 30 years and for me he's the complete guitarist. Still got... - Tour was my first concert I ever went to here in Germany.
the best blues guitarest ever
I'm aware of Gary Moore and know he's one of those genius players that has a loyal following. I've listened a bit...but never really dove in to his music. I always plan to....but hasn't happened as of yet.
Well spoken!! I totally agree in all that you are saying. Thank you! RIP Master.
Legend 🎸👌
My favorite guitar solo ever
if you feel the song and you can make others feel it, a great singer and an amazing guitarist, rest in music heaven brother
The Messiah Will Come Again is another great song by Gary Moore. It's an instrumental, so you dont get to hear his voice, but his guitar wails.
Great choice - amazing player and singer
The best song of the 90's. Gary played for Thin Lizzy, off and on, and his solo work 9s sublime. Thanks for doing this! Other Gary Moore, Parisienne Walkways, Hurricane, Don't Believe A Word.
When Clapton decides to cover your song...it should tell you something.
Gary was born close to me in Northern Ireland.. I miss this sooooo much.. He'll be keeping the angels entertained lol :-)
You ve got to listen emty rooms live in Stockholm '87
Hi beauty ....I m Italian ....( you bravaaa)....this dude is my favorite of all time ( the G.O.A.T.) in my opinion in the last few minutes making letterarly crying his guitar .....O.M.GOOOOOD OF THE GOOOODSSS.....ciao bella
Also....the look on your face while checking out the music in your videos.....BRILLIANT! I love you!!
PinkMetalHead Best music review channel. Five out of Five stars * * * * * Luv you so much. When i need a release and to cry, this is where i go. Gary Moore and you, for ever.
If music from my childhood can bridge the gap between the young and old. Then it gives me hope for the future of mankind to live in peace and harmony.
I saw him in concert a few times, wonderful musician.
Incredible live performance by my favourite ever guitarist……great reaction ❤
Gary Moore a true Gutiar God..R.I.P Garry!!
Gary Moore is amazing try oh pretty woman or out in the fields he did that with Phil lynott of thin lizzy
I have watched several video reactions from other folks they all said the same thing about his guitar. He made his guitar cry. And it did have a spectacular voice. This is the first and only song I ever knew of his I never even knew of him before this. But you definitely enjoy this 100% you definitely were into the music. Thank you for this
Trouble aint far behind is an underarted classic by him 😃👌
so much emotion in his playing, check him playing shapes of things to come a hard rock song
You nailed it and quoted me that he "makes that guitar cry. " brilliant
Girl, if you liked that guitar play, check out Alter Bridge - Blackbird. If you want a tear jerker, try In loving memory as well. The base guitarist wrote that one after his mom passed away. Listen to the words
The guitar God. 🎸
Gives you goose bumps, doesn't it? You need to check out Blues For Narada. Incredible instrumental
Red house, Messiah will come again, parisieene walkways. All genius by Gary
Thank you Pink. You make it easy to miss our old music. Bless you.
Irish soul 🍀🍀🍀
Snigger ,,,,,,,Don`t know how to tell you but he is a Protestant from the North and wouldn`t identify as Irish.
One of the greats, gone way to soon
When my son joined choir in high school he talked the different types of male voices and types of songs. Anyway, I told him there was many ways to sing {I am not knowledgeable about singing}. I enjoy songs that tell stories or ones that men are not screaming. I had him listen to Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin, A Horse with No Name by America, and Stuck in the Middle with You by Scottish musicians Gerry Rafferty. What I don't like about music today is that the singers are all screaming to show how high they can go and/or their songs don't mean anything. We use to have great music. It's like they ran out of songs to sing. Like they ran out of stories for movies.
GREAT REACTION and I believe you are now ready for " Gary Moore-Parisienne Walkways-LIVE AT MONTREUX".
TEUST ME-THAT is the version to react to and ENJOY :)
Went to school with Gary, crazy guy even then.
This is true blues. It's comes deep inside. Excellent request.
God, I miss Gary … One of my favorite guitarists of all time. He just played with such feeling. PinkMetalHead …. You’re the BEST! :-)
I was late to Gary Moore too..maybe 1999. Wasn't soemthing I grew up with.
Wicked Game by Chris Isaac. You can watch any but there's one that (I think) still holds the record for best video ever.
I love your scrunched up rock face! Don't worry it looks better than most, including mine:)
Ireland can produce the best. R.i.p Gary.
This is the 2nd video I watched of yours. 1st video was Tender Surrender by Steve Vai.... much love from New Mexico 👽👽👽
Legend.
A perfect example of a Prom slow dance in the '80s. 12/10
My mother's wish is to be burried to this song. It's just such an amazing piece and the guitar isn't even an instrument in the hands of Gary More... it's the lead singer and Gary is just there as backup vocals.
Just, just, one, one, of the best......... Soul- blues😳😎💕
Já escutou Dire Straits, Gary Moore
Tenta Indiara. Brasileira q toca blues na gaita. Não vá chorar
Did you ever do parisienne walkways? It's actually even more emotional
Hello young lady .this is Bobby . Beautiful song .
*@PinkMetalHead, Have you heard "Gravity" by John Mayer?*
How did I miss this reaction!!? I LOVE Gary Moore. He was brilliant, and I vividly remember buying his album after only hearing 1 song. They are all gems. Thanks for this heartfelt reaction. Wow, you brought back some fabulous memories! 💓
You truly must check out his recording of "THE MESSIAH WILL COME AGAIN" which I consider to be the best guitar performance ever recorded by the man whom I consider to be the greatest guitar player that ever lived - and I've been a musician for 60 years.
RIP to Gary...
Perhaps no one has told you...That Guitar he's playing is quite a Famous, Legendary Instrument in it's own right - a 1959 Sunburst Gibson Les Paul affectionately known as 'Greeny' as it was owned by Peter Green, and sold to a teenage Gary when Peter retired from Music - Listen to "Albatross" by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, you'll be hearing the same Guitar SING !
ua-cam.com/video/gjOGaDseKgw/v-deo.html
lister to the loner ... its gary ..as a player to my ears he cant be topped .... he is fast but so melodic with it ...
So Beautiful... from the B3ginning...
Well Missy, if you never heard of Gary Moore before, you''re in the wrong business....
And when you want to listen to another great one from him, try "I love you more than you'll ever know" or "Out in fields" with him and Phil Lynott
This guy was very underrated, only he didn’t have any big hits as far as the charts were concerned. But if you really want to hear a guitar cry and sing, you must choose any B.B. King number( live would be better).
OMG girl Gary is a legend up with BB and Stevie Ray. Awesome!
Great song so glad u got to hear this 1
Music is it's own language
U heard the man
Please post more videos and keep up the great work love the reactions
One of the greatest ever! Thank you sir! RIP GM!
There is a cool song by The Lazy Eyes. It's called "Cheesy Love Song". It's a bit tongue-in-cheek and I think you might like it. Gary Moore may he RIP. Good selection to listen to waking up on a Saturday.
The next one to hit is Alvin Lee’s”The Bluest Blues”. It is my favorite to listen to.
Rory Gallagher - “Bullfrog Blues”.
Great review !
So good to see you pinky....keep pushing. Great reaction as always
