I'm an old 65 year old man. Older then I should be feeling I just wanted to say I really enjoy the way y'all listen to your music. It reminds me of my homeless days back in Dallas. We were always on the hunt for dope, weapons are women. 98% of the time we found none of these things. Eventually we fed into a small enclave of seven and eight people under a bridge on Highway 30 in Dallas.
Eventually we got bigger and took up underpasses on highway 45, Highway 30 and Highway 35.
We were known as the crupple-catcher-crusher.
This must be understood like between a Bradbury story, a Matheson book, Frankenstein, Revelation and decision time.

I remember buying Gary’s ‘Victims of the Future’ album in the mid-80’s and it was his voice as much as his guitar work that hooked me. Back then he was playing more a heavy rock style and he went to the blues thing in the 90’s. Either way, the guy is a legend of rock and of blues. When he hits those high notes on his Les Paul it’s like someone just poured warm honey in my ears.

It was the night England beat Belgium in the World Cup and Gary came back on stage at the end of gig to tell us England had won. Gary's music takes you places not many other musicians ever can.

I've grown up listening to amazing guitarists, be it Angus Young, be it Tony Iommi, be it Billy Gibbons, be it Brian May, be it David Gilmour, be it ... you get the drift. Really, truly great players - but not a single one of them made me go "THAT is what I want to be able to do!". Until Gary Moore came along with Still Got The Blues. The way he makes his guitar sing and wail in this song is responsible for me picking up the guitar. It's just something else. If you took the vocals away you'd still know what the song is about. He was so damn good emotionally and technically. He could go for a shred in an emotional song without it sounding out of place. He was incredible and he will always be my favorite player.

Comparing Hello to this shows her musical training. She's dead on and it was quite impressive. Well done. Steve

Saw Gary M. in a kind of basement under a pub in Manchester, mid-seventies. Had him just a couple of yards away. Colliseum II, perhaps.
    Mind-blowing and mystefying....

Gary Moore was a huge influence on my playing. He could explode with these fiery solos and turn on a dime and just tear your heart out with his soulful playing. Give Corridors of Power and Victims of the Future albums a spin. His live music is a grand slam! I miss Gary Moore. Thanks for sharing this moment!

This was the theme to a holiday I had in France many years - it seemed to be everywhere. Very much a feeling I got that I now associate with this song.

Gary Moore is one of the reasons I attempt to play guitar. Kel and Rich I love your reaction videos. I only wish I could have Kel’s gift of hearing these songs for the first time. What I would give to hear Stairway To Heaven, Jimi Hendrix’s strat again for the first time. From a fan from Toronto Canada god bless.

There's a couple of songs with that exact melody. It probably comes from an old jazz standard called "Autumn Leaves" written in the 40's

I was familiar with Gary Moore because of his work in Thin Lizzy but didn't get to see him until several years after that in 1983 when he was solo and opening up for Def Leppard. My best friend and I both went out the very next day looking for his new album at the time. Without a doubt, he blew everyone else off the stage that night.

I still remember the first time I heard this song while my wife was listening to Radio Delilah many years ago - it made me stop what I was doing to listen - I was blown away - it still gives me the tingles
