I am a first year collage student who have started his degree 12 years after A'levels. Due to this huge break in formal studies I had difficulties in understanding and recalling the stuffs that I did in my A' levels. However, with the help of this brilliant tutor I have build an excellent self confidence in Mathematics and studies has never been this easy...This is brilliant....May god bless all of you who works in this
To those of you who do Economics at degree level, I heavily reccommend ExamSolutions as he makes the maths a lot easier, espicially on topics such as this one, fractions, statistics, exponents, algebra and integration.
Does economic math get anymore complicated than A level math? The topics you listed are very simple at A lvl so far. And I’m considering an Econ degree

Then with the normal maths content expect, a lot of stuff on Differentiation, Integration, Partial Derivatives, Algebraic Manipulation and Indicies.
Inside the brackets, you need 2 integers which multiply to give -3(the c value of ax^2+bx +c), but add to give 2 (the b value of ax^2+bx +c). These integers are +3 and -1. Watch this video for more examples ua-cam.com/video/IPbJll1M3y8/v-deo.html

i have a question and i have to find the values for x using dy/dx
so i would i find values for x if y=x^1/2 - 2x and y=x +9/x?
omg I loved the ad!
Thanks really good :]

@@ExamSolutions_Maths Sir can you help me figure out , why a gradient is never negative ?
@@shubfearless9928 Gradients can be negative. Have you watched the gradient playlist? ua-cam.com/play/PL5pdglZEO3NjBLZAuWqz_WXq-b6TtY20P.html
got my pure maths mock for my ucas grades on monday… time to cram revision! 😂💀
Hi. How is there a +3 and -1 inside the brackets (the fourth part) 2:52 Thank you.
I don't quite understand how to do it.

Thank you
thankyou so much
+mily habte (saba) Pleased to be of some help.
im a bit confused are turning points the same as stationary points :S you dont have any videos on turning points :( please help!
ahh thanks got a bit confused!!
Thankyou
so how would u differentiate x squared + 6x?
2x+6
How did you do the factorization cuz usually we factorize in a way called the Middle Term but what was this??
It sounds like you do factorising by grouping. This method is by inspection. Look at this page.www.examsolutions.net/tutorials/factorising-quadratic-expressions/?level=A-Level&board=Edexcel&module=Pure-Maths-A-Level&topic=1172
What app do you use to edit these
how does differentiating 4 give us 0 . i mean 4 is basically having a power of 1 so 1*4^1-1 . hence 4^0 which equals 1 not 0?
4 is a constant and any constant differentiated is equal to 0 :)
bruh u cant differenttiate 4 cuz there is no x value with a power therefore abracadabra its gone
Basically constant are multiplied by x to the power 0 now when we differentiate x to the power 0 the answer comes 0...
YES!
thx
I never knew Gordon Ramsey did maths videos 😂
Thankyouuuuu ayyyyaaaaaa u saved my ass
Thx sir
Thanks for viewing
Like who is watching in 2023
What?? Still searching youtube for maths help. Are the videos from 2002-
Ive never heard more
how do you find stationary points if you cant differentiate directly
You should have went into more detail on the factorising part, never understood that part.
That is GCSE level factorisation, if you are doing this, you should know that by now.
y=-7 not -9??
JOSHUA IMADEIT huh
Thanks a lot sir.....read more
😊☺
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
WHERE DOES X-1 COME FROM
i swear -4 to the power of 0 is -1
Nope, any value (apart from 0) raised to the power of 0 is 1.
YOU DONT SAY OR WRITE DETAILS AT ALL LIKE WTF IS DIFFERENTIATE
Great video it helped me out alot in many situations!! :).
