Thanks for this video, it helped a lot, but I just have one question: when you're finding the equation for the surface area of the box, I noticed that you only took into account the outsides of the box, because you added each side once. In practical circumstances, wouldn't you include the surface area of the insides of the box as well by doubling each side, so the equation would instead be 486=2(2x^2+2xh+4xh)?
I don't know why this was so enjoyable. Thank you.
+Joseph Simeon Maths can be enjoyable - believe it or not.
+ExamSolutions kinda peaceful

Usually the thickness of the box is negligible
They have mentioned open box in question
@@vedantdesai9395 meaning what?
@@variszarins meaning that open side should not be consider
@@vedantdesai9395 what difference does it make, open or closed? It makes more sense not to take interior into account when the box is closed
So helpful!
Thank you
Fantastic video seeing as I've been having trouble with this.
It seems that you only take into account the surface area of the outside walls of the box and not the inside? Why is this?
Yeah thats what I thought too
It is mentioned that it is an open box
Vedant Desai the question he used looked shortened. All my Qs state whether the area given is external or internal
Thank you so much!!!!
Very helpful. Thank you😊
Thank you so much sir this helped a lot🙏🙏🙏
Thank You so much
what all volume formulas do you reckon we'll need in the exam?
Volumes of prisms ie (cuboids, cylinders) cones, spheres
@@ExamSolutions_Maths Thanks!! :)
thankyou!
Great video
thanks alot
+Mr. Loooka You're welcome
thank you so much!
everythinglost123 That's okay. I am glad it helped and thanks for using.
Will this come up in C1 ? because if it does im screwed lol.
+Rmiah13 C2
This question is flawed. What if someone included the interior sides of the box when calculating the surface area, since it is open
But u chose V against X ? Not H ?
ahh this is so long lol
this is very long
this is hard :/
