@@donaldzuramp4404 having a GTI doesn't stop people from buying the Golf R. It's totally a different class and the delta between the Si and Type R is too vast for the body type availability to affect sales of the CTR.

Same performance, with a little less tech for $7,000 less so.. then buy yourself a set of snow tires if you need them with the extra cash I'm planning on get the Kia Forte GT in a month, turbocharged as well and I like the look of it as well!!
you forgot the other changes. the 2020 model now has push button start and smart key fob compared to the 2019 model which has a physical key and the ignition switch. overall, nice review!
I have a 2019, I love it with exception of the touchscreen, It looks the same software on the 2020. Its very laggy and needed to be updated. Also Auto Brights are good for head on cars but blinds people from behind.
A hot hatch needs an excellent transmission. I'm wondering how the 6M of Civic Hatch Sport will transform your view of this hot hatch. Thanks for great reviews!
@Elias Sanchez no, the limited slip, the si suspension, adaptive dampers, different turbo, the non si drives really different. Believe me if that were the case, I'd have bought a hatch, but the si just had what I needed. With out limited slip it kinda kills it for me.

I just was not a fan... If they put an lsd in it.... And a little stiffer suspension tuning. I would have bought it. It was nice... But it wasn't as fun as the si... The si is a bargain... Its no dream car... But for what you get... The price is kinda unbeatable.

Six speed manual trans. Stick , I don't have the car yet, living in Canada it takes a while to get it from England. I will let you know, but I know I will not be disappointed. I test drove one, from my opinion the gear ratio is a lot smoother then my 2003 Toyota Celica.

Honda is scared of a 6spd manual Hatch 🐣 Si. A Civic Hatch Si & an Accord Hatch Si is what needs to happen, yet they continue with sedans and coupes. I have a 2019 CiVic Hatch Sport, 6spd manual with silver TSW mesh wheels, so I’m kinda’ aware of the untapped potential 😃. A hatchback is even more real world than an SUV, if you ask me 🤷🏽♂️
What about the Engine issue with oil delution?? Don't you wanne review that one?? And, is the GDI engine make the carbon build up?? What about that?? It's just a common small engine with TGDI Issue

Damn kinda regretting my 2018 ex hatch right now. This is the trim i definitely would have gotten had it been available two years ago. the 2018 sports trim was just to basic and didnt have all the tech this one has. =(
@@marko-ino in america, the only version that has turbo is ex and above. Sport sedan, coupe or hatch never had turbo. It has touch screen, bigger wheels and the little spoiler

I found the paddle-shifting to be pretty enjoyable on the hatch but yes I want to see how much more life a 6 speed adds to it.

Car and driver magazine tested both the 174 hp CVT and the 6 speed Si, and the CVT was faster to 120 mph, though the Si had the higher top speed!

Yup if you wanne to keep your car as long as possible stay away from that engine, that have small engine withy turbo with GDI just stay away

The cvt on this car is trash. 6spd manual is the only way to go.
6 spd is always better but the CVT performed pretty good I got to say, especially with the paddle shifters. The simulated shifts were on point.
