@@infinitus7363 and how is that a problem, exactly? Ubisoft has proven that they can totally reinvent the gameplay of the franchise as well as focusing on virtually any point in human history. This is probably, narratively speaking, the most versatile franchise in all of gaming. And they're clearly not limited to previously established gameplay conventions either. Ubisoft struck gold with this series, as there's nothing in this franchise that can prevent them from totally revamping the gameplay, and nothing that can prevent them from completely reimagining how the narrative can work. This is a franchise totally freed from the shackles of sticking to previously established benchmarks and realism

I hope Origin will treat Templar right, especially after Syndicate(you can have as many self-righteous monologue cutscenes as you want, it still didn't give your villain depth if they barely interact with the protagonists!)

i am confused. according to AC ORIGINS the Templar order began with the order of the ancients on Egypt but according to this video the Templar have existed long before the civil war o Egypt. so is the order of the ancients the true first iteration of the Templar order or it is just a different manifestation of the Templar on Egypt?

Not sure if you noticed but we don’t see the order form in AC origins. There’s no evidence in origins to say that that’s when the order first formed. Origins is the story of the origins of the assassins brotherhood NOT the the Templars.
Bayek came to life after the order was already there...so thats a good quest to research
