Assassins creed and halo have the best written lores in gaming, IMO. The way they pull real-world beliefs and then twist and turn them into a new story is incredible.
Thank you for putting this together. After the ISU stuff became more and more peripheral from the main story plots in the games I've slowly become less able to keep up.
Thank you so much for the video. You've put really a lot of effort into this. Indeed, a complete Isu History based on the each and every little details and hints we have so far! Really a great work!
So the Norse gods and Greek gods were actually separate groups. Has there been any mention if the Egyptian gods were separate or were they the Greek gods also?
@King Croc yeah I always got the vibe that was what was originally intended but somewhere along the lines they changed. To be honest I'm more ok with that than this dual protagonist male/female weirdness they tried to pass off
Egyptian Gods were separate. Greek and Roman Gods could be the same. As Jupiter also translates to Zeus in Greek. And we see Suttngr(Jupiter) use lighting attacks against Odin.
@@beastman8616 Reading your two comments back to back made me realise one of the reasons they could be doing dual male/female protagonists is actually to set up an Isu era game where you play as Adam and Eve
Here is a ac game idea. Basically you get to choose if you are gonna play a human, isu or hybrid character with each one having its own unique racial skills. In the game you can craft any weapon that was already in the previous games. Craft any Armor that was in the game. You are encouraged to make a guild and with your guild make a guild base. The guiled base can be whatever you design from a large castle to a city or a tomb( kind of like overlord). The guild would let you have npcs that you could completely design. From their appearance to their personality(let them have flavor texts, a little bio were you could write their personalitys but it dosn't have anything to do with the game, just a lore thing). Now the main thing that will really sell the guild base is the fact that without a guild base you can't respawn. We 'll make a lore thing were a guild base will have a super computer that can let you respawn. If you don't play with friends or are a solo player it can be a secret labratory. They still have all the guild base functions but severally limited.
Thank you for this video. I recently played Valhalla. To be honest it was my first AC game( kind of odd Ik ), but as a completionist I finished everything and was left bewildered by the happenings and the events. This video makes sense to the parts of my confusion. As a lore fan of games like of dark souls and all. I appreciate this effort. Thanks. FYI- The sound needs a bit of work but nothing of fault I found in that . Keep it up.
Amazing video brother. It cleared the things I already believed. But can you direct me to those happenings that are not in games? Like Desmonds son, Junos human body .... It’s the first time I see those parts of whole AC lore
I don't remember any of the scenes shown in this video, between Desmond and Juno in AC3, aside from the ending and aside from when she tells him her husband Aita's story.
Thank you for putting the time and effort into making the video, I've recently rediscovered my interest in Assassins Creed (it never really left, I just stopped playing the games for a bit 😅) and the lore behind the story is something that really interested and fascinated me, along with my interest in mythology which arguably increased from playing some of the recent AC games and which tied in with the Isu in the AC universe, so being able to learn so much about the Isu in one informative video was very helpful
Wow I am just playing my first proper AC title on syndicate and after seeing juno wanted to know the lore. IT IS GOD DAMN AWESOME. Thanks for the amazing compilation!
I don't know how many of you know but the Lore that they put in the Assassin's Creed series is very inspired by actual real life stories of humanity I've been passed down from generation to generation
Well no shit I’m pretty sure everyone knew that when AC2 arrived the developer’s themselves never shut up about how they tried to get each famous face accurately lined up to their real death dates and the eras they lived in even then if they were wrong they still managed to get it near perfectly right. That’s the reason AC is more than a game the amount of intelligence, thought and art that went into these games is insane and that’s why the newer ones never appeal to us older fans they aren’t on that level anymore pal
At the start it was a fresh and thought provoking story about precursors and adam and eve and so on. The new games however keep making it more complex to encompass whole mythologies.
It's sad. Kassandra lived far longer than anyone from her time and died when she was no longer of use to Alethia. And Layla lost her mind ( More than she already has ) and was tricked and now spends her entire existence in the tree of life if that's what its called.
I think Alethia might be angry about Loki leaving her in that staff still. He got to be reborn and live in an Animus where he had control. She did all the dirty work while losing herself. She spent longer than any Isu trapped until Kassandra/Alexios found her. They spent a longer time together than her and Loki. Even seeing Layla kill Victoria showed her how she got to where she was. She may have been in love but she had the time to think .
If Asgard was just Eivors interpretation of Odins (ISU) memories, than it begs the question of what is the real story behind Odin, Loki, and Fenrir. Was Fenrir really a wolf? That doesn't seem right to me. I would love some clarification about that.
My guess is that Fenrir was a creation of the Olympos Project.....the same project that created Medusa, the Minotaur, etc. Loki and Aleithia could have mutated their son into a wolf-human hybrid and Eivor, seeing the Isu memories through the lens of his culture, interpreted Fenrir as an actual wolf, only bigger.
@@AverageJoe87 im sorry but i disagree, that makes no sense, why would they mutate fenrir? It states that that project was experimental and no one would subject their son to that.
Odin and others were warriors still, just with lots of tech, which is missing in Norse tales, replaced by magic. Odin shares the same arrogant bi-polar attitude that other big alphas such as Poseidon and Zeus possesses.
14:50 the Voynich manuscript was determined to be written in Turkish, or at least a regional/proto-dialect iirc. Regardless I love the Anunnaki story being adapted for such a popular franchise, Origins was probably my favourite game for fathoming the esoteric right beside Destiny..
I always theorised that the voynich is either the works of an inside backwards language which only very few knew of OR it was just one of the many undeciphered languages which exits or have yet to be discovered today
Thanks! Loki, according to myth and legend, is half Aesir/half Jotnar, so basically he's from parents from two different castes. Aletheia is Jotnar. In Valhalla, she's known as Angroboda, so it wouldn't be surprising that he happened to meet her at some point in his life. The castes do discriminate, yes but they aren't forbidden from all kinds of interaction.
They met on Isu tinder. He payed 25 isu dollars for a gold account and he noticed that she already swiped right for him. He knew his dad would not aprove . But he couldn’t help himself so he also swiped right and they met up for a drink probably some pro secco, because he tried to impress her. She was always a sucker for a drink and after a few they kinda ended up dating in secret.
Well done. The only correction id make is that the isus sixth sense was not knowledge. It was eagle vision. A form of synestesia. The ability to smell sounds. See taste. Ect. Basicly combining all senses.
Love how radically advance they were like the Forerunners in Halo. Mastering the laws of physics itself & having nano-technology that can access the 11 dimensions of spacetime & other realities.
@@MindToPage In the games, one of the characters made that comment. 😆 They were tooo culturally prideful to leave Earth, thinking they can solve everything with technology which was their biggest downfall.
Its because everything they tell you is true and non of it is mythology but these spiritual beings telling you the story through all forms of media including video games. They are the fallen angels and they want you to believe a false history of the universe. They will tell you everything they can make up but will never tell you the truth that these beings are in rebellion against their creator the only way humanity can be saved is through the creator made flesh, who took on the penalty of sin and rebellion and his name is Yeshua Hamachiach. Repent and accept him as your lord and saviour and you can be saved.
The way you presented the information was very impressive! Rarely do I see video game lore videos that are so nicely structured and have such a variety and range of words! My hat's off to you, my friend.
When I played Assassin's Creed Valhalla for the first time I was kind of pissed off that they change the precursors language (the letters) but then I went back to Assassin's Creed 2 because I kept thinking to myself that looks familiar but it looks different, and then found that it was the same letters in the vault, I guess it's just been so long since I've seen them again that I forgot what the heck they looked like. I guess the point I'm making is it's nice to see some consistency in the franchise again which is been gone for a while
@@RinoTheBouncer I truly appreciate the effort you put into these videos. You’re doing a great job. My only criticism was the pronunciation of Yggdrasil.
It's quiet intresting how ac lore pushes the Isu. The theory that a advanced human civilisation existed prior 12000 years has huge evidencetal weight. They were destroyed by a micronova from the sun.
@@baneofbanes It does. There is already evidence of a massive global flood taking place during that time. And how the Sahara was a green paradise. And, no. There is no evidence that dynastic Egyptians built the pyramids with saw and hammer. That's a clumsy guesswork by mainstream Anglo-Saxon academics who never visited Egypt.
I was dissapointed that Aletheia tuened out to be Angbroda, Loki / Her have been manipulating everyone from the beginning: Desmond, Alexios/Kassandra, Layla. All for a vendetta against Odin. Maybe the Templars are not that wrong. I respected King Alfred when he disbanded the Order bc it went against his Christian Principles. If we could get another game like Rogue, i´m game
my man the audio in this video is horrendous, and I'm not even talking about your voice, everything is just so quiet and I have my volume on max... makes it hard to watch.
You forgot to mention "The Truth" and how intergral it was to knowing the true origins of the Assassins and Templars and how Juno told all of this to Clay as a means of telling Desmond
I will confess I picked up AC Valhalla because I love Norse culture, it seemed up my alley. The open world RPG style catered to me after playing The Witcher and Skyrim. Some events from Valhalla made no sense to me, the Isu for one, being that Valhalla was my first AC game. This video was very insightful and I thank you for the mountain of information.
Hey dude! Are Odin Loki and the others in Asgard really ISU? Or are they part of the humans who rebelled against the ISU? In Eivor's visions of Asgard all the ISU were represented as blue giants and had other humans for servants (as we already know the ISU had human slaves). But Odin and the others are human in the visions. So my theory is that either they are not ISU, but human rebels, or they are some kind of hybrids. Just wondering what`s your take on this :)
Hey! The Odin, Loki and the rest are all indeed Isu. The reason they have the Jotun (blue people) and the Aesir (Odin, Freyja and Tyr) it’s a representation of the Caste System in Isu society. They treated each other differently based on Casts. For more detail, please watch this: ua-cam.com/video/eaFhu0NXUgo/v-deo.html
Can't believe assassins creed been telling the truth of our rich history all this time. Ubisoft always surprises me with the amount of research they put
I think Desmond and Laila are descendants of Adam and Eve, half issu half human, just like Kassandra, and that it will play a great role in future games
Can i tell this thing. How about Ubisoft make Assassin Creed Mamluk.(Mamluk is elite army from slaves)the character for protagonist is Jamal Ahrul Biyan. He want to defeat the last Templar kingdom named Georgia. His adventure he will find salahuddin al ayyubi. Sorry my bad english,i still learn.
Like the war between Assassins & Templars, maybe the ISU were fighting a shadow war amongst themselves, Pantheons from different parts of the world fighting for control until someone pressed the reset button aka the doom.
Definitely, yes. The War of Unification was one of their conflicts (likely the last major one) and they also did have conflict between regions and castes like Asgard and Jotunheim or Hades vs. the Council, as I mentioned in the video.
i wanted to share my own finding on eivor / odin relationship sigurd, who mostly accepted his ISU characteristics, lost his arm, just like Tyr did eivor, who rejected Odin completely did not lose her eye yet. i think this tells us that Eivor succesfuly casted out Odin from her own fate, and as a result, shenever lost her eye. if she ends up losing hereye in future dlcs, however, this might not hold true but if its intentional, its most likely a very cool detail. i like to think that this is intentional i hope year 2 dlcs can explore on fenrir/loki ISU story, but not via norse-representation ,but rather a direct ISU representation! i would like to see ISU lore expanded even further. at first, it seemed like all ISU were belonged to a singular community, but as it turns out, there are castes... how did they split up, why did they split up, what kind of differences they had, so much possibilities to explore there may even be ISU castes who defended humanity's freedom, who knows?
Yes. I want that. I don't like having some mythological fantasy lense over the events that happen. Like we do get to see their installations & assets directly throughout the IP, its no secret there, Isu have some pretty advance tech. But I would like to see it directly as it is or was.
my first ac game was origins and when i saw the isu stuff with the hyena bit, needless to say, wtf. super cool vid very informative for me continue making more content
An amazing work as always man!👍 But aita already existed as John standish till 2013, with elijah already living for many years, so I think that aita's consciousness will probably not take over Elijah's body...
What of Fenrir as he is Loki's son with Alitheia. He was bound to survive Ragnarok while eating the flesh of the aesir and vanir. Basim being the reincarnation of Loki even says at the end that he will be looking for he's children.
@@nilsbonnefoy No your English is good bro. Also there was a guy in modern day from one of the assassins creed books who called himself The Fenris Wolf (who is Fenrir). It’s not been confirmed whether he really was Fenrir tho.
Fascinating content and great job! Could anyone please advise me on an order to go through the source materials (games, comics, novels, EVERYTHING) the best possible way to deep-dive into the Isu lore? I’ve been a fan since 2007 and honestly this lore is what excites me the most about Assassin’s Creed. Thank you!
Ubisoft defo read some of the older Graham Hancock books and books from ppl like him. The Isu lore is straight up a dramatized/ sci fi version of their hypothesis
Great video, I don’t mind spoilers as I tend to forget things like this; I also wonder what would happen if a remnant of the Isu civilization had survived and kept their tech up until modern day.
it's hard to keep up with the mysterious Isu story with all the modern characters (after Desmond) treating the lore with MCU humor and Yass queen personality
The elysium stuff throws me off HARDDD. Yanno cuz i assumed this WHOLE TIME Jupiter and zeus were the same guy...like theres Roman AND Greek Isu UGHH . lolol Annnnnd i read that letter when i played valhalla but never thought to look up those names of the Father Mother and Voice......its the Demiurge. 3 in 1 Evil creator entity from Gnosticism...what is Ubisoft planning?!! Im sooo curious now.
It's really difficult trying to visualise ISU civilization through Evoir's Norse mythology.... I find myself Googling the names like "Aesir" to find out what they're referencing.... A game set throughout the ISU - human war, leading upto, and possibly DLC after the great disaster would be amazing! 🤔
This guide was brilliant and well made. Same critisisems as other comments though, audio issues and stuff. Also, some words were prononced wrong, Yiggdrasil for example should be prononced "IG- Drass-Seel" instead of "Ig-Drassle". Still, great vid!
I would like to give you some constructive criticism great video but idk if you have a fan in the background but soemthing is very noisy being picked up by your mic and you should try to do something about that.
The Isu 6th sense is not knowledge... it's seeing time, thats how they know where Ezio or Desmond will be. In Brotherhood Juno said knowledge is locked away, she means that Knowledge from the 6 sense was locked away so humans wouldn't be able to have this sense

It could be two or even three hour long video but I will watch it with a great pleasure!! Besodes you can split it to 3 parts for example and make it into the the modern day series ))
I’m gonna work on that, yes! I just need some time to gather all the data.
@@RinoTheBouncer Cool! I will wait impatiently for that!!
How much did you smoke dude????
Awesome work mate, the isu lore and modern day overarching plot is the dangling carrot that keeps me invested in the series
To be honest I'm more ok with that than this dual protagonist male/female weirdness they tried to pass off
@King Croc I think it would be cool to see a game set back in the Isu era for real that explores them more and could see different factions at war
Super interesting.. I can't even try to imagine how much work was put into making this
Thank you for this video.
Keep it up.
I was confused as hell as well
@@juliusmy3369 I feel ya
Amazing video brother. It cleared the things I already believed. But can you direct me to those happenings that are not in games? Like Desmonds son, Junos human body .... It’s the first time I see those parts of whole AC lore
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Basically those are spread out in the comics, most specifically Uprising.
@@RinoTheBouncer Thank you for your response. If you can, please make a video about comics. Or just tell me the list, I need to get them now :D
Content for History tv channels at night
I hope there will be an update that includes ac mirage lore. Great video by the way. Thanks!
This video is of the highest quality. Good job! I hope your channel grows and you keep doing videos such as this one.
This is a professional presentation
Best explanation about isu..
Much appreciated🙏🏼
@@RinoTheBouncerbro... Then where is zeus.. And other gods? (Like Egyptian, indian)
All gods are isus? According to AC lore?
Is it possible to enable subtitles?
This is why your my favorite Assassin's Creed channel. Super in depth and interesting
So..Alethia used kassandra and Layla
For her husbands ( Loki ) “ resurrection “
Exactly she only wanted to find him..
It's sad. Kassandra lived far longer than anyone from her time and died when she was no longer of use to Alethia. And Layla lost her mind ( More than she already has ) and was tricked and now spends her entire existence in the tree of life if that's what its called.
And too say I liked Alethia at one point
I think Alethia might be angry about Loki leaving her in that staff still. He got to be reborn and live in an Animus where he had control. She did all the dirty work while losing herself. She spent longer than any Isu trapped until Kassandra/Alexios found her. They spent a longer time together than her and Loki. Even seeing Layla kill Victoria showed her how she got to where she was. She may have been in love but she had the time to think .
It's kinda sad, all this war, all the ezio story, altaïr... just for loki's reborn
@@AverageJoe87 there are stories of Atlantis where they did mess with human cloning and hybrids too so that has some weight behind it
@@AverageJoe87 im sorry but i disagree, that makes no sense, why would they mutate fenrir?
Great video! Don’t suppose you can figure out how Loki met Alethia?
But where unable to space travel so where stuck on a planet that was doomed and where locked in a war with primitive humans.
@@MindToPage
In the games, one of the characters made that comment. 😆
They were tooo culturally prideful to leave Earth, thinking they can solve everything with technology which was their biggest downfall.

Thank you for making this video bro, you did great and I love it. Keep up the good work.
I guess the point I'm making is it's nice to see some consistency in the franchise again which is been gone for a while
Solid work. Every time you say “Yggdrasil”, I die a little inside.
Persephone.
Thank you! Hehehehe 🤣 is that good or bad?
@@RinoTheBouncer I truly appreciate the effort you put into these videos. You’re doing a great job. My only criticism was the pronunciation of Yggdrasil.
It's quiet intresting how ac lore pushes the Isu. The theory that a advanced human civilisation existed prior 12000 years has huge evidencetal weight.
They were destroyed by a micronova from the sun.
No it doesn’t.
You put alot of work in this video I appreciate it bro
Much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@RinoTheBouncer this deserves atleast 600k views
my man the audio in this video is horrendous, and I'm not even talking about your voice, everything is just so quiet and I have my volume on max... makes it hard to watch.
I know I'm being nit picky but Witcher is Polish.
I think the next installment of AC will be based out of one of the Asian civilization... Good video brother!
🤫
Recommendations get a pop shield and choose a mic volume and stick with it. Otherwise amazing collection of information
Change Isu for Annunaki 👁
Yes that what i do
Like the war between Assassins & Templars, maybe the ISU were fighting a shadow war amongst themselves, Pantheons from different parts of the world fighting for control until someone pressed the reset button aka the doom.
Definitely, yes. The War of Unification was one of their conflicts (likely the last major one) and they also did have conflict between regions and castes like Asgard and Jotunheim or Hades vs. the Council, as I mentioned in the video.
It’s very Stargate with a ancient race living on Earth before us
Why there is no sub titles ? I try to understand without them but this is pretty hard ^^
What happened to your sound?
i wanted to share my own finding on eivor / odin relationship
sigurd, who mostly accepted his ISU characteristics, lost his arm, just like Tyr did
eivor, who rejected Odin completely did not lose her eye yet. i think this tells us that Eivor succesfuly casted out Odin from her own fate, and as a result, shenever lost her eye. if she ends up losing hereye in future dlcs, however, this might not hold true
but if its intentional, its most likely a very cool detail. i like to think that this is intentional
i hope year 2 dlcs can explore on fenrir/loki ISU story, but not via norse-representation ,but rather a direct ISU representation!
i would like to see ISU lore expanded even further. at first, it seemed like all ISU were belonged to a singular community, but as it turns out, there are castes... how did they split up, why did they split up, what kind of differences they had, so much possibilities to explore
there may even be ISU castes who defended humanity's freedom, who knows?
Yes. I want that. I don't like having some mythological fantasy lense over the events that happen. Like we do get to see their installations & assets directly throughout the IP, its no secret there, Isu have some pretty advance tech. But I would like to see it directly as it is or was.

An amazing work as always man!👍
But aita already existed as John standish till 2013, with elijah already living for many years, so I think that aita's consciousness will probably not take over Elijah's body...
Yeah, more than one Sage can exist at the same time. So we could probably see someone else surface, unless the Koh-i-Noor affects Elijah in some way.
What of Fenrir as he is Loki's son with Alitheia. He was bound to survive Ragnarok while eating the flesh of the aesir and vanir. Basim being the reincarnation of Loki even says at the end that he will be looking for he's children.
Imagine someone in the modern day with the name "Fenrir" and put on this guy an Isu blood ? TAKE MY MONEY I'M IN ( sorry i'm french)

Hi can you do a video about reda
~27:18 "From the year 431 BCE" Wait, so did he do this before he reincarnated as Basim?
this is awesome, it really shed some light on the lore thanks
So basically the entire ac story exists Bc of Loki manipulating time being doctor strange 😭😂
The Isu knowing multiple languages, could that not be linked to there 6th sense? They can instantly absorb what they need to know.
I need someone to explain to me why subject 16 asks demond to meet eve of eden
Great video, I don’t mind spoilers as I tend to forget things like this; I also wonder what would happen if a remnant of the Isu civilization had survived and kept their tech up until modern day.
I think Faravid is Juno reincarnation it says on the bio thing on wiki when I looked up Faravid
Damn, They are kinda like the Engineers from Alien vs Predator Universe :O
it's hard to keep up with the mysterious Isu story with all the modern characters (after Desmond) treating the lore with MCU humor and Yass queen personality
The Isu are the most fascinating part of the AC games.
Dude sounds like Eivor suffering from a cold.
😂😂
Why did you use the ankh for the rebel symbol?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Which rebel symbol?
It's really difficult trying to visualise ISU civilization through Evoir's Norse mythology.... I find myself Googling the names like "Aesir" to find out what they're referencing.... A game set throughout the ISU - human war, leading upto, and possibly DLC after the great disaster would be amazing! 🤔
What is the stuff from 8:10 from?
Mimir=Consus?
Hey Rino, I have won your ac valhalla season pass giveaway but how will we proceed with that?
Then doesn't it mean that the ISU would be able to "Unlock" the sense, or the key actually lies in ISU TNA??
Can you enable CC captions so I can mute this???
Wait so are the aesir the same as from Odyseey?
Resembles the annuaki scriptures about there was multiple beings rather than a 1 god but they made humans originally.
Yeah, Annunaki and Ancient Astronauts Theories are the main inspiration for the Isu lore.
