I think at this point he has tried so hard to hate on the brand he would look foolish if he flipped. Regardless of all Hublot does, 50 day power reserve, incredibly difficult ceramics (red, blue, yellow his partner was making fun of), incredible designs and in house movement production Nico has to stick to his original posts. It’ll be fun to watch him “flip” his feelings.
Said a quick hello to Nico when he was queuing near the beginning. It is obvious he is a genuine guy who appreciates the love he gets from fans and means everything he says on his videos. This guy deserves everything he has achieved and more.
The honesty with the Dutch watch guy would make me want to buy a watch ! It’s pointless but we made it 👊🏻no nonsense sales pitch 🤣 Give it a few years Nico will be a Hublot brand ambassador
Brilliant. I love honesty and transparency. We’re past the point of sales tactics and nonsense. Say it like it is and let the public decide. And Hublot is shit. Nico is my favorite short c*nt.
Its technically not useless, but they didnt want to bother explaining it all to Nico. Its done to avoid damaging gearteeth when resetting the chronograph, all for longevity.
Love to see you and Christian together. You, Theo & Harris, Andrew of Watchfinder, Urban Gentry and Mad Watch Collector are my UA-cam Watch Voltron Lions.
Make sure you watch all the way through because at 9:24, Nico meets the Hublo representative and it's very funny and a little awkward to say the least!😂😂
I think Longines and Tudor both surpass Omega and a few other brands. What you get for your money is insane value and I especially love the Zulu time and GMT offerings from both companies.
Who’s been here since before he changed the name from Pride and Pinion? Been watching you since literally since your first video’s with the long hair! Absolutely love watching you grow man, it’s been fun!
Nico, Don't ever change. I watched this whole video and you are always the guy that people want to talk to and the guy that just lights up the room. Everyone loves that guy and its a lot of fun to watch you on UA-cam because of that. So stay cool and stay Classy brother.
I love watch talk conversation with difference in opinions like this and I been watching Theo & Harris for several years before drifting away from them a couple years ago, I enjoyed the segment with Christian and his father Wine & Watches
Nico so mad at grand seiko’s innovation on watch movements but so proud of his comrade dutch’s made gimmicks. Nico need not to be biased and be truthful about watch
I’ve been trying to buy a Casio for the last 3 months but every where is sold out ! Thanks a lot Nico! Thanks to you I can buy 6 invictas for the price of 2 but 0 Casios. P.s Christian Zeron is the man !

@@Nxman.G Yea, but let me try the Citizen Promaster first and see if it doesn't look ridiculous on my tiny wrist, because the Duro fits larger. Otherwise, will be double disappointment.
This is probably my favourite watches and wonders video of all time because nico's video is so informal unlike any other that makes it stands out! Another great video Nico!
He’s right about Tudor. I’ve had my black bay S&G for 5 years and it’s never gone wrong and even after wearing the hell out of it still looks brand new, apart from the clasp of course. So much watch for the price especially when compared to my Rolex GMT rootbeer. Hublot bit was funny. He’s also right again hublot are 💩

Bought my first Tudor a year ago and I said it then, Tudor quality is unbelievable and rivals Rolex in terms or desirability and accessibility. Big Fan of Tudor.
I can't blame him. A Grand Seiko will mess up your mental health. "What watch is that?" "A Grand Seiko". "Ah, a Seiko" Every damn time, I'm telling you.

Nico , do a review of the watch scene in Pulp Fiction. I ask because I have been following you for some time and love the content but to be frank I think many watch collectors miss the point if owning a watch , most seem to be connected to value and prestige and virtually none understand what a watch that’s lived it’s life at the same timeline as yours and has been with you through all of it . Watches are one of those rare commodities that if you buy one and keep it for lifetime can be an emotional and spiritual connection to every momentous moment in your life, to the point that that trying to value them based on technical or manufacturing prowess is pointless . Case in point , watch the scene and then ask yourself how much money do you think Butch would accept for his grandfathers watch ? Answer , there is not enough money in the world that could buy it. Perhaps it would be a great service you could perform to those of us that can only afford one high end watch in their life and that will be with them all their life to recommend what watch would you choose if it is the only statement watch you will ever buy . Keep in mind it has to last a lifetime of abuse and use and then be passed on to future generations without having to be virtually remade from scratch for 150 years . Can you do it or just another watch trader ?
fair play on Tudor cus I have been debating on what I should work towards an omega or Tudor but once I seen the prices for the black bay compared to the aqua terra, its much more attractive than omega and the sizes available are just perfect yk I also love the way the yellow and black of Tudor looks.

Hey Nico. Can you make a repair or a video of repair tools you recommend? Just asking because you stated in a video that you miss repairing watches. Love you work by the way. Because of you I started collecting and also trying to fix broken watches.
As an slgh005 owner I actually was hoping that Nico could call out GS on a more serious note. There are many videos and online posts talking about how bad their quality control is and how their watches are running faster than the claimed range, which itself is already inferior to say Rolex or master chrono standard. Meanwhile you've got Hodinkee guys deep in their pocket and all that they can say in their video is "it didn't happen to me". I'm saying this because i still like GS craftsmanship and I hope they do better. They should get their basics right before doing all those limited nature inspired stuff because it's getting very difficult to justify spending 2 or 3x the price of a very reliable Tudor for a less accurate and less anti-magnetic watch.
Hey man, SLGA009 owner here. I went with the Spring Drive because it's basically Grand Seiko's proprietary tech. Part of me is wondering if QC issues is either 1) they're mostly focusing on SD because that's where a lot of GS interest comes in and it's their "exclusive" cash cow, or 2) they've just expanded internationally too fast and the mechanical watches they're sending abroad don't go through the same QC as their Japanese domestic pieces. FYI no problems with my SLGA009 so far (knock on wood).
I like to compare Nico’s relationship to brands he shits on to the way South Park shits on Family Guy: Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Nico Leonard will shit on them all day, but they acknowledge that there are some truly talented people working there that probably need to work harder, and that there’s a huge loyal fanbase for it.
Kudos to that Hublot representative guy for standing his ground, giving Nico some credit, and silently promoting the brand a bit all at the same time
