If ai does get to the point of sentience, we should do our best to explain and showcase how humanity got to where we are now, and hopefully said ai will develop similarly to a human child in its (much faster) learning of the value and significance of the human race and its history.

SIVA was created for the creation of future settlements as humanity was planning on colonizing other planets and moons. He used it kill Felwinter since he was created by Rasputin but then revived by the Traveler and he couldn't control him anymore. The Iron Lords were just there and died with him except Saladin. Also, Willa Bray created SIVA with another scientist, not Clovis.

we need to remember that rasputin was litrely made by clovis and likely clovis had alot to do with some of his "insticts" and while he is civil his base self was made by clovis and the reason he is the person he is today is both due to anna helping him grow and the mistakes he made during and after the collapse and felwinters death.
to use an example would be to compare him to a child raised by an abusive parent to be their tool but having gotten away due to a family member that saved them and helped them get out of that situation. Look up a Destiny rise of Iron playthrough, then a season of the Warmind playthrough, then watch a couple of Byf videos and everything will be clear. It all makes sense but there's too much for one UA-cam comment and I don't feel like going right now

The rest of that’s understandably weirdly written. Rasputin has had different directions in the story since the get go
However Felwinter was his “son” before he was resurrected as a guardian. There are videos on this out there, it’s a deep lore thing. Osiris is just old enough to have been around Felwinter- that’s all there is to that one

"i emotionally outburst, slaughtered my son and his crew, then got sad later and wants to be forgiven".
who'd forgive him of that? really? his dead son? if possibly revived somehow? and why is Osiris so convinced, the writers themselves convinced, that Rasputin may even get it?
. "we all get a bit upset sometimes Dad. Sure, you killed everyone and everything that meant something to me, and killed me as well. but no biggie. I understand you made a little mistake."
I wonder if the opinions of Guardians for crimes, and even fratricide, etc, (Uldren's warcrime killing and also his murder of Cayde as an example), is so brushed off, because they're all nearly immortal. Since the plot is so easily "TADAA HES ALIVE AGAIN WEEEE", it leads me to believe that maybe, the writers start to brush it off too, while they slaver at another opportunity to quickly shoehorn in just how noble and nice the Guardian are by wishing slaughter to be forgiven by their enemies both former and current.

Hey, compared to the Vex or Hive, I’m more apt to forgive those remorseful for their deeds. At least now Crow / Uldren was manipulated
