She also has done collabs with Becky G and Christina Aguilera but those are all after her time on Hollywood records so technically they do not count. She was signed to Hollywood Records from 2015 to 2021. Violetta is a huge Latin American telenovela ( 3 seasons, 80 episodes per season) the show was dubbed in multiple languages where TINI sang the theme song in 3 languages. The show had 6 albums, 2 tours (1 of which was an international tour) and a movie. The movie was practically a branding rename for Martina Stossel to TINI for her stage name. Fun fact, Bridget Mendler and R5 both sang a song on the show and Sofia Carson was in the movie, so add that to their credits. Violetta was so popular that Disney + had a concert of hers where she sang 5 songs from the show in 2022. TINI also sang "Let It Go" for Disney in Spanish and Italian for the frozen end credits. Raven was also on the soundtrack for The Haunted Mansion...famously. There was a music video of her on the DVD. And that music video played on Disney Channel for months on end.
I think the entire Club Penguin Disney Music Jam lineup ended up being featured in this video, which is a funny coincidence. It was a Club Penguin event where a small random collection of Disney stars appeared as their penguin counterparts to perform on a luxury cruise ship. The line up was Martina Stoessel, Cole Plante, Sabrina Carpenter, and Zendaya. Also a Club Penguin original character was there too. Crazy times
and of course there has been a development as Selena came back for the Wizards revival, I don't think she sings the theme song and she is only a guest appearance, but that is something that has happened since september
The new theme song is by Janice LeAnn Brown (Billie), featuring guest vocals by Selena. I see it as a “passing the torch” sort of thing. I’m curious what route Janice will go down in terms of music, and whether it’s something she really wants.

Last week I was commenting about Tini with a colleague. I particularly don't enjoy her music but she is super well known in South America and she starred in Violeta, a TV series of Disney Channel for South America.
I loved her show Violetta growing up but I don't like her music that much either. For me I just don't like reggaeton that much and the ones that I've listened to from her are that style. However, I like her earlier stuff with Hollywood Records and her music on Violetta as they were more pop than her current songs. And her recent song with Coldplay is really good.

Im so curious to know where Olivia would rank as well. Definitely close to one of their golden children bc she had two shows. Although, HSMTMTS was technically a Disney+ show and not Disney Channel. Majority of her music with Disney were soundtracks too. I’m also excited to hear him talk about Dove Cameron. She was kind of a Disney golden girl, but I don’t remember if she made solo music for them. I’m also curious to know if he’ll mention Laura Marano in pt.2 as well bc o think Disney also tried to make her a popstar and gave her a dcom.
This is EXACTLY the super niche content that I crave. Super well done. I was wondering where Ashley & Keke were, guess I’ll have to wait for part 2. Also wondering if Drew Seeley is on there since he did quite a bit of music on DC
Something New- Zendaya ft Chris Brown is a BOP! Still in rotation till this day. Also your girlfriend’s opinion on Jesse McCartney is perfect, he was the blueprint to the teenage pop star at the time I’m surprised he didn’t have a longer run.

sofia carson was also in "a cinderella story: if the shoe fits" which aired on freeform and disney, but was distributed by warner. she's credited for 5 songs from that soundtrack
1:10:22 Jordan sang Happily Ever After which is the BEST fireworks show at WDW! Without that song the show wouldn’t be as good. He also helped save the show after it originally went away. I’m not a big Jordan fan, but I am a big Disney parks fan and he deserves some more credit.
1:28:55 Argentina mention ☝️ Argentina and Disney have a long history of producing shows for this specific demographic with shows such as Soy Luna, Bia, Junior Express (this one's for Disney Junior but who cares te amo Topa), etc. Martina Stoessel was the protagonist of Violeta, a tv show that became incredibly popular. After leaving Disney she continued making music and nowadays she's very very popular, she's known mostly as Tini (diminutive of Martina). I don't personally listen to her music but I had to make this comment BECAUSE SHE'S NOT SPANISH. Thank you very much, loving this video so far
I'm only about halfway through the video, but just wanted to add this. Both Allstar Weekend and Coco Jones were on Radio Disney's Next Big Thing (NBT), a singing contest broadcasted on Radio Disney, and this was before their label signings. Neither won their respective seasons, but the latter has definitely had a more successful career than the winners of her season. Coco's debut song on NBT, "Real You", was such a bop. Can't seem to find it anywhere now though.
Fun fact: Aly and AJ still tour and they use their concerts to speak out about gun violence after being part of a mass shooting right before one of their shows.
i can't believe you didn't mention that aly & aj had their original songs rush and like whoa featured in twitches and minutemen respectively those were BOPS and deserve just as must recognition as potential breakup song
Rush would play on the radio, like MAINSTREAM radio. I grew up fundie and remember even hearing it on a Christian channel once 💀 It was incredibly popular.
This video idea is so ICONIC! I definitely applaud all the research and time this must have taken, because wow, this is ALOT. I religiously listened to Radio Disney as a kid, so I get extra excited when you discuss the more niche/random bands!
I wanna mention one thing about Olivia Holt bc I just finished rewatching this show...in Cruel Summer, she sang covers of quite a few 90s songs. This was in 2021, so probably right before she left the label.
Also I was so mad when I watched the Grammys and Coco Jones was in the new artist category. Like good for her I guess but she has been around for way too long for that.
@@gnomansland And now Sabrina is a nominee for the same category for next year’s Grammys. Clearly they need to change the category to “Best Breakthrough Artist.”
@cakt1991 Yeah I feel like it's always been such a bad category because it's hard to pin down. A real "new" artist is someone who just put out their first album this year, but we all know how unlikely it is that someone does that and then immediately has it become famous. And I don't want to disrespect the hustle by saying that someone who has worked in music for years and is now blowing up shouldn't be nominated for that award. It's hard to draw that line though when you look at the artists who are nominated. For instance, Sabrina and Chappell have both been making music for years at this point but Chappell FEELS like a new artist while Sabrina doesn't because she has this whole background of already being famous.
I like breakthrough artist but feel like that's also hard to pin down. Honestly in my opinion it should just be the "First Time Nominee" award because it's my understanding that that's what it represents: an artist's first year being included in the Grammys
This video reminded me about so many artists and songs that i entirely forget existed... which is hilarious because it also reminded me about seamus who i forgot existed.

I’m only a little over halfway through so far but honestly this is a great video
Also a quick correction: Ross Lynch is now doing music with his brother Rocky, not Riker (but Riker does go on tour with them so it still works 😂)
Would just like to add the fact that Bridgit Mendler made a song "Summertime" for a Studio Ghibli film!!!! Arrietty! It was through Disney because they distribute them on the US
thank you for this! i did not come across this at all…just a reminder that i am only human unfortunately 🫠
@@SeamusGorman4 omgg did not think you would see this comment at all. fair enough, we all are!! you did humonguous research. loved the video! already sent it to all my friends who watched disney channel at the time 🥰
as someone who’s been following sabrina since her start on disney, hollywood records did such a horrible job at promoting sabrina’s music to the point where she split singular into 2 parts and used the clouds movie album as her 5th record just so she could finish her 5 album contract w hollywood records asap. she was also allegedly sued by her old management team and that was what inspired sue me :,)
Vegard continuing his pursuit to feature on every youtube channel other than his own.
Seamus and Vegard go way back - fun times!!
A friend of mine saw Jordan Fisher in Hadestown a few months back. So jealous :(
Omg I'm so jealous 😭😭
Who cares
Me too! Didn't realize he was famous from other stuff, thought he was great.
I've been subscribed to Seamus Gorman for like 6 years and the way his channel has grown is incredible. This video is great
thanks !!!!!
That TINI jump scare lol. She was in. Violetta like a huge Disney channel international. And she still huge and i think recently did a collab with Coldplay
Seamus, your girlfriend rules, I love her takes. Once again, you've made a video that, on paper, I shouldn't care at all about and yet, here I am. Not only enjoying it but excited for more. Well done.
"Remember that time Corbin Blue loved jump roping?" Mafe me laugh more than it had any right to 🤣
so that movie really exists?! I couldve sworn in was a coolective fever dream
I thought Corbin Bleu would be higher but maybe that's because Jump In and it's soundtrack went platinum in my house lol
If there’s one thing Seamus is good at, it’s getting me to watch multi-hour long video essays about topics I’ve never had any interest in previously. But I am always sat and ready to listen!
Not putting tini in the official list because shes a latin artist is a crime because violetta was immansky popular and had a tour which sparked another latin disney show soy luna that was also immensely popular (tho i dont know how popular these shows were in america but they were superrr popular in ALL of europe and south America)
Crazy times
The lack of mention for Princess Protection Programme hurts😭
I Did not Expect To Like this movie but the Only time i Watch it I Really like it
36:31 I’ve known of Miley Cyrus for years, and I’m still surprised by everything she did during her Disney era. A true ICON
31:12 Disney needs their own Quiet on Set installment or just any documentary that calls them out on their misdeeds as much as Nickelodeon’s.
Demi Levato did something that was released a few months ago
@@mackenziemcAnd for some reason she included Jojo Siwa who was exposed for abusing children along with her mother
@@neb.9489 yeah…. I’m neutral towards her. Not worth my energy
Coco Jones not even making into the will is insane. She was THE it Disney girl for a hot minute there in the black community
and of course there has been a development as Selena came back for the Wizards revival, I don't think she sings the theme song and she is only a guest appearance, but that is something that has happened since september
The new theme song is by Janice LeAnn Brown (Billie), featuring guest vocals by Selena. I see it as a “passing the torch” sort of thing. I’m curious what route Janice will go down in terms of music, and whether it’s something she really wants.
@@cakt1991she does do a good job, and today the kids seem to be more free on wether they want to sign with Hollywood Records or not, they are not pushing that much to create Popstars anymore, not in the way they were doing it in the 2000s and early 2010s
The fact that you mentioned TINI but said nothing about her successful career makes me sad, she deserves some words💜
I'm surprised Keyan Carlile didn't get to this topic first, great work!!
Sir….Seamus Gordon dropped another banger..he dropped another banger!!
your girlfriend saying she’s had a parasocial relationship w selena gomez since she was 7 is so real
All of the theater kids will start a revolt that you didn't mention Jordan Fischer is a Broadway star!
okay, you've found a niche. Loved your theories, watched a few of your 2nd wave SG content, but I'm 100% in for this please PLEASE make this a bunch of parts with a bunch of hours!!
aly & aj's current music is so good
Where is Ashley Tisdale? She's Sharpay Evans, Madde from Suite Life, Candice from Pheaneas and Ferb, they were playing her music like crazy during commercial breaks and promoting her CD I could've swore she was signed to Hollywood Records she should be there around the same time as Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu I'd say they pushed her more than either of them
The title says part one. Patience.
Christy Carlson Romano definitely made the will. She was just as popular as Hillary Duff and Raven at the time.
No she wasn't 🤣 her most famous role was Kim Possible. No one watched Phil nor Cadet Kelly
@@Serperi0rhow old are you? Cause she wasn’t even on Phil first of all lmao. She was on Even Stevens that is her most popular live action appearance by far. If you think no one watched it you’re probably too young you probably weren’t a teenager when it came out 🤷🏽♀️
@@judysm95cadet kelly is also probably one of the most iconic DCOMs too
@@judysm95 im in australia and had no awareness of who she was until seeing her on youtube but watched nearly everything hillary duff was in, i watched kim possible but wasnt really aware of the voice actors and never heard of even steven as a teenager
let’s be for real. hilary was genuinely making pop hits outside of disney
I watched Violetta even though I’m from the US and to my understanding she was lowkey the Hillary duff of Latin America Disney channel, no? Lol
@@judysm95 yeah, Violetta and Tini were so huge the show had several international tours and merch everywhere
The only thing I remember about Mitchel Musso is that his brother was in Metro Station with Miley Cyrus's brother lol
this is such a well-researched video. it's clear you put heart and soul into it--leagues above the slop people churn out these days. the editing is amazing as well. RESPECT!!!!
all i have to say about corbin bleu is that i used to confuse him with orlando bloom. imagine my surprise when i heard he played legolas in lord of the rings lmao
i was very much looking forward to you talking about olivia rodrigo in this bc i’m a huge fan only to get further and further into the video and wonder when she was going to be mentioned, only to then discover this is a part one!! also v excited for you to talk about ashley tisdale i loved her just as much as i loved miley demi and selena back in the day. was a big fan of bridget too.
I clicked on this SO FAST 😂 I’m excited to see you covering this!! We all missed you Seamus 😊🩷
This is EXACTLY the super niche content that I crave. Super well done. I was wondering where Ashley & Keke were, guess I’ll have to wait for part 2. Also wondering if Drew Seeley is on there since he did quite a bit of music on DC
calling tini (who's from argentina, former spanish colony) a spanish artist is evilll
I think he meant Spanish (language) artist
Something New- Zendaya ft Chris Brown is a BOP! Still in rotation till this day.
Also your girlfriend’s opinion on Jesse McCartney is perfect, he was the blueprint to the teenage pop star at the time I’m surprised he didn’t have a longer run.
I like how when we hit 2012-ish, you seem just as confused as I do about who you're talking about.
Hayden Panetierre (Kairi) and Jesse McCartney (Roxas) being back-to-back made this Kingdom Hearts fan happy
I just LOVE, LOVE the fact that seamus stood right in front of the photo for every single one of the person so when I think "who is this person?" I actually have to look them up on spotify that was a great business idea seamus
FINALLY!!!! (thank you for your continued service to the community)
I like the PP format and the new look, but with them combined I'm expecting him to sell me a timeshare 😅
Seriously though, I'm so glad to have you back, Seamus and Vegard, and welcome girlfriend ❤❤❤
sofia carson was also in "a cinderella story: if the shoe fits" which aired on freeform and disney, but was distributed by warner. she's credited for 5 songs from that soundtrack
Love is the name 🫶🏽😭
Loved seeing you again Seamus!
It's like cathing up with a childhood friend ❤️
WELCOME BACK SEAMUS
i have been watching you since i was 12 and i’m graduating uni in a few weeks…
Seamus putting out Quinton Reviews level analysis? I'm sooo here for it!!!! so stoked for all parts
Dude you are making me wanna have my disney channel phase again after 4 years 💀
1:10:22 Jordan sang Happily Ever After which is the BEST fireworks show at WDW! Without that song the show wouldn’t be as good. He also helped save the show after it originally went away. I’m not a big Jordan fan, but I am a big Disney parks fan and he deserves some more credit.
just as i was wondering when Seamus’ last video was, i go onto his channel and bam new video uploaded 40 mins ago.. what are the odds
1:28:55 Argentina mention ☝️
Argentina and Disney have a long history of producing shows for this specific demographic with shows such as Soy Luna, Bia, Junior Express (this one's for Disney Junior but who cares te amo Topa), etc.
"reading can be fun" and "wash your hands" are bops 🎶
Rip long haired Seamus, your hair will be missed
1:32 Seamus is human confirmed
I was randomly thinking about this last night and you release this video
I remember Jordan Pruitt because her father or godfather or grandfather i cant remember was the pastor of a church i used to attend.
i loved jordan pruitt i feel like if they gave her a tv show she would’ve been huge
This vid hitting in the nostalgia with Miley the jobros and Demi all back to back… that was like my bread and butter
1:13:49 you have no idea how much of an impact they had on me and my sisters as a child
the way i FROZE when you said christy carlson romano… i fear i am too deep into the former child star drama rabbit hole
Thank you for putting respect on Cinderella III !! 24:08
i can't believe you didn't mention that aly & aj had their original songs rush and like whoa featured in twitches and minutemen respectively those were BOPS and deserve just as must recognition as potential breakup song
i did mention they featured but was just trying to keep things concise 🫣
@seamusgorman4 OMG you’re totally fine I just wanted to shout out my fave songs but this was an incredible watch and I’m only halfway through!
I really appreciate Seamus experimenting with different formats for his videos. Welcome back Seamus!
This video was so intense for no reason and you absolutely ate! 🎉 excited for the next one!
Obsessed with this era of mammoth infrequent videos you’re in
I wanna mention one thing about Olivia Holt bc I just finished rewatching this show...in Cruel Summer, she sang covers of quite a few 90s songs.
I havent been to this channel in 6 years.....holy crap u have changed A LOT 😮
1:33:43 Mitchell also voiced Jeremy on Phineas and Ferb
This video reminded me about so many artists and songs that i entirely forget existed... which is hilarious because it also reminded me about seamus who i forgot existed.
and Coco Jones is acting now. she stars as hilary banks in the peacock drama bel air, based on the fresh prince of bel air and produced by will smith. she was also on a few episodes of good luck charlie as one of teddy's volleyball teammates.
Still here to beg Seamus for a "Connecting All Barbie Movies Together" video 😢😭🙏🏻🕯️
I’m halfway through this video and I’m pretty sure Seamus is tinker bell’s number 1 fan
