Overall I think Ow1 did a lot more good than Ow2. Cosmetics released during Ow1's lifespan were a lot better than the ones in Ow2 (Not to mention easier to get) I'm still so happy I got Oni for Genji and Demon for Hanzo. And atleast Ow1 had a story during events lmao
I laughed my ass off when they announced they would bring back the on fire system in the next season. They stated that they had to remove it because they switched to a new engine, thats just total bs. The system for On fire is still there and it's still active in the background. Have you ever heard your character say a voiceline like "I'm on fire" or "I'm unstoppable" whenever you got a multikill or did a shitton of healing in a short amount of time? Yeah, thats handled by the on fire system. I still think its funny how they lie about even the smallest of things, just makes Blizzard seem even more scummy than before...
My buddy took screenshots of his ranked profile for ow, he was in plat season 1 and now is GM in season 4 with 0 games played hes gone up a rank tier every season with 0 games played
All Hope Lost.. So SAD I've been playing OW since day 1 with over 2500 hours. I love the game and believed in a bright future and always stayed hopeful and positive. When they LIED I quit for good ! The Blizz team is a mess the quality has been awful ( Heroes not ready at launch, Broken updates, Crazy Bugs and much more). OW2 does not have the magic OW1 had and now they LIED and no PvE... After 7 years of OW I broke free and it and feels good. Overwatch will never break my heart again.. OW is just a broken Cash Grab now,,, CYA .... AKA.... Warhand
@@gkrisis The story is not show in a traditional way, Instead it's introduced through the Intro and the maps and the hero animation shorts and the comics, The reason a lot of players love the heroes is because of the overall story of OW1 and the background stories of each hero.
@@anarchistmaverick9507 First can I ask you what exactly is double shield?, I want to see if you actually know the real problem or not, Also you have broken ass characters in OW2 and yes goats and double shield was more balanced then 5v5 OW2 because 5v5 breaks the game balance at it's core , While double shield and goats where more to do with the heroes themselves, Simple put OW1 had some broken heroes , OW2 is a broken game.
I will argue overwatch 2 graphics aren't better near as good as overwatch 1, yeah models look a bit better and lightning in a superficial way too, but with the transisition to a new engine they messed up some baked in shadows and you can see clearly how the new time in some maps doesn't adapt good to how they were originally made for, and the new soft shadows doesn't look always good as they were a bit adapt lazy compared to the original more harder shadows classic of the time when overwatch was made
