    We painted our 1957 MCM house with SW Andiron (very dark black olive) and used Greek Villa for the trim with Copper Penny for the doors- looks amazing and we've gotten so many compliments from neighbors. What sealed the deal was painting large swatches of our 4 possible choices on one side of the house to see in different lighting conditions- it really showed the undertones of each color immediately.

      I sooooooo, love the sound of this - GREAT CHOICE. And the Copper Penny door? Mad love :)

    I love these dark greens! Can you please do a video on the best trims to go with some of these and why you like certain ones?
    Although I can't find many reviews, I really love BM Narragansett Green for it's depth, sophistication, and interesting play between the blue and green for my office cabinets with maybe Edgecomb gray or aesthetic white walls, or even a lighter blue/gray/green (I have lots of windows so the room can handle a lot of color). I have been thinking SW White Snow for trim but now I'm considering the more muted approach of a lightened version (by 25-50%) of BM White Dove or SW Cold Foam for trim. You are soooooo great at pairing colors! I would gladly sign up for a consulting package if I could catch them available so until then I will keep studying your videos and blog.

    I'm also fond of urbane bronze and porpoise! Urbane is a feature wall in my dining room! Love it! 💕

    I went with Rocky River on my laundry room cabinets. I LOVE it.

    I have red brick with a few accent siding areas. Tested BM castle peak gray, country life and Devonshire green. Country life is the perfect middle ground in terms of lrv and green-ness but is a little too warm comparatively. Not sure how to find a middle ground! I thought about asking for a % darker dev. green or a % lighter c.p. gray but I've never done that before.

    Thank you so much for all the wisdom! I am doing a kitchen remodel. We have a 2000 built house with proper cream walls. Is it better to do upper cabinets white, and lower cabinets navy, with white quartz? Or cream cabinets all over with white quartz? Would love your input!

    • @KylieMInteriorsPaint
      @KylieMInteriorsPaint  19 днів тому +1

      Oh jeez, that's a big question! I can say that cream cabinets are risky as its harder to find coordinating countertops and finishes, whereas the right white can be far more flexible! If you go to my blog and type in QUARTZ, I have a great post on the top 13. You can also type in 'WHITE CABINETS' and see some great posts!

    Ohhhh this will help me to order my samplize 💛🙃 I hesitated between Pewter green, Ripe olive, Shade-Grown, Laurel Woods or I saw couple people mix 50/50 Pewter green and Ripe olive 🙃 All the walls, trims ceilings are Chantilly lace, a beautiful dark green will add personality. I will paint all doors in my home and my small kitchen island. 💚

      I'm so glad! And I seriously love ALLLLL of these. If you're thinking all doors/island, I would err on the side of a 'little less green vs a little more green', in which case, i DO love SW Night Owl :) But if you really want to HIT that green, Shade Grown and Ripe Olive are wicked pretty!

      @@KylieMInteriorsPaint thank a lot for this suggestion, I would try Rock bottom too 💛 I add this Night owl to my cart. I am a bit affraid about too green color, but on the other hand, I have not a lot of light and color in general look less intense. I need to try for see!

    I'm considering SW Roycroft Bronze Green for my kitchen cabinets. It's so pretty! Would love to know if you have any thoughts about that color. Great video!!

      It's a STUNNER! I love how it winks at a kind of warm earthiness without being overly olive/muddy, you know? I also love its DEPTH SW Shade Grown and Ripe Olive can be a step too colorful for some, whereas Cast Iron isn't always green enough - Roycroft Bronze Green can be an awesome happy medium. I'd love to see it all done!

    My husband and I are trying to agree on a green for our exterior. We have some red brick. We have been considering Retreat but may want a warmer green. Ugh! Do you do exterior paint videos?

    • @KylieMInteriorsPaint
      @KylieMInteriorsPaint  23 дні тому

      I think that's a fabulous idea - I'll put it on my list! I do know that red brick can love green (mind you, it depends on the exact brick/windows/roof/etc. For a bit lighter/warmer, SW Cornwall Slate is interesting (it's less green). BM Fieldstone is lovely too, but less green (while still showing it). BM Raintree Green is warmer but a similar depth, October Mist is a good shift lighter!

      @KylieMInteriorsPaint  23 дні тому

      It TOTALLY depends on your roof/landscaping/any stone or brick. Generally, yes, Urbane Bronze is a gorgeous darker shade of greige. I also love SW Thunder Gray and BM Ashwood Moss ;)

      Right? When it comes to green, it's always in style, it's just about which TYPE of green is currently trendy :)
