    Shoji White appears to be a versatile white that sings beautifully with many compatible grey tones! Kylie M., I'm thankful for having the good fortune of your guiding us through these pairings. Your masterful command of the pallet is remarkable. I'll be sure to add Shoji White to my initial order of sample swatches!

    I put Shoji white on my exterior with Urbane bronze. It's really nice. It allows me to have a white house without blinding my neighbors. I'm now looking for an interior color so this video is really helpful.

    Hi. In your 1st review of shoji white I asked about paintings trim ceilings and walls shoji in my small low ceilings townhome. I wonder if trying the whole house at 50 percent lighter will be nice. Perfect timing for me as I have been considering this color for my main color!

    this is so helpful. My floors are about the color of your hair with a bit more brown and black here and there as they are reclaimed wood floors. I can just imagine what colors look the best if you were wearing them, and that would look the best in my home.

    I’m going to pray to the paint Gods that you do one of these pairing vids with natural tan before I pull the trigger 😁🙏🏻
    It seems to be one of only a few that will really work with my space and I’d love to get your thoughts on colors that work with it. Love your content as always!

      I have colonial American stained oak stairwell. Looks more orange than yellow for undertone. I'm guessing Shoji wouldn't get along? Didn't like SW Creamy next to the wood

    I was set to do Shoji thruout my new build, but saw your video of white duck and switched. Would love to see a white duck video with coordinating colors. Your videos are the best!

    I have white / grey fine vein quartz. I am looking for a neutral green island color that goes with dark wood cabinets. I am transforming farmhouse to cottage.

    Painting Shoji White on walls in a rehab that doesn’t have a ton of natural light and the green undertones are taking over….I’m sick I didn’t get a paint sample! Looks so different than the sample your poster board.

      Yup, interior lighting and conditions play a HUGE PART in how a paint color looks!

    Hi, thanks for your videos. What would you say to a whole house interior with shoji and the master bedroom in aesthetic or moderate white?

    This was amazing! Do you think Shoji as a main colour could go with an accent Navy like Hale Navy? Its a toss up between shoji, classic gray and drift of mist. I have a lot of lighting.

      Oooo, I DO love Classic Gray with Hale Navy, but Shoji could work too :)

    Hi, my exterior is SW chopsticks Im thinking about painting my bakyard walls and grill shoji white. Would that make shoji white look dingy?

    Hey Kylie,
    How ick is Shoji White room with a side by side room in Sherwin Williams Natural Linen? I’m surprised how much I love the warmth when comparing them.
    Thank you

      Ermmmmm, it makes me a bit twitchy, for sure, but not SUPER twitchy. I would just worry about Shoji White looking a touch dingy/dirty compared to Natural LInen.

    what would you recommend as a main color to go with blue gray accents most blogs and youtubers tend to recommend blue green and green paints but some ppl love blue grays

    • @KylieMInteriorsPaint
      @KylieMInteriorsPaint  Місяць тому

      Ooooo, i LOVE blue-gray accents. Now blue-gray can be blue-gray-GREEN or blue-gray-VIOLET and that can change things a bit. Overall, I'd lean into warm neutrals, say, BM Edgecomb Gray, SW Aesthetic White, SW Shoji White, SW White Duck. I have a great blog post with some good ones in it here! www.kylieminteriors.ca/the-best-off-white-neutral-paint-colours-undertones-and-more/ I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

    Would Shoji White be compatible with “earth tones” browns, creams and tans?

    • @KylieMInteriorsPaint
      @KylieMInteriorsPaint  15 днів тому

      It 100% depends on the exact colors. Some of the undertones could be hit and miss and some will FOR SURE be too warm. I'd say 'generally speaking' no, but there are some that work.
