When I innstalled today phillips hue being lamp with dimmer switch, something has happened with IKEA smart Light in the same room. and now my IKEA remote doesn't work! I tried to reset it, but it did not help! What Shall i do now? 😩
You mentioned the Zigbee module itself is slightly changed, do you know if it still contains EFR32MG1P132F256GM32, or could it have an other version of that chip? It would be really fun if they upgraded to a 512kb flash module so it could be programmed with the zigbee stack by GCC.
If it is the remote shapes like a circle of 6 cm diameter, with a 15 mm button, then it cannot work with trådfri. The remote is however quite valuable on the used marked.
I turned the power off at my panel so that I could safely install a new 30 amp breaker. when I restored the power my ikea under cabinet lights were on, and can no longer be controlled with the remote. Put in new batteries and followed the reset instructions by pressing the little button inside. did not work. any helpful suggestions?
Thank you for your response, had already tried that, but tried it again with no success. I don’t understand why cutting off the power would affect the operation of the lights.

All i know is it uses the exactly the same firmware.
I have a single button ikea remote. How can I make the newest trådfri work with it.

Kan se du bruger knappen til diverse smart pærer i andre videoer. Kan den parres med hue hub og programmeres som man vil deri?

Hi, is there a difference in opening the two versions? I tried to open the new one but was not sucessful.
The new version is glued together.
@@PerMejdal Why did they glue it together? Don't they want us to open it?

You can try to reset the panel by power it off and on 6 times, with 1-2 sec pause in each state.
Thank you for your response, had already tried that, but tried it again with no success. I don’t understand why cutting off the power would affect the operation of the lights.
@@dougzajac5134 It is the "reset-button" of the panel.
Where is this “reset” button located”
