Thanks Erin for telling us the truth about this occupation. I quit my job as a medical practitioner last 3 years after 10 years in the field. It was not a easy decision. But in life we all know one thing and that it is too short to dread going to work everyday. Friends I’m not asking you to resign your job, no amount of money can buy happiness you just got to be wise.😊 I found your channel, you’re awesome. ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve heard more and more stories like mine, and I’m absolutely not saying my case was the worst, but the relief I feel now waking up in the morning with motivation, inspiration and overall happiness is something I’m so glad you can relate to 🥰 it’s sometimes an awkward thing to say I left a prestigious firm after so many years of education, but worth it anyway. Have you found the same thing? I’d imagine especially in medicine the decision to leave would come with a lot of mixed emotions! Happy for you tho🤍 also, thanks for being here! I actually have a follow up video coming soon 😊
@Lisa Davis Right now I run my own business while I'm still in service that is; I started planning for early retirement while i was still working, making about $2k a week from my investment portfolio while planning to build new side jobs and income. Four years ago I quit my job as a middle school teacher to join the music industry. Now I'm considering a career change again. It’s such a hard choice to make! I completely understand, and empathize with you. That was something that I thought of many times, giving up my pension and benefits with my old job, but honestly, I never think of it any more. Hi Erin, I’m in the exact same boat as you, worked in a big 4 accounting firm in audit also, completely understand where you’re coming from. I needed to get out of it as well, it’s not an easy decision. I’m working in an industry role now but even that is crazy busy and a lot of manual work. I’m genuinely thinking of taking a completely different career path and it’s extremely daunting especially after getting my accounting qualification and how long it took. Any advice for what I should do or any other career paths I could look into?
Lol so many videos on YT about quitting their six figure job lately. The only reason you quit is because you made enough money so that you don't need six figures anymore(probably a $million+). I'll take the job any time. Hit me up.
in the US, among the population of millionaires, the second highest ranking profession is accountants. so, a lot actually.Though I think if you're hung up on that, you probably missed the point of the video
I’ve been in corporate accounting for two years and i strongly believe nobody can like this field..!! I dream about quitting everyday! And i’m working on my passion but the passion is hard by itself and requires me to spend some decent money on it😁 but i’m gonna get there soon! Do you recommend any other field to shift to while in corporate and saving up for passion? I just feel like even if I wanna stay in and save up for a while I can’t continue with accounting 😅

Thank you so much for saying that 🤍 I wish you the best if you’re going through the same thing … it’s not always easy 💕
Hi Erin. I am happy that you are pursuing your passion making videos, whatever they contain, I look forward to watching your future videos. I assume that you liked your trip to Paris, I liked the few days that I spent there. You are right, you should do whatever you want to do to make you happy. What will you feature in your future videos?
thank you Andrew! I loved Paris, it's one of my favourite cities! I'm not sure if this new change in my life will mean that I pivot my content, but it will always be based on fashion :)
@@ErinCara you are very welcome, will your fashion include fur? I look forward to watching your future videos, could you do a winter coats video? Possibly Cruella at some point? I also liked Paris especially Paris Disney. What is your favourite coat out of the coats that you have? I am in my final year at Uni, the three years so far have definitely had their moments but so far I am doing ok and on course for a 2:1
Ahh Canada somewhere I'm dying to visit! 😍 🇨🇦 I'm from Scotland 🏴 thanks for your story 🙏🏻
I just got my CPA license and I already want to leave the profession lol too relatable
Have you left yet? Hope you get to do something everyday that you love 💕 I can’t tell you how worth it it is to be genuinely happy. Doesn’t mean there aren’t difficult or stressful days on the other side, but working toward a goal I believe in, and building a life I love is the most rewarding thing I’ve done, and I’ve truly just scratched the surface.
Hit me up.
So happy for you ❤️
thank you darling❤
What nail polish are you wearing here
Where is your sweatshirt from
They are so mean. Their kids will be treated the way they treated you
Good for you. Good luck.
Thank you so much! You're so sweet, Mary! ❤️
Bravo Erin bravo !!!!
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to make an update video, a lot has happened within the business, and I’ve learned a lot 🤍
You’re kidding me right? Welcome to real life!
What
I have to compliment your perfect teeth.
This made me smile ☺️ thank you! You’re so sweet!
lol wut. What CPA is flaunting Bentleys and yachts
in the US, among the population of millionaires, the second highest ranking profession is accountants. so, a lot actually.Though I think if you're hung up on that, you probably missed the point of the video
