Excellent! Great tutorial too. I've been thinking about these bags lately...something that can be thoroughly washed/sanitized because I'm sort of freaked out at this point about reusing plastic bags because they might carry germs. I suppose I could wash plastic bags but drying them would be a real pain.
One of the best tutorials I’ve ever followed and I’ve followed many! I used the same yarn and crochet hook and it turned out so great that I plan to make more bags! ❤️ Thank you for this tutorial!!
'Amy loves Crochet' sent me over as she made this bag. It was lovely! I found this such a good tutorial. I love that the spaces are not too large, I would fancy lining it, great bag❣️👏👏👏
Thanks so much! This looks like it will be very sturdy and not stretch out so much like other bag patterns. Appreciate the very easy to follow tutorial too
I just made my first produce bag. It looks so cute. I used cotton yarn that I already had so it's kind-of colorful. I'll have the fanciest bag at the grocers. This tutorial is very easy and simple to follow. Keep making tutorials!
Great tutorial. I’m using Lily Sugar N’ Cream in the color Hot Orange, and Ecru. This particular brand of cotton does split easily. If you want to use a softer cotton, Hobby Lobby makes I Love This Cotton yarn.
Just found this bag on Pinterest and was watching your video. Your video was easy to follow along and your pattern was easy to read. I can’t wait to make this bag. Thank you. ☺️
I started mine at 9am and I'm still on the handles. I might have attempted too much as a beginner but it's such s cute bag. Hopefully it works out on the end.
I’m new to your channel, you have beautiful projects!! I’ve just completed this bag, I did a short handle and I’m ready pleased how it turned out with your very clear instructions!!! Many thanks!!!
Does this stretch out of shape when using these bags and stay out of shape or go back to normal shape? Sorry for the question I have never crocheted bags before and wanting to really make this lovely design. Can you use any type of wool/yarn with this bag or is it best to go larger ply?
The bigger one does stretch a lot but some people like it that way. I am 5 2", so I find the smaller size is more right for my height. Crochet bags will stretch unless you line them. 100% cotton is always preferred to avoid too much elasticity.

Thank you for a great tutorial! It was very clear and easy to follow. I made it in a red, white and green cotton (mistletoe) for a Christmas present.
Great job!

I know you prefer cotton for your market bags because acrylic stretches but what’s the acrylic is doubled have you tried that?
No, I haven 't tried 2 strands of acrylic.
Beautiful thank you

I am going to make me one of these, they are charging for shopping sacks now. :(
They used to charge for plastic bags when we were in Germany and we all used to carry our own bags which is so much better for the environment.
I want to do the larger bag.
Please tell me how many to chain.
I know it’s 85 with increments of 5.
I want to know what you did.
You can find the full written pattern with the bigger size here: crochetdreamz.com/crochet-market-bag-free-pattern/
Where is the link for the big bag? Thanks!
