I have no shame in disclosing I was bawling like a baby when I heard. Famous last words for me: my wife understood well enough to disrupt our entire non-refundable honeymoon in Hawaii so I could see him at Alpine Valley on August 26 or 27 (we were married on the 24th). "I’ll have another chance to see him.” 😢😢😢
Incredible new material and love the Muddy Waters cover of King Bee!!! I like how you're keeping the blue alive and celebrating the traditional Blues mentors!! Awesome awesome!!
Absolutley amazing! I have been listening to Kenny since 98 and have seen his in person about 6 times.. However, I don't remember him singing in the early days, he has a great voice.
I can't stop playing "hard lesson learned" abso fucking lutely love that song. These guys are in my top 5 list as it stands today, (changes over time) with Joe Bonamassa, Albert Cummings, Jimmy Barnes and, as always the Allman Bros.
I love guitars and I love people who can make guitars sing and Kenny Wayne Shepherd is one of the greats. Taking blues and mixing it with some rock. I love it!
Love this song! Some lessons learned shouldn’t be so hard, but people now Adam’s sometimes need the hard lesson, unfortunately! God is the best teacher though! :)
Two really talented musicians right there, and people don't realize how hard you have to work to sing and play at the same time as Noah does, and the obvious skills of Kenny of course. Have to give a big shoutout to Paste..not only for bringing these to us..but also for the excellent work in capturing the sound so well, even though that space works well, getting it recorded so it sounds so good is a skill in itself, and so again Kudo's to all those involved in making that happen.
man first time I ever saw / heard you my band was in an opener slot at a blues concert in San Diego that you headlined back when you were like still in high school sheesh! I am old as dirt now - MUST BE cuz you all growed up! Your TONE is what always kills me most about what ya do! just sayin'
Blues bin my favorite music sins I was 12 I got in to blues very much so in my 15 and my first artist was Johnny Winter, RIP JOHNNY. KNOW IS most definitely KWS.
i came close to tears when Stevie Ray died, Kenny and Noah are keeping his style alive. Love it

Looks like KWS is using his Analogman KOT into that little Vox combo. Sounds great with his old Strat!
Heard these guys with their band in Vermont last year...they rocked the place hard. A good time was had by all. :-)
I’m going to see them in 3 days.
Can’t wait. It’s been years since I’ve seen him. Had original lead singer from Deja Voodoo days when I did.

Honestly feel like I’ve heard this same song done a million times
A million and one! And we love it!!
All these songs sound a bit tired, bit boring, been done to many times to sound original, or exciting?
Awesome Music Guys! Love it!
Magical throughout, but sheer wizardry at 24:00.
Que buena combinación de voces, unos maestros....el estilo de tocar la guitarra de Kenny es magnifico.....!!

Blue on black. My X husband in our life together Ended
Smells of SRV (in a good way) :). One of the reasons why i love KWS
Its on purpose. I believe his dad was an SRV roadie and KWS lived on the road as a kid.
srv is all by himself love Kenny though
They’re great. Kenny does the Stevie thing as well as anyone, better than most.
