..The Loonking lies low where he was thrown. The asylum is lit with the incredibly powerful glow of the Loonmoon. He feels the loon pulsate through his body with fungal spores and he likes it. He rises without even moving a muscle. All around him glorious knights rise covered in moon regalia. The ecstasy of anticipation is palpable and the Loonking marches through the mass of loonknights to the source of the light. There a glorious knight rises upon his steed of pure fungal strength- the avatar of Loonmoon..
Imagine the delusion from the Archregent taking hold of the Gitz and he adds them to the court. Now extrapolate that over the course of a few hundred years. It could result in the merging of the two factions into something insane and horrible. I like it.
That really does sound like an awesome premise for a story! Really anywhere in that sort would be epic, the capture, the descent, or the consequences, each stage would be awesome. And what would be more grot-like than to finally get the ultimate or you are looking for, only for it to then out so much worse than you did have conceived of?
Hearing how you described the Ghoul King again made me think, are there any stories that describe what happens to the delusion if a Ghoul King is killed but the lower ranks of their court survive? Does the delusion continue for say Crypt Ghouls if the Abhorrents fueling the delusion are all destroyed?
@@keasler_1400 Sweet thank you for the recommend. I'll have yo try and find it soon. Actually was planning to use some FEC in the soulbound campaign i am running and that may come u0 lol.
I'd rather see Skagrot fail. But more importantly just imagine being a Grot and being told you were gonna go fight some Humies and instead you get to die at the hands and mouths of Ghouls.
Has anyone thought of how amazing a film could be that centered around the flesh eater courts, if the delusion wasn't revealed until the very end?
When two madmen meet - the story of facing your reflection in the bathroom mirror in the morning
Must admit: I was going to ask about this short story at some time. Very interesting how FEC and Gloomspite intersect.
I don't get to read as much of the lore as I would like, so I really appreciate your videos!

I had a weird idea while listening.
What if the fungal assylum CURED the Archregent's madness?

Ohh I love the FEC lore. So much fun!!
I think catching him could just boil down to hiring a giant orruk waaagh to go get him for you but that's an easier said than done type thing....
It'd be interesting to see how much damage could be done to the moonspite gits if their enemies could predict the appearances of the bad moon :O
